This is a very well known & popular lake which pass through banani to gulshan area. The lake became narrow within last few years. However, authority took some necessary steps to reform this lake again. This lake looks beautiful in the evening & morning time when the air is cool & lots of people visit this place with their friends and family also enjoy the sunset & sunrise.

I used to love to come to this lake but now it is a place where you really dont want to be. I have shared the video as it was raining and the nature was looking gorgeous. May be after few years when the concern department finish their work and bring back the lake in reality to see would be a great place to hang around. During my childhood this lake was beautiful and now everyone use this lake as dustbin. Hope the work will finish soon.

Banani lake is not a lake now. The construction of this lake is going on. There is a bridge which linked gulshan and banani. There is some animal statue where childrens can play or take photo with it. The crowd increase in the evening. There are some hawkers also. It is a nice place to chat with friends or evening walk.
