Obviously the Best place in the Dhaka city to hangout with Family. Situated in the almost center of the Dhaka city in a corner of the old Airport. Entry fee is 50 taka only and inside various riders are there for those you have to pay separately. After entering you can see a large green filed where children can run and play endlessly. But the main attraction of this place would be the old aircraft of Bangladesh air force. Various kinds of air crafts are there for exhibition. And don't miss the small amusement park where various kind of animal statue are there. Also there is a mini train ride which is very enjoyable with family

The Bangladesh Air Force was officially formed on 28 September 1971 consisting of the revolting Bengali officers and airmen of the Pakistan Air Force at Dimapur of Nagaland, India and it was launched formally by flying three repaired vintage aircraft on 8 October 1971.BAF's initial personnel were Bengali members of the Pakistan Air Force who were stationed in East Pakistan at the outbreak of the war and who deserted to the Bangladeshi side.At that time, the embryo of Bangladesh Air Force BAF was formed with less than a hundred officers and a handful of airmen and warrant officers. A significant number of BAF personnel participated in the Bangladesh War of Independence

The Air Force Museum in Bangladesh is situated right next to the Agargaon Metro Rail station. It is a fascinating place to visit. It's filled with old and new airplanes, showing how the country's air force has grown over the years. As I stepped into the museum, I was greeted by an impressive display of aircraft and artifacts. You can learn about the brave pilots and the important missions they've been part of. From vintage planes to modern fighter jets, each describes the technological advancements and the bravery of the pilots who have served the nation. The museum provides detailed information about the role of the air force in various conflicts and peacekeeping missions. It also offers valuable insights into Bangladesh's military heritage. There are cool signboards and displays that let you feel like you're flying. Most importantly it's easy to get to because it's near the Agargaon Metro station. I think its is the best place for children in Dhaka. If you're interested in airplanes and the history of the Bangladeshi Air Force, this museum is a great place to check out!

Nice place to visit. If you're searching for a place for your kids where they can play and enjoy in an open place, it's highly recommended. There are different rides inside where you need to buy a ticket differently. There are toy train, marry go round, paddle boat, 4d movie and many other rides along with the historical airplane models in a natural environment. There are sculpture of animals which kids can enjoy. Just after the entrance gate, there is a mini zoo as well.

This museum has a rich collection of aircraft and equipment. One can visit to enrich their knowledge about the operations of the aircraft,a few of which were used in our Liberation War. Four different gallaries to present our Liberation War history and the aircraft. There is an amusement park for the kids at an affordable price. Recommended.

Any childhood dreams come to light here!! Yes this air force museum deserves five stars. Even a grown up man could find pleasure once this place. A big field covered with green grass turned into playground for kids who normally don’t get chance to roaming around with joy. Even I’ve found some family members sit on grass field putting mats on passing quality time. Some of Aro planes are open for visitors especially for kids to look in side which is realistic in features are intact. Need to purchase ticket to enter the museum and roaming each plane which may counter productive!! Only washrooms saying VIP is not allowed for visitors but VIP!!

A great place to visit with family, specially with kids. There is a open museum with aeroplane, fighter plane, helicopter etc. which were used by Bangladesh Air Force. There is an amusement park here with some rides mainly for kids. Also there is a open field. There are several food stalls inside the Museum. However, entry ticket and ride tickets price are quite high compare to Govt. parks/ museum.

Amazing place!💝💝 You can learn more about the Bangladesh Air Force from the museum. The environment is okay, but everyone needs a particular ticket for visiting inside a specific airplane, which is quite expensive. The authority should consider reducing the ticket prices for visiting aircraft.

If you love fighters airplanes, then it is a place for you. There are many fighter airplanes and helicopters which are real but not used today. There is also natural beauty, free space, flowers, sitting places that can be good in your mind. It’s a place where you can go with family and time spent. There are also food Canteen but those are not value for money. There is also an animal park which is as usual normal animals like cows, goats, chicken, heres, peacocks, birds etc.

One of the best specious, clean and evergreen place with a huge number of historic Aircraft and various parts of Aircraft. The nature and air is so pure that your body and eyes will be pleased. The most important part is you will know some significant history and information about the role and evolution of aircraft and air defence of second world war and specially the great Liberation War of 1971. If you are in Dhaka then you must visit this historical place with family friends and your loving one.

First of all this place is very very greenery. 50 taka ticket need to entry here. There are so many historical aircraft and it’s part. You can check the cockpit and can take picture of it. But you must pay for it. So many kids playing items and some for adults also. Almost all ride needs extra tickets. Kids friendly area. Kids enjoy here. Some restaurants available here. Price is almost same as outside. Avoid holiday visit if you don't like crowd.

A place where you can see historic planes. Idea is very good and as it is being managed by special force of Bangladesh, we can assume a safe place too. But recent experience is horrible. when you enter through the gate you'll immediately feel like a local busy market or Dhaka international trade fare because of all that shops. They are constantly calling to eat something from their shop. Almost half of the area is converted to commercial children play corner with some cheap rides. I mean WHY? This is not a children's park. Here children should come to know about history. They should see and enjoy the planes in display which are historic too. People will go there anyway, but this museum is being run by very poor management. Hope someday there will be a proper execution, what this was meant to be.

🏛Charmful place.Air Force Gallery to illustrate some memorable and historical photos. Liberation War Gallery: bring back to us the history of the liberation war🏛. !There is a gallery for showing medals and uniforms from different year. ¥The last one is the peacekeepers corner to demonstrate the value of Bangladeshi Soldiers in the International Arena. Apart from these there is a souvenir corner too where you can buy posters, mug, t shirts with the monogram of the National Air Force.

The Bangladesh Air Force came into being back in 1971 during the war of liberation. It is since then, that the amazing legacy was established. The Bangladesh Air Force Museum displays this journey and takes you through the acts of bravery as well as the lives of pilots who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the nation. Apart from just getting in touch with history of BAF, you will also learn a lot about the aviation industry. It should definitely be in the list of people who wish to get insights into the air forces of the world.

This is Bangladesh Air Force Museum. also knows as Biman Bahini Jadughor (বিমান বাহিনী জাদুর). Located at Agargaon Dhaka. It is worth visiting. One can come to know many things about Bangladesh Airforce. It can be reached by Public transport of the city. Entry fee is BDT 40/- (Adult), BDT 20/- (Child) & age below 5 no need fee. Lot of Fighter Plane are displayed. These Plane and helicopter are took part in the Freedom Fight in 1971. You can also see first Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Most peculiar thing is you will see park inside a park and you will be charged to enter that park. Mostly that park is for Children. I remember they called theme park. You can ride boat for 1hr for BDT 50/-. One thing is clear that they have maintained the park neat and clean. You can roam with a golf car which also cost BDT 50/- for 1 round.

Within its lofty interior, different phased out air craft and equipment have been kept including the aircraft those took part in our glorious Liberation War. Timetable: The Air force museum is open on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) from 2 PM to 8 PM. On weekends: it is open from 10 AM to 8 PM, Sunday is the day off for this area, so the museum is closed on Sundays. Entry fee: 30 Taka. The Gallery: There are four different galleries. These are: Air Force Gallery to illustrate some memorable and historical photos. Liberation War Gallery: bring back to us the history of the liberation war. There is a gallery for showing medals and uniforms from different year. The last one is the peacekeepers corner to demonstrate the value of Bangladeshi Soldiers in the International Arena. Apart from these there is a souvenir corner too where you can buy posters, mug, t-shirts with the monogram of the National Air Force. The previous history of BAF Museum: BAF Museum was established in 17 June 1987. At that time the museum was located in No-3 hanger of BAF Base Bashar, Dhaka cantonment. It was not open for public as we knew, just like the prison museum situated inside the Dhaka Central Jail. Once in a year on 16th December, there was a Military March held along with a three days long Army Weaponry Show. But now it is open for the public visitor. People are already started enjoying the place.

Amazing place. Many things to know.Especially about Muktijuddho. Many air crafts are here. Also good place for kids. The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী, romanized: Bangladesh Biman Bahini) is the aerial warfare branch of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The Air Force is primarily responsible for air defence of Bangladesh's sovereign territory as well as providing air support to the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy. Furthermore, the BAF has a territorial role in providing tactical and strategic air transport and logistics capability for the country.

This is an very good place👍 to hang out in dhaka. As a museum it’s also great! Natural view is very much refreshing. Open ground is good for playing and sitting on grass to get touch of soil. Overall It's good for enjoying with family and friends. There r some disavantage. Their price rate is high 👎. Security guards always keep rounding the place and interferes in couple's sitting, holding each other, which is totally disgusting👎👎👎😡😡. World has gone to modern age and they behave like we r living in middle age. Illiterate people😡😡... Rating: Architecture: 9/10 Food: 8/10 Service : 6/10 Price: 5/10

It's the best place in Dhaka city. recommended visiting with the pace of your family and kids. If the authority decreases the entry and ride ticket price it's better for everyone. I visit there recently and they increased the ride ticket price.

A number of aircraft are displayed here. There are also a couple of other amusement items are available. Good place for kids. People can get into some of the planes but tickets will be needed separately. Boat ride is available. Mini amusement park for children as well. So it will be a quality time spend with kids. Metro station is just along with the museum. So no tension for transport. Have a happy time.

The Bangladesh Air Force was formed officially on 28th September, 1971 and the Force was officially launched on 8th October, 1971, by flying three vintage aircrafts, after necessary repairing. The force consisting rebellion bengali soilders and airmen of the pakistani air force, at Dimapur of the Nagaland state of India. And to showcase the Air Force Army's history and importance this Musueam was found. It's rich, significant and diverse collection of aircrafts, remainings of destroyed aircrafts, bombs, weaponary and other equipments give us a detail knowledge about Bangladesh's Aerial Evolution. It's purpose to preserving and showcasing the history of Bangladesh Air force is very much praiseworthy and that's why it's a must visit place for all Aviation buffs and History Enthusiasts. Besides that, there is a mini zoo, many food shops, children's rides located in the park. And as the entry fee of this museum is 50 taka only, it is a budget friendly place too.

A museum from the air force of Bangladesh. Many old planes are displayed at this place with description. Also have a lot of open space to roam. Good place for kids. Ticket price is a little bit high. They don't allow cigarettes and gaslight or matches to take inside. They also don't have a locker or place to keep those things. So, if you have cigarettes you just have to throw it away. Disgusting.

In the museum you can see the old aircraft which was used in 1971 during the war between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Inside the museum area there is a mosque, restaurant and public washroom facilities. The museum is very net and clean. Its a good place to explore for both adult and children's.

The environment inside is very beautiful and a perfect place to spend time with family. There are facilities in the bathroom, there are parking facilities. Ticket prices are very limited.

    (Translated by Google) I visited it four or five years after it was launched. It will get five out of five stars by the standard of Bangladesh. There are various types of out of service general aircraft, military aircraft, general helicopters, military helicopters, radar, missiles, etc. There are also beautiful sites and sculptures to explore. Inside the park, there is a separate boundary and another mini park which has to be ridden with money for the electric ride inside. The aircraft, displayed in the main park, can be seen circling inside many of the helicopters. He has to buy a separate ticket. One only has to buy a ticket from the main entrance to tour the entire park without entering the mini park or boarding any aircraft or helicopters. The aircraft displayed inside the park can also be seen in front of the helicopters for free but they cannot be entered. One of the major anomalies of the park is that despite being a military museum in Bangladesh, it sells packaged food from its inside stores at a higher price than most retail prices. I mean the ghost in the mustard! Where the military is a symbol of honesty and justice, food is being unfairly sold at exorbitant prices within their organization.

The place is over rated, I have seen lots of miss management there. Ticket cost to view the cockpit too expensive, boat rental service is also not cost efficient. You have to pay to use their washroom, I think it should be free for the visitors as the entrance is not free; they are charging 50 taka per person for entrance, toilet service should be free, even though washrooms are not hygienic at all. The boat rental service is not good, they count per person 50 taka but it should be per boat 100 taka, even they charge it for only 10 minutes and most of the boat padels are broken. I would like to highlight these issues to the management, they should decrease the ride cost so people will go very frequently.

Almost every decommissioned aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force is displayed there. You can get inside majority of the aircrafts with tickets including 3 of the aircrafts used in our Liberation War. The place is quite and beautiful. You can bring your family here. A huge kids zone is inside the museum. Lots of interesting rides are there including a gaming zone. I'd definitely recommend to visit there at least once.

Nice experience. Beautiful place in the city to spend some quality time with you family. There are 2 sections in it, one is the air force museum, another is ride park for kids and adults. The entry fee is 50/- for the museum. Different rides have different fees, but all of them are very cheap price. Rides are good and fun as well. Washroom and mosques are also there. If you want to buy any souvenir, then there’s a shop for you. Overall, I spent a good holiday afternoon in the BAF Museum. Just remember, it's closed on Sunday, open in every other day from 2 pm to 6 pm.

was situated in No-3 holder of BAF Base Bashar, Dhaka cantonment. It was not open for the general population as we were already aware, much the same as the jail exhibition hall arranged inside the Dhaka Central Jail. Once in a year on the sixteenth December, there was a Military March held alongside three days in length Army Weaponry Show. Be that as it may, presently it is open for the open guest. Individuals are as of now begun getting a charge out of the spot. Ticket Price of Bangladesh Air Force Museum: Entry fee: 50 Taka per person. Bangladesh Air Force Museum Opening Hour: Monday- Saturday: 02.00 Pm to 08.00 Pm. Friday: 10.00 Am to 08.00 Pm.
