Arrived at MainStay Suites Denver International Airport without a welcoming gesture. I was told to wait even before I was able to speak. I made a reservation for a 1 night stay with king bed months ago; however, at check in the receptionist rudely told me that they were out of king beds for the night even though I had a reservation. She didn’t offer any apology or further explanation of the room situation nor did she explain the hotel amenities, room directions, check out time, etc. We ended up in a room with 2 double beds and kitchenette. The room was clean and stocked with linens. In the future, we will not be staying here instead we will take our business to other hotels in the area.

Last night my family and I were being harassed and racially profiled by the “owners” and a worker here at this hotel. After coming from a long trip just wanting to relax A man in a BRIGHT purple suit advised my brother and siblings that the cops would be called if they left the hotel for any reason. An earlier incident with the employee called the cops on us! The worker asked my brother what they were doing there and they advised they were waiting on us for the room key…when the hotel owner said they needed a permit and flashed the light he said “better not steal anything!” I’m very disappointed in the lack of empathy and blatant racism my family experienced here as we were NOT the only individuals outside.

Building was extremely nice and updated. We got the room that sleep 6 with the pullout couch and 2 queen beds. It also had a kitchen with 2 burns, microwave and full size refrigerator and ample cabinets for food storage for a week There was a full hot breakfast with 2 waffle makers (rarity for 2), scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Strange about this hotel is if you have a 4th floor room, outside on the upper ledge of the building are cocoons or hollow shaped nests that has a bunch of birds flying in and out of the all day. There are hundreds of them just on this building. Never saw anything like this. The hotel across the parking lot did not have these cocoons or birds. We had to keep the shades closed because it's very unsettling and creepy. Reminds you of Alfred Hitchcocks the birds but they aren't crows. If I stay here again I would not get the 4th floor. NO WAY

Booked Mainstay side with kitchenette. My room was updated and clean all four days of my stay. Great shower pressure and hot water. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Full size fridge and microwave. Large LG TV bright and clear. WiFi was very good. My last two days I had to go back down to have the front Desk reset my key card. Not sure why. The Shuttle Service is shared with 3 other surrounding Hotels so be sure to plan accordingly. Make reservations at front Desk for your ride back to DIA. It can get pretty full fast. Other than that I had a nice stay. I would recommend this Hotel over most other 3star hotels nearby. I rented a car and had no trouble finding a place to eat.

First checked in around 3pm for a quick stay till my shuttle at 2:30am. Room smelt like mildew and cigarette smoke. Thought all was well until later that night when i turned on the lights and saw cockroaches running around the walls and in the shower in the bathroom (big and small). Second picture was one of them that was hiding in the shower crack. Upon walking out into the kitchen and turning on the lights they were crawling on the floor and countertops in the kitchen area. (Wasn’t able to get a lot of pictures because they all moved fast) went down to the lobby and the only thing i was offered was to move rooms. The next room was “cleaner” however at that point my shuttle was in 3 hours so i definitely was not getting any sleep anyways, and my night was already ruined. The only “nice” part about this place was the lady at the front desk was nice about it. They also gave me an email to send the pictures to but it was not a valid address and when i re asked the people at the front and said it didn’t send through i got a shoulder shrug. So I’m going to post the pictures here instead. Oh and since they moved me rooms they cancelled my reservation and i was not able to get my points because it said i cancelled my stay. Also had booked a king suite but only had a double bed available which is fine but why was it available to begin with if they didn’t have it.

I stayed here with a friend. I love staying here when I'm in town! I lost my phone in the shuttle. They found it & made sure it was mine by asking me what it looked like. My phone was returned to me within an hour. The staff is very nice & professional. If you're in town or stuck at the airport, stay here! They have the nicest breakfast I've ever seen as well! Lots of variety!!! Vegan friendly. Rooms are SO CLEAN! NO ISSUES! Thank you for returning my phone!

Brilliant stopover after a long day travelling before continuing the next day. We had 2 apartment rooms with kitchen facilities would be good for an extended stay, rooms were exceptionally clean and very spacious.

I arrived to the hotel 3 hours before my husband who made the reservation, and was told I couldn’t check in without him being present. I had a baby with me but the front office didn’t seem phased. I was forced into buying another room. The carpet in the room smelled like dog pee. I then went to the front office to request a crib (holding a baby and wearing a boot for my ankle injury), and the man at the front desk rudely handed me the folded pack n play which didn’t have any bedding. All in all, the hotel didn’t feel clean and the staff was probably the most rude I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Really not happy that I contributed over $350 (for two rooms) to this business!

The manager at this hotel lacks common sense, decency, a morale compass and sense of compassion for people STUCK in Denver because all flights were canceled into NYC because of bad weather. I called the hotel before I booked 2 rooms for my son and his classmates who also could not get home ( who were in Denver performing with the the ICA). When my son and his friends arrived at the hotel, the employee who this situation was discussed with was no longer there and the manager refused to honor a fully paid reservation. She gets on the phone to explain why she won't honor the reservation and was like "I'm a mom so I understand." Mom or not, there was a paid reservation made based on information received by the hotel in advance. Being a mom, one might have decided to help these kids that are stuck 2000 miles away from home trapped in a situation totally not of their doing and out of their control. I paid for the rooms in my son's name who was 20 but the room needed to be in the person's name that was 21. SO INSTEAD of allowing me the opportunity to change the reservation, she canceled the reservation and was completely fine with these kids being stranded with no where to go after I had already paid over $800 for rooms there after I consulted a staff member before I booked. . She did offer for me to forego the money I had already paid (nonrefundable)where the reservation could of just been changed to reflect that of the 21 year old to make a NEW reservation that would cost more money and I could go off and pursue a refund in the future. Managers have the ability to exercise not only good customer service, but they have discretion. This one failed at both.

We booked a room 7 days in advance, but when we arrived we were told they had overbooked and moved us to a hotel down the road. We were given no options for other rooms other than being told to go to the other hotel, without any explanation offered until we asked. The customer service was poor and we sensed no empathy. We were given no notice (email, text or call), even though we checked in a few hours after check-in time. We had to move our luggage a across the parking lot because our ride had already left. We had already paid for the hotel room too!

What a great find! Close to the airport, very clean, great price. My family of 6 was able to sleep comfortably in one room thanks to a sleeper sofa. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a full kitchen, closet space, and a really decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and there was plenty of seating for guests. Very satisfied with our stay!

Patrick at the front desk delivers phenomenal customer service and care from the depth of his soul~ and natural talent from above, can’t fake gifts from God! We are repeat customers because of warm-hearted people like Patrick; he’s a stellar human being. The housekeeping care was equally awesome, and extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. The staff in general are very welcoming. Good prices, breakfast is an added bonus, along with parking. We are choice members who value and appreciate the hospitality of the entire staff.

Affordable place , budget friendly (we paid $109 for 1 night for 2 people. They offer a free shuttle running from island 3 outside of gate 512 in the main terminal. Friendly staff, big spacious room, with free breakfast included available from 4 am.

Everything was fine with the hotel itself except for the shuttle service to the airport that only came twice in 3 hours, despite promises that it would "return in 12 minutes", and it took constant calling for 2 hours to finally not be immediately put in hold. The facility was very nice and the night manager lady was helpful once we got there.

Was a very nice stay! Everything was clean and nice, the TV was great quality. Staff was very nice and helpful after a long horrible flight. The breakfast was fully stacked with absolutely everything you’d want! Definitely recommend it! Also definitely try the mexican restaurant located right next to them! 5/5 on that as well!

Had an overnight layover. Airport shuttle was on time. Room was clean with some minor wear. Breakfast was OK. Wish there was more fruit. You have to schedule shuttle back to the airport so be sure to do that at check in.

Spacious room with all the needed amenities. Breakfast was great and had a lot of different breakfast choices. Front desk was nice and professional. There is a Mexican restaurant and a gas station within walking distance for convenience.

Had a very comfortable stay. The room was big and the layout was pretty open and spacious. My room was on the 4th floor. The room was quiet. Wifi connectivity was good. Very pleasant staff. Plenty of parking and very close to the airport. I believe they offer a shuttle service, but I did not use it as I rented a car.

They serve the same breakfast everyday, no kind of variety, the cleaning staff are great, the shuttle bus service to the airport is inaccurate so leave an hour ahead of time to get there, some of the front desk people are nice & some no personality..

When we stayed here in early 2022, the place was definitely new, which means it was super clean and the breakfast was pretty good. The staff was really friendly also.

Ants. Me got um. 4 days 0 maid service. Front desk rude and don't understand. No maid speaks American. Bugs everywhere. Ants. Ants in me socks. Met guy with limp at breakfast. (great breakfast) he is outted by them and they say he's dirty and brought in the ants. He has vid and shows me. Balls! They blame him! He bought his own poison to war it. He didn't get his place cleaned and he's here longer than me. Bloke has a gripe! He's got bites! The room is alright. It's clean to the eye. Don't drop something on the floor overnight! Me mum is crippled and morally I'm not comin back. If they do him this lovely, and I have bugs, it ain't right. Come for sleep, leave for clean.
