It's a Gem! The location, central. The rooms, bright, really clean and airy. The staff, friendly. Check-in and out seamless. And if you manage to stay when the pub is open, the food is delicious and the trad session is by far one of the better ones you'll find around town. And as an added bonus, the building is steeped in history. Highly recommended

Lovely Irish pub. Quaint inside, one of the nicest pubs in town however a pint of Guinness at €6.30 is too high. I understand costs have gone up recently etc but for Guinness to be the drink of Ireland, it's too high. Tourists will of course pay this price but as a local, it's robbery. Locals should have a different price to tourists full stop.€5.00-€5.60 is reasonable for Guinness. I've seen other pubs do cheaper pints before 7 o'clock. One even doing under five euro. It's a shame because it's such a nice pub.

Stopped here on way to BG Theatre. Staff were friendly. The food not great. Cheeseburger and fries arrived not hot and barely warm . Lacked flavour , the chips looked like frozen variety deep fried. The salad unappetising. The problem with these experiences is not so much you wasted your money but more you wasted an opportunity to enjoy a meal . This place is not terrible but not of a good standard for food . More a place for pints in a pleasant environment.

Came here for a late lunch with my family and we really enjoyed it! I had the ham and cheese toastie and the soup of the day. I also had one of the best pints of Guinness that I’ve had in Ireland! Definitely recommend a stop here if you’re in need of a quick and cheap lunch!

Wonderful service, friendly barkeeps, amazing fish and chips... Some of the very best I've had! Also a plus that the Guinness was right on point. I tremendously enjoyed this pub after a long bus ride to Dublin.

Stumbled across this pub as it was close to our hotel. Lovely atmosphere and great food. I had the cauliflower curry which was absolutely banging! My friend had the stew and finished every bit so she must have enjoyed it. The staff provided excellent service. Great pub if you want a nice traditional pub vibe without loud music and huge crowds.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Dublin. Rooms and bathrooms are very nice. And very clean. Situated perfectly just a few minutes walk from the temple bar area. It's surprisingly quiet considering it's location. The Pub itself is Great. Didn't try the food but I did have MANY Guinness and dare I say the best in Dublin. Very friendly staff even if I was an Englishman in an Irish pub! Will definitely be back for a few more Guinness in the future!

And old stomping ground from university days in Dublin, not changed much other than much better food now. Worth a visit if you want a less tourist orientated old pub experience. I've not stayed in accommodation to comment.

O’Neills provides a much more authentic experience than staying in a generic hotel. Modern conveniences are of course available, but in many ways, you feel like you’re stepping back in time and staying in the guest rooms of an old Irish pub (which of course is exactly what is happening). The food and service at the pub downstairs are both excellent. When you go, make sure to say hello to Ciaran behind the bar.

Nice pub to go out with friends. Food is tasty and portions are big enough. I didn't like the constant check from the waiters. I know that could be appreciable for someone, but I felt monitored and somehow invaded in my space, especially when one of the waiters gave me "tips" on how to eat my food. Anyway, I think it's a good place to hang out with friends and family, having beer and eat something.

Nice place. Dark inside with lots of nooks and crannies to disappear in for a quiet chat and a drink. Good food menu with table service. Nice pint of Guinness. This is definitely an old pub in the traditional Irish sense. It feels like it hasn't changed in 100 years. Good location near pearse street train station also and a stones throw from trinity college.

Have dined here a few times and the food and drinks have always been fabulous, had the fish and chips for dinner today with the banana fritters for desert, divine! Speedy friendly service and warm Irish atmosphere. Would definitely recommend popping in for food and drinks if you’re looking for a stellar pub in Dublin.

Had a meal here recommended by our excellent waiter Johnny. Seated and served very quickly. He helped me decide on the bangers and mash and even gave me an extra potion of gravy. Worth a visit for nice comforting food.

Popped in for early dinner while waiting to catch the train. Nice ambience and toilets. Good tasty burger and chips. Good Guinness. However, the non Irish staff could really do with some customer service training. They stand behind the bar chatting to each other, not aware of customers. A smile would go a long way. I'm local but we, and tourists, expect cheerful, friendly staff especially in the city centre where prices are not cheap.

The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds comfy. There were issues with the wifi, but the facility was looking into it the problem. Be aware that there are stairs as soon as you enter, nothing on the ground floor. There is a kitchen area to make coffee and tea on the main floor. It is a good location and you need a code to enter the facility. The pub had great food. Friendly staff. Had a few issues with the room, but they were addressed in a timely fashion. I would stay here again

From the moment we were found by Ciaran the Manager who took our bags off us and stored, to the time we left - impeccable service! The rooms were very clean, comfortable, quaint, cosy, roomy!! Highly recommend this pub and guesthouse. Bar staff just great, dinner delicious, great shower, walking distance to Grafton Street and city!

My friend and I stayed here while we were in London. It's very conveniently located right across the street from waterloo station. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Bear in mind that you will have to carry your bags upstairs. Their breakfast was excellent and not to be missed. I plan on staying here every time I come to London.

I'm glad we stayed at O'neills for our city trip to Dublin. Good location, nice pub, good food, friendly staff and clean rooms. I was afraid it was a bit noisy because off the busy street, but i didn't hear a thing.

This is a one of the classic old pubs in Dublin and always worth a visit, the staff are great, some of them there for years and pour a lovely Guiness. The snugs are great for going for a pint with a few friends and the trad sessions going mid week are superb, always a mix of different musicians which keeps it fresh, what more do ya want from a pub (oh, it’s good value by city centre standard)

I am so glad I found this place; the vibe is classic and cool and cozy! The location is perfect with so much good stuff walkable. The room is comfy and the breakfast space is ideal. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I will be recommending this place to anyone stopping through Dublin.

Nice and clean, very near to every place in centre of Dublin. Bed comfortable and room warm, clean with a good smell. I give only 4 star because check in and pub are closed on Sunday and Monday, and because there is no sign to where are the rooms ( a little sign indicated which way to go would be appreciated)

This is a delightful place which is, unfortunately, rarely open qua pub alone. There's a cute working fireplace, ideal during winter.
