Gulshan lake is a reputed place inside Dhaka City. It is a connected lake of Shahjadpur, Gulshan, Badda. People are using this lakeside for passing throughout Gulshan-1 & Gulshan-2 and Shahjadpur area.

The lake is elongated in a north-south direction and surrounded mainly by residential areas and some industrial units as well. The lake is fragmented into four parts by culvert type structures. Openings of such structures appear to be very insufficient for free flow of water among different parts of the lake.

nice view, but water has dust. side of lake has nice road for walk. moreover air of morning is mind blowing, you can morning walk here everyday after salah.

Plan was visionary to make the city especially Banani and Gulshan a nice one. There is walk way both side of the lake. Initially the lake was looking gorgeous but due to worst management the wonderful lake is now full of moscato with nasty water.

A very soothing place. Has walkway all around the lake and has a park like place also . The water is mostly clean and the lake is kind of long compared to other lakes in dhaka .. near gulshan 2 the water is more clean . In the gulshan 1 you can have boat ride and travel to rampura to avoid traffic in busy time . While walking around the lake keep an eye on the lake to see some turtles they are cute . And the place near hatirjhil is very nice to spent some time with family and friends..

Midium size lake, good view during monsoon but terrible smell during summer.

It's a great place to have some walking and gossiping around the lake. But when It's time to end office hour it’s been a little crowded. There’s also a boat jetty which helping the office going people to ride in carwanbazar. Also people of all class enjoy the boat ride. It’s a lovely place to hang around with friend & family.
