We've been to Ireland four times, and this was the worst place we've ever stayed. My mom and I just stayed here for one night before heading to Galway. The room seemed stuffy but ok at first. Then we experienced the bathroom. It reeked of mildew and mold. It was so bad, we finally gave up at 6 in the morning, packed, and left quickly. The walls are also super thin and there was no way to contact anyone when the parade of elephants had a party from midnight to 3am.

Pretty nice hotel 🛍️, the receptionist is very nice, I mean, they are always trying to do the best for it's hotel, and that the type of work that everyone's looking for. Also, it's on a very, very good location, you can go to Phoenix Park 🏞️, it's very big🤩. Also, you've got Heuston Station near, many shops, restaurant, pubs and bars near. The rooms are pretty nice, I think the lights can be better, especially the common light 🕯️, that's all. The baths aren't big but aren't small, they've got a shower 🚿 that's easy to control 🎛️. Booked this hotel for 1 night while in Dublin a couple of weeks ago. It cost €330 for a twin room for 1 night which is really expensive. The location was a 20 minute walk along the river into the city centre which was easy to navigate. The room was basic but had a good shower and basic facilities for making tea and coffee. Single bed was comfortable and felt safe in this particular area.

Stayed for 1 night here. The bed was very comfy and the duvet was lovely. The room was fine and the bathroom was very clean. However, the hotel itself good do with being cleaner, lots of dust and cobwebs. They are renovating it but all the more reason to keep the carpet on the staircases well vacuumed. Otherwise it was nice place to stay for a night as it's really close to the train station.

Shocking! Had the radiator on in the middle of summer. Melting. Not one socket in room for plugs, the lamp was just in the middle of the beds not plugged in as there was literally no sockers for kettle, chargers etc. The whole place was dark and musty, false advertising on website, it is not suitable for hospital patients as said. The facilities are very bad, pillows are cheap and old. Shower had no pressure it was like mist, either roasting or freezing. Staff were helpful but i would never stay here again.

My friend and I stayed here for a concert that we had at Kilmainham Royal Hospital. The location was within short walking distance from the venue, Heuston station and Dublin Zoo so this was very convenient for us. Only 20 minute walk or 5 minute luas journey to the city too. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. Coffee/tea, shampoo, soap and a very comfortable bed. Price was very reasonable for a hotel in Dublin. The receptionist ( young man, didn’t get his name) was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and other amenities. He even held our bags for us past check out so we could explore the city without having to drag them around with us. He was extremely kind and welcoming to us from the get go. To sum up, this hotel is great for location, staff and comfort. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 5/5

I booked a twin room for one night. The room was very clean and had all the basic necessities. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in, we both had a great night's sleep. The rate for the room was good for a basic room in Dublin. The location is brilliant, a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 12 minute walk from Dublin Zoo. The receptionist was extremely helpful and even held our bags for us after we checked out so we didn't need to carry them with us while we did our activities for the day before our journey home. I would definitely stay again.

Room is small very small. Very noisy. Can hear everything from next room if they close their door mine would shake (very annoying) when we came tv and light weren’t working they were fixed but broke again next day. Very annoying green alarm light flashing all night on the ceiling. On a positive note the bed was comfy shower was great and staff were nice especially the housekeepers It’s close to all amenities 30 minutes walk to city centre!

$350 a night for dirty sheets. If the service was decent, it might be okay. Secondly, for how far out of the city center you are, the location is remarkable noisy.

Our room shared a wall with an actual night club.. pumping music and bass that literally vibrated the bed.. until 6am! With bottles thrown into a bin every 10 mins right outside the window. So a hotel room where no human could possibly sleep. It was actual torture! No warning from staff, who knew I was with my elderly mother. We had to insist on moving. Why they would put anyone in that room is outrageous, and disgusting that they would even take money for that room. The rooms were very basic too. F this hotel and the staff.

Booked in the day before for one night for two people and paid upfront as directed. Staff at reception extremely helpful and friendly in helping friend get documents downloaded and printed, working on them for long periods of time until they got it all sorted for her which left her happy. Twin room, as hotel, was spotless if basic with lovely ensuite and very comfortable beds. Tea/coffee facilities there. Ground floor room was a slightly difficult to access due to two short flights of stairs ( due to mobility aid) and receptionist offered to get an alternative room but we declined, managing the stairs with his help. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended it. Also easily located and beside the Phoenix Park

I am shocked that anyone would review this hotel in a positive manner. Staff was nice enough but the rest is absolutely horrible. Smells horrible, can hear everything from rooms next to you and street (banging all through the early morning, poorly maintained. Avoid this place and it is not worth the cheaper price.

Central location. There is a spar nearby for necessities. The chap at the reception was very helpful, provided iron (I had travelled for some work). Lift available. My only learning point was to ask for a quieter room in the future esp if u have to wake up early for work. Street noise mostly from traffic outside. Apart from that good.

Smell down stairs rooms were way to warm and not worth the price they charged. No proper breakfast just basic.

Nice, cozy, quaint, worth it. Ignore the bad reviews. This gets some bad reviews, it should not! Family owned business. Guy Let us see the rooms before. There was no loud music. Open the windows as soon as we got in, there's no air conditioning. Not that you need it. Nice continental breakfast croissants coffee in a coffee pot American style. Near the park walking distance, nice neighbourhood looks older but good. 🤗🌞

Such a delightful experience I had staying here. The rooms are spacious and cozy . The bathroom is also spacious unlike most city center hotels which feel really cramped. There are good options of restaurants around the corner and the city center is not that far.will definitely go back here.

Expected a lot more for 250 EUR x Night. Plenty of better options at better rates……. On a positive note, it was quiet…….no loud music like some of the other reviewers say.

Only problem we have experienced is the fact that breakfast isn't available until 8am. Not helpful when you are meeting a plane arriving at half 8.

Great place. Its on the outskirts of the city's about 20 mins walk to the centre of the city, it about 5 mins walk from the train station so it very convenient Stuff were great very friendly and so accommodation they were more then happy to let us leave out bags in there luggage storage room after we checked out so we could explore the city without the weight of the bags, Breakfast is light but there enough to get you going

Can't fault the location. The rooms ain't the best but it's a bed and a clean one at that. The staff are hit and miss but generally OK to deal with

1/5 Shocked that this place has positive reviews. We were due to stay for a stag do in May 2020. Covid rules meant that we couldn't travel from England. We tried numerous times to contact the hotel to cancel our booking but nobody ever answered the phone and any emails were met with a deafening silence. I have tried to contact them several times since with no success. Avoid like the plague. Disgraceful customer service.

The employees are kind and flexible, and the price was not too high. I can recommend this place.

Very good place, lovely and kind staff, and it's as quiet as possible considering it's close to the center of Dublin city

As stated in previous reviews, this hotel is small, cheap and cheerful. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving directions etc, the room was clean but a bit bare, bathroom had a musty smell. The room wasn't refreshed over our 3 night stay so no fresh towels or top-up of tea, coffee, toilet roll etc. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. Location was excellent with pubs and takeaways in the same street. Hotel very accommodating for bringing food back as their restaurant was not serving food. I would stay again on a budget trip but don't think the lack of finer details would please a lot of people.

The staff were really kind and helpful. I understand they just opened back up and times are hard. Great location, we only travelled from the other side of the city but love the phoenix park and the pubs beside the hotel. This hotel has so much potential and it will get back up and running. There is a great team in this hotel and we wish you all the best. Thanks again

The hotel is located right next to Phoenix Park which is stunning for a morning walk or an afternoon run. The hotel staff was super helpful, polite and friendly. The rooms are nice and tidy. You will have a good stay here!

Phoenix park hotel is ok for a quick visit to Dublin. The facilities are good enough for a quiet sleep. The rooms are small but cozy and warm. As many other places in Dublin, don't leave any money or wallets in the room while you are out. The location is ideal for jumping into the Phoenix park or getting into city centre. Also it is just around the corner from Huston train station and the Guinness Storehouse. I recommend it.

Top notch for the price. Nothing fancy but it was inexpensive. Shower had good pressure, had individual shampoo and soap instead if those horrible dispensers. Also had tea/coffee making stuff. Street noise was a little loud, if a light sleeper ask for opposite side away from it. Me, I slept like the dead so no major biggie for me. Reception staff were nice if a little inexperienced but we live in covid times so that's perfectly fine.
