The front faces the road so there is no silence during most of the night. There is also a pub at the corner of the building with quite loud live music and singing until the midnight. The windows are old-fashioned wooden ones with little noise protection so if you are after a good sleep it's not your hotel. Other than that the hotel is an usual one for two stars to stay in it. The room we got was a decent one, clean and comfortable for our basic needs. I suggest replacing the front windows with better ones.

Fairly clean in room 21. The lamps are old. The red foot covers we're gross and dirty. Overall quiet and clean a place to sleep. If your looking for lavish go somewhere else. If you arrive early stay at the airport til 12 noon can't check in any earlier.

This hotel is very basic, but it's a great place if you don't plan on spending too much time in the hotel. They actually hold on to your key for you when you leave, so there's no chance of losing it which I loved. We had a room on the first floor against the road, and as long as the window is closed it's really not loud. The only time I woke up from noise is when large amounts of people returned from the bars, but it didn't really bother me. The wifi also works very well!!

Just a simple hotel. Found some bugs on the pillows and the clearness was average. Our room was on the 3Rd floor, no elevator! It was the cheapest we could find for that period but I wouldn't visit it again. On the plus side the location was good.

I even don't know where to start. We reserved the room by phone and they needed the credit card number. Mine didn't work multiple times and we had to try another card number. At arrival I payed the room with the one which didn't work before and it suddenly worked again. Strange. Then the staff was not very friendly. The room is not clean at all and we had to get the receptionist to clean the bathroom. You also can't open the window to let fresh air in (probably some strange safety measure). Noise from the hallway can be heard very well in the room. Also, WiFi is not really usable and extremly slow - don't even try it. Even for EUR 90 for 3 people it is too expensive but it was the only offer in that price range for this night. Fortunately we only stay 1 night.

Rooms are decent but a bit outdated. Everything was clean and well tidied. Shower was very small. Water taps were dripping and it took very long for the toilet to fill. Location is really good and would be the top reason to book this.

Dirty, noisy, shower barely worked, paper thin walls meant neighboring guests kept us awake til 3am one night. Most worrying was the fact that someone (not a guest) was found sleeping outside our room at 2am by a member of staff, resulting in a noisy and unpleasant sounding confrontation. It felt unsafe after that. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, regardless of price.

A lot smaller than the pictures you see, the bed was really uncomfortable. They came in and made our bed every morning, however in our entire 4 day stay they didn’t once change the sheets, or change the bins. Instead, they swapped the empty bin on the bathroom with the full bin in the bedroom. The shower was also dirty. The WiFi is unreliable at times and the rooms heating is on constantly “which can be good if it’s a cold night but to be fair with being on the 3rd floor the heat rises from other rooms making it at time uncomfortable and adds to the claustrophobic sense you get from the rooms” how ever Gardiner Lounge next door looks fantastic and was a bit of a reminder every night of what you were missing out on “let’s have a look at what you could have won” type of feel to your break away from work. Breakfast was also a let down. For €7.95 your options were limited. The service wasn’t good either, the woman was stood in the back room and we had to ask for service stood at what seemed to be a cupboard door. For what you got on a cooked breakfast. It was very minimal and not too great, also potion sizes were some what if a farce but fortunately there is SoMa which you must try around the corner which for the better deal and fantastic in service “best eating out when regarding this over priced budget service hotel”. Probably good for a one day stay if you aren’t too fussed. But anything more and it’s not value for money.

I stayed in this hotel on Dec 20th. I had some reservations as the price was so low but I had a really good experience. I arrived late as my flight was delayed but the receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable with en suite and no noise. Breakfast was buffet and hot meal so really substantial and staff were lovely. Location is amazing, 2 mins from O'Connell Street. A great experience for the price.

The hotel room was average. A lot of street noise but that was to be expected since it was on a major road. No hot water in bathroom sink but the shower was fine since it had its own point of use water heater. Had to keep reprogramming the TV to get the limited amount of cable channels to come in. The bed was fairly comfortable. The pub in the lobby was quaint and quite and the locals were very nice and personable as well as the bar manager. I would suggest putting a mini fridge or microwave in the room. It would be a nice convince for the guests.

It's grand. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Two blocks from O'Connell Street. Close to bus and Luas links. The only fault is we had room to front of hotel and you could hear the traffic passing.

My partner and I stayed here in March 2015. Due to it being the quiet season we were given a family room at no extra cost. The room was in a quiet corner on the ground floor. Only once in our 5 night stay did we hear any outside noise from the pub below. Hotel was well located close to O'Connell street and the main attractions of the city. Would recommend during the off-peak season.
