Undoubtedly, this is one of the most beautiful place to Dhaka to hangout and unfortunately a few of a Kind left. After the Renovation, this Park has been a haven for all sorts of people. For those who want breath of fresh air, those who want to play work out, play Basketball, read books ( Yes they have now bookworm over here) in serenity, those who want to enjoy the nature peacefully over a cup of coffee ( Yes they have north end inside now) . The amphitheatre is a great place to hold small events as well. Looks like a perfect place to come not only alone but also with peers and family members. A serene peaceful place in the busy and overcrowded Dhaka. We need more places like this in Dhaka.

I visited the park yesterday. The park is very spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of greenery and flowers. There are also many facilities for children, such as playgrounds. The park staff were friendly and helpful, and the restrooms were clean and accessible. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and affordable outing.

A tranquil park with a serene environment. Good for playing or doing exercises and most importantly walking. An overall nice establishment to spend quality time close to nature. Also, there is a coffee shop, bookstore, and a seating area in the middle of a field behind the lake, all in all, the perfect arrangement to spend a peaceful evening.

Justice Shahabuddin Park is an idyllic place for every age which is situated in Gulshan 2. Although it has a small area. However, You will find a one-way walking path and if you want to do cycling, you will also find a one-way cycle route around the park. In addition, there is a basketball playground. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends and for people who live around Gulshan 2.

I think Shahabuddin Ahmed park is the best park in Dhaka city. If you go there alone you can enjoy yourself because this place is very calm and peaceful. The greenery scenario just peace of eyes. They have library, coffee house etc. Moreover it’s a perfect place to spend a quality time.

It's a very nice place to have some relaxing time there. One can easily hang over his/her stress of a busy hectic day there. The most important fact is that authority doesn’t allow hawkers to enter. So one can spend quality without any disturbance. There’s only 1 stall for refreshment (Only tea is available in some varieties). But milk tea is delicious, one can try.

This park is near Gulshan 2 circle. A very beautiful park with eye soothing green. Just after entering the park, you will feel that you are in a completely different place. Nice, neat and clean. Most importantly, it is a secured one. This is not a very spacious park. A circle like one and finishes when you give it a round. In the middle of the park, there is a big pond and walking space is around this pond. There is also sitting space around the pond. There’s only a tea stall in the park and no other food court. No hawkers are allowed inside.From the main entry gate, you will be able to buy water. And if you want to have dry snacks like nuts, you have to carry on your own. Sometimes just beside the main gate, you will have peanut selling hawker. There is a mosque, gym and restroom facility. Also there’s a basketball ground just beside the main entry gate. Good part of this park is, you can sit in this park alone or with your friend group and there will be no one to disturb you. Very family friendly park. Ideal for walking in the morning and afternoon or just you know sitting idly because you want to have some ME time. The park stays open in the evening as well. So next time you are bored alone, and you live nearby, do give a visit here in the afternoon. Take a cup of tea from the tea stall and enjoy sitting and watching as the dusky evening comes. Or if you are not alone, take your friends or family members to have a walk there. They will surely like it.

A fairly good-sized park smack in the middle of an ever-busy and ever-noisy Gulshan. It is pretty well laid out, with a walking path going around a fairly large water body. And the landings, observation points, and seating arrangements around that water body are adequate and well-made, where visitors can relax and soak in the view. The two bright spots in this park are a bookstore and a coffee place, both of which attract a sizeable number of visitors. However, there isn't much, or any variety in this park, in terms of plants, trees and vegetation. I wish the planners had paid a little more attention to that. Overall, however, it is a good spot for a visit to relax and rejuvenate.

This is by far the coolest place in dhaka. Found this place on a random drive through one day. And been in love with it ever since. Dhaka doesn't have that many parks which are genuinely clean and well designed. The infrastructure is designed to be cool and functional. From the seating areas to the water drinking station everything feels next gen.

It was really soothing just being there, looking at the sky. Would be better with some stars on. After the sun set though, couples started pouring in and pampering. Okay but might not be appropriate for kids. So heads up. But the breeze was cool. Time flew there. Good for some escape from Reality.

Amidst the lash green park there is a specious walkway, a bicycle track,a watch tower,toilet facilities, prayer area and a basketball court. There is a designated are for a library which is not functional yet. Drinking water faucets available. Found the watch tower locked. It is a nice place for a morning walk or an evening stroll. I will give it a five star once the Library & food corner is functional.

It has a long walk area, parallel cycle lane inside the park, decent gym equipments, basketball area, open stage area, pond side walk area, book reading for bookworms, quite a stunning view all around. And best of all everything is for free of cost and general access for everyone. Big thanks to Gulshan 2 society and everyone involved.

This is the best public park in Dhaka. It is still getting more additions. Lovely place to jog,walk and chill out. There is full security and CCTV camera so no need to be worried. Its in Gulshan 2, near Australian high commission office and Bangladesh International Tutorial School. Environment is good, park space good for walking, having seat for rest. Roads are width, security also good, some english medium schools near this park area.

This park right here is a hidden gem in Dhaka city. It's a place of peace and serenity in the midst of the mad chaos of the busy capital. The park has been renovated very recently, and it can serve as a model for the rest of the parks in Dhaka. All the trees and greenery were kept in tact which is very praiseworthy. They've built a bicycle track around the perimeter which is really well built and a fresh addition to the usual landscape of Dhaka city parks. There's an open full-size basketball court, badminton court, children's play zone, an amphitheatre by the lake, and a walkway kissing the banks of the lake. There's a spacious prayer hall, a gymnasium space and they even have a big space for a library as well! (As of Jan 2021, the library hasn't started to operate yet). You can also avail drinking water here, with separate basins for the young and the adult. I hope the park remains well maintained in the future. Great job by DNCC (Dhaka North City Corporation)!

As a park quit medium size and well organized, clean. In this size there are play zone, basketball zone, kids zone, library, food area. And the tiny pond view with sitting area people seem to enjoy a lot.

It's a public park. The park is mid sized, having areas for basketball, football, etc. with a small lake and a proper running and walking track. They also have a bookstore on site. There is a separate area for working out. The park hosts many small events on weekends, which can be enjoyed by all ages. The park is very family friendly, there is a separate space for kids playing area. Overall, the park has much to offer for residents and those from neighboring areas who may want to use the park for recreational activities.

It is awesome. With North End and Book Worm and the nice little tea stall it is just fabulous. Walk way is great. It is spacious and green. Very good place to walk, cycle, exercise, run or sit idly. The bathroom facility needs some improvement though. Also the mosque doesn’t accommodate women. In a place like Gulshan this is sad actually. Shows how inconvenient the country is for women to go about, go out of home. I hope next time I visit it, there will be a place for women inside the mosque.

What an atmosphere! This kinda atmosphere is rare in the parks of Bangladesh. Artificial fountain is the center of attraction. Adding cycle lane was an outstanding idea no doubt. There's also a beautiful place for prayer. Overall here you can see a perfect match of nature and modern architecture .

It's beautiful. Only, it might not be a place for lone girls. I was snapping pictures with my brother on an extension of the bridge over the pond when a dozen guys or so strutted closer to us and blocked our path left and right, acting like cringe, taking photos, striking god-awful poses and showing off in every way possible. Two of them had the nerve, since there's no patrolling security, to stand next to me on the pretex of getting a good selfie. We were trapped but I glared at one guy until he was creeped out and made space for us to get out of there. So, my advice is to not go alone unless you're capable of handling these kinda people.

It was a really pretty park. It was my first time there and the park was very nicely and well light up during the Night. It is very neat and clean from what i could see myself and an overall beautiful place would love to go ocassionally

Beautifully renovated with jogging tracks, bike paths and playgrounds. The built structures need proper signages and maintenance though, one star is gone there. Another star is removed due to the “necessary evil”—presence of police in the premises. Dhaka is probably the only city where you will find a police camp inside a park.

A beautiful mid-size park in northern part of Gulshan, it's a very secure, well-maintained place with a big pond in the middle. It has a walking track as well as a cycling track but very few cyclist around. It has a basketball & badminton courts. A geographic datum of the Survey of Bangladesh is situated on the Eastern side. Many benches scattered around the park. Quite a nice ampitheater on the Northern end. A wooden walkway protruding over the lake & surrounding it makes pleasant to saunter or walk. There is even a mosque & a watch-tower. A good place for exercise or spend some time with friends & family.

The park's center had a declining pond which has been revived with adjoined walkways and decks. A green amphitheater and a stage by the lake serve as a cultural platform. To enhance neighborhood engagement, a community library, prayer space, women’s seating zone, a small gym, a play yard, and an exercise yard have been incorporated into the design. The children’s spaces have passive playing equipment and parents seating provisions. The design was implemented to ensure public participation, to bring community people into public space, promote walkability and cycling towards improving health and well-being. It is Urban park with tropical vegetation, plus paved paths & wooden walkways around a pond.

Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed park located in the heart of gulshan area near gulshan 2. Its a public parl run by Dhaka north city corporation. People comes here for walking in nature, exercise, to spend leisure time and obviously for gossiping. Its also famous for photography. It consists of a lot of trees, seating bench, a coffeshop and library named bookworm. Love this place and its vibe.

Just beautiful nature, play zone for kids, gym equipment for adults outside, a basketball court, and a coffee shop, book store available inside. Park entry is free for all. Truly recommended.

My favorite park for my walks. Peaceful and less crowded than the other park in Gulshan. Even on hot days you often feel a breeze on your face as the paths, shaded by trees, spiral around a large pond. Cycling track and a small children's playground, which looks it could do with a bit more care & greenery, are noticeable features. In recent months, the clever addition of the North End Cafe & Book Worm are inviting more people there.

This Park is very good place for walking and spent time... This park is very clean and there are lot of option for doing exercise.. And the environment of the park is very nature friendly.... There are also tea stall and coffee shop here.

Wonderful park with a lot of amenities. It has an amphitheater, a gymnasium, a book shop (Bookworm), a coffee (Northend) and a tea stall, a mosque, a separate space for women, a basketball court and a Kid's Zone. The security of the area has been beefed up with 25 CCTV cameras.

Good and safe place for your walking space through the greens. North end, book shop inside, plenty of sitting space, there's a pond too, kids playing zone. Just a downside, too much mosquitoes at the evening, even in daylight mosquito are common (but not that much like the evening).

It was planned a long time ago, but due to daily life, I wasn't able to visit. I thought it would be as simple as other parks. However, it chramed my thoughts. It's a special cycle and walking lane, art theater, kids zone, books store, gym, volleyball, and many more. Thanks, DNCC.
