Uncomfortable old hotel. For over 150 EUR a night, I got an old room at the 3rd floor with no elevator and no air conditioning. Breakfast is super basic. Parking costs extra 12 EUR per day. TV in the room tiny, probably from the 90s. Iron and board were so small it took twice the time to iron. Overall a big waste of money comparing to other hotels in Fontainebleau. Never again.

Nice location, close to the centre of Fontainebleau, private parking (that costs 10eur per night), and a nice garden. Free use of bikes, but they're all a bit old an tatty. My room was up on the third floor, there's no lift and I had a few bags to take up but no-one offered any help. I speak some French, but not fluently, and no-one spoke to me in English. The breakfast was simple, but very expensive for what was offered. In ten nights, and I only bothered twice, as it was easier and a lot cheaper to buy some supplies from the small supermarket close by. No mini-bar, and the room was scorching hot up in the eaves without the air-con on, but that made a huge grating noise every ten minutes if you left it on, so useless at night. Bathroom was very clean and the shower was great, but the toilet had a weak flush. There was a comfortable arm chair in the room, but another metal chair with a leg about to break that was unusable. Curtains where shabby, and didn't block out street lights. There was a cigarette burn in the carpet, and I'm pretty sure I could smell smoke, when I first went in, despite asking for a non-smoking room. I left the do no disturb sign on the door, and the was left alone, but the days when I thought the room would be cleaned, it wasn't. When I went to pay for my two breakfasts and parking having pre-paid my full ten nights, I noticed that the desk clerk had put in 1180 eur, instead of 118 eur, and it wasn't until I handed back the credit card reader that it was noticed. I won't make any accusations, I'm sure that was just a mistake.

Beautiful hotel. Fun grounds; comfortable, spacious rooms; attentive and generous service; fantastic and fresh breakfast. The staff are very welcoming, greet guests with a smile, and are happy to answer questions and offer assistance with guest needs. I look forward to returning to beautiful Fontainebleau and the Hôtel Victoria.

Nice and cute hotel close to Fontainebleau centre and chateau. However quality price equation is not proportionate. Eur140 per room per night, breakfast not included amd plus tax de sejour apart. The structure is a bit old which makes it nice but the room doors are almost transparent and dont close really well. I would have loved it if price was proportional

Lovely building and grounds. Sadly the restaurant and bar were closed due to Covid, understandably. The breakfast platter was excellent. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The gardens are spacious and peaceful and there are some things for kids such as a trampoline. The secluded car parking is great and convenient. The only downside was the rather dour receptionist who was not the best at customer service shall we say. He was helpful but had that Parisien demeanour that things were too much trouble. We were not told about any WiFi in the hotel (we didn't ask as we only stayed 1 night). I would consider it again under normal circumstances, to give it a second chance as the location is brilliant.

Comfy room with a private small garden where you can enjoy the fresh breeze of the evening. The room is spacious and well set with proper fournitures and a big queen bed. The staff has been really kind and helpful to our needs letting us stay in the garden for a small break during the afternoon after the check out.

    - but turns into + one staff member mistook out reservation but we got upgraded room with beautiful view of the garden. + all staff members we met are kind, helpful and informative. Very friendly too. + breakfast is nice too. + big room + they have a piano. + they lend bicycles too. - in our room, there were marks on the carpet and when we stepped on it, is was sticky.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and free parking in front of the hotel on the street. However, the room was worn out, faucet loose, shower calcified, stains on the window curtains and there seems no reason to call this a boutique hotel as the room decorated very standard. Especially the balance between price and quality seems off.

Ok hotel, but price quality is Not up to the level (140€ a night) Pros: nice and friendly staff. Nice garden. Cons: - Room quality is bad. The photos look nice. The indoor walls are thin, you can hear someone knocking on the wall with one finger. And floor is just cheap lino. - no WiFi (WiFi was not working at the building at 122 Rue de France), no fridge. - Checkout at 11am and check-in at 17h. 140€ for the hotel night. - I thought the breakfast would redeem the hotel. 12€ for bread, egg, jam, industrial viennoiseries. Ok, we could to the garden.

The hotel has great grounds and a decent location a short walk from INSEAD and the main street. Weird point to note but the iron could definitely use an upgrade, it put a brown stain on a tuxedo shirt!

Good service. The breakfast could have been better considering that you pay good money for it. Other than that, rooms were tidy and the bathroom were kept clean.
