The worst coffee shop I have ever been in Isfahan. The personnel are not well trained and do not behave the customers politely. Although the environment is very beautiful, in winter time, of the seating area is very cold and the heating system does not work well. The menu is as expensive as the best coffee shops and restaurants in the city but the quality is not comparable.

A friend guided us to this restaurant. Very nice exterior and interior. Tables around the pound and really nice atmosphere. We couldn’t find ourselves to this place without help. It supposed to be a restaurant cuz they have restaurant menu... But I think they should keep their original business as coffee shop. This a nice place in “wrong” neighborhood. If you are looking for good food, this place has nothing to offer you!

If you like to try traditional Iranian food and love traditional Iranian house you should go to this place.good mood.good staff.nice view.tasty food.

Old monument located at central part of beautiful city of Isfahan. It is a kind of traditional Iranian house, which is now a cafe, restaurant and hotel. You can eat local food there, but you can find many places with better food quality like Shahrzad restaurant, Khangostar restaurant or Abbasi and Kousar hotel at the same price. The place needs refurbishment, but maybe the managers wanted it to look really old because the doors and windows need colouring. The personnel need training. There should be english speaking personnel as a tourist attraction. Overall there are certainly more beautiful places for spending time in miraculous city of Isfahan.

It's not easy to get some lunch in this area of esfahan besides of some not inviting fast food spots. Houger is the perfect option! It is located in a beautiful yard of an old classical villa. The menu for lunch contains a few dishes, but all of them are great Persian cuisine and also vegetarian. We highly recommend to also have a tea there!

The service is good & beautiful area. This area is not smoke-free but someone seated and smoked a lot, management saw them but didn't care about them.

Unlike other cities, Isfahan's cafes are located in the traditional part of the city and its historical context, and many historical houses or old buildings have been turned into cafes or restaurants. Another house that has been turned into a cafe is the historical house of Dehdashti, one of the sights of Isfahan. Another historical house is the Daftashti House of Hoogar Cafe, and today this historic house is used as a café. Dehdashti House in the historical context of the city hosts its guests. Hoogar Cafe is located in the historical complex of Dehdashti House and has two outdoor and outdoor areas (beautiful and green yard) and interior area (beautiful and magnificent reception rooms).

Not trained personnel... No diet food .... Expensive... The place is good however in my opinion is not designed well It has the potential to be a good cafe and restaurant but needs innovative works...

The quality of food was terrible The burger's bread was just like pigeon's food But anyway the atmosphere and outdoors is good By the way nowadays i don't recommend it for its high price and this quality but i have to admit that waiters service was really something that comes into eyes Anyway i would not rather visit again

Lovely staff, nice food , great atmosphere

Café / restaurant in a very relaxed atmosphere, about 15 minutes walk from the main square in Esphahan. Small selection of delicious dishes. You sit in the courtyard of an old palace. In fact, we had also been able to stay there for two nights with an excellent price-performance ratio (about 40 Euro per night in a double room).

The cafe is closed right now but the haven't announced it!!!

Such a lovely place with delicious food! Whenever I travel back to Isfahan, certainly I'll go there again. 👍

We decided to have lunch at Houger due to their attractive instagram page.When we arrived there it was like crashing a sweet dream!it is sooo much different with the pictures.Rude and unrespectful staff, we asked for a fan because the weather was really hot and they refused to turn the fan on while the table next to us had a fan for themselves!The prices are unreasonably high. Doesn't worth it at all! Enjoy your meal at some high quality resaturants such as Namakdan or Shahrzad.
