Lively air around. They are crazy busy, so even the meals came in the slow side, it is still efficacy meal and services. I love everything they served me, whatever it is. ♥️

One of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. Truly unique experience to visit. The food they serve is good but not exceptional. Their gheimeh was the best out of everything we ordered. Their service was terrible though. Everything took very long they were not attentive at all and they mentioned that they had run out of one of the orders after almost an hour of taking the order which is not acceptable.

Namakdan is THE place for a real traditional persian restaurant in Esfahan! If you want a time travel back to the old persian days with traditional music, food and atmosphere, you HAVE to visit Namakdan. We are Iranians from Germany and we have found Namakdan by chance. We have met the owner and she is lovely and truely kind woman. She even invited us to her house for a cup of tea. A really beautiful woman. She personally controlls each food and chooses just the best. She is always there for monitoring the restaurant and the staff. We can confirm the superior quality of the food and service. We went to Namakdan each day either for lunch or dinner. It was always excellent. Each 15 minutes a waiter/waitress comes and asks if you need anything. Absoluty great example of true persian hospitality. I personally liked the tradional persian music. If the weather is good as shown on the pictures, you have to wait up to 30 minutes to get a free table. Do not visit Esfahan without coming to Namakdan. You will love it!

The best place for lunch in Isfahan. There is a choice in the menu for vegan diet: Mash Polo Khorma.

Every time I go to Isfahan this place is a "must visit" in my list. They got nice interior design for inside sitting, outdoor sitting are cozy too. I think they need more fans during summer for sure. Don't miss their Ab doogh khiar in summer !

It's an old building turned into a restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly although the tables are a bit packed. The menu is inclusive and the prices are fair. I had Kal Josh, an old Iranian soup made mainly from Kashk, which was delicious. I was there in Autumn, and it was a bit cold outside, they had few warmers available.

It is a fantastic restaurant that boasts excellent staff and exceptional food. The architectural charm of the old building is extraordinary, adorned with wonderful craftsmanship. Moreover, the food is delicious, and the service is impressively fast. However, during holidays, be prepared for a potential wait of up to 15 minutes due to its popularity. The restaurant exudes a fantastic vibe, and overall, I highly recommend it.

The place is very nice and center, since it is 200 meters from the center square and main mosques, palaces, bazaar,… some waitresses speak English and all are very nice. The food is tasty. I recommend it. The toilet could be more clean.

Fabulous restaurant in the very heart of Isfahan's historical center. The food and service was great. Here you can get traditional Persian cuisine which is made slightly differently from classic ones you get at ordinary restaurant (and Attention to those different details makes a difference!). The place is a traditional old house that has been renovated. It also has a beautifully decorated place for Isfahan hand crafts and souvenirs.

Lovely, beautiful place that used to be an old house that was transformed to a restaurant. We ordered polo mash and gheymeh bademjan both come with rice and lamb as the protein. The food was ready pretty quickly and it was very tasty as well. We also had dourgh which was great too. We sat outside, it was a sunny day and despite being winter it was comfortable. In case you wonder there are both Iranian and American style toilets. At last upstairs there is a small antique museum you can check out for free.

Almost everything about this restaurant is great, location, service, food, cleanness (except that none of staff wear mask) so far food quality is the best between all restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's a restaurant that offers you great food and experience. The place has an outdoor area for the restaurant and an indoor area for the cafe. Inside, there was also a quite unique atmosphere filled with traditional items. The only bad thing is, it is way too much crowded.

You have to wait on the waiting list for about 1 hour but it's worth it, the food is very tasty, each portion is so big and good for 2 people, the atmosphere is nice, they have a small museum shop where you can buy any antique you want buy ,

Terrible experience at this restaurant. Everyone told us they have really good and tasty food! I order rice with kabob and my friends ordered beef Tachin and chicken Tahchin! Two plates were cold like they took out from fridge and put it in a tray! They took out food and warm it up after 20 minutes! My fries were stale and cold even I told one of the waiter touch this fries , he said fries is not include hot food it shouldn’t be warm! Anyway long story short we will never come back and never recommend this place! Very rude staff terrible food!

It’s a nice refreshing environment, but there are some points worth mentioning and I hope the management reads my review: 1) I don’t understand why some parts of the food serves in plastic containers (salad, yogurt, olives, pickles)?! Also the drinks are served with a plastic straws! Not only it’s not environment friendly and so irresponsible, but also it doesn’t match the price points of the foods. 2) The customer service looks chaotic. Although everyone seemed polite. 3) Unfortunately the foods are too greasy, to the point that we couldn’t finish them.

Their Lamb Tahchin was delicious! Great location and friendly waiters. It's super close to the square, as well as the main two palaces of Isfahan.

This cozy cafe & restaurant has left the best impression in my mind! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, special recipes and wonderful cafe menu. I recommend to everyone who travel to Isfahan! The first place for eating should be Namakdan! I would like to come back here again and again. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly.

I really liked the food and quality there, we ordered kabab tabei and Tahchin, both of them were great, the service was fast and convenient , the nutella shake was also delicious. Prices were reasonable. Only problems were, it was too crowded and where we sit was far from the flame and it was cold, they didn’t have Kobideh kebab

July 2023. Mediocre food but beautiful traditional atmosphere with classical Persian music. The Ghormeh Sabzi was 5/10, Tabeyee was 8/10.
