After a very long day/night on the road heading home my wife called ahead and found a room available. The prior stop/town was sold out. Never had stayed at a Candlewood Suites before. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a kitchenette suite not that I needed a kitchenette but it had a full size refrigerator, dishwasher , microwave and stove top. Fully stocked with dishes and flatware. Room was large as was the bathroom compared to other hotel/motels. I would definitely choose this place again while on the road.

Very pleasant experience. The beds are very comfortable with a very nice bedding. We slept very well. The floor is carpeted, which was nice both for us, as well for our dog (this is a pet friendly hotel). The decor is a bit dated, but everything was very clean and we’ve heard in 2022 there will be a major renovation. It was great to have a kitchenette in a room, so we could avoid junk food and prepare healthy breakfast (Walmart is just 3 minutes away). You can also order food to pick up at a nearby restaurants, we were happy with K-Bobs’, yummy teriyaki chicken and meatloaf. I must mention there was a problem with our reservation at the arrival and we were given a different room that we reserved. But the way the hotel handled it at the check out was more than satisfactory, the perfect example of great customer service.

Room was as I expected. Clean and full kitchenette. When we arrived we had to call out for front desk , took a few minutes to come up. However there was items that needed to be maintained. The microwave did not work at all . Shower handle did not work and was broke . Need fill doggy poo bags Pool was cloudy. Too low on water so it was not circulating. When we told desk , said that nothing could be done because the maintenance had already left .

Worst place ever. Couldn't use pool cause it was disgusting. Hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The barbecue area was in a shambles so you couldn't use that. They had a small dog walking area where people had not picked up after their pets. Also it was at the back of the hotel in a poorly lit area where you didn't feel safe in the evening. For the price we paid there should have been a continental breakfast. All that they had was an overpriced snack bar. The rooms are very outdated. I was being bitten by what I think were fleas so I'm questioning how well the rooms are being cleaned. The evening staff was very rude and you felt like you were inconveniencing them. The morning crew was very nice. Will never stay at this place again. They should have paid me to stay there!!!

Soft clean sheets and pillows. Many kitchen supplies which I didn’t use. Gym was ok but floor was very dirty. Nice to have a w/d, they looked clean despite all the roughneck personnel. No where good to eat. KBob’s was recommended. I’d have a drink there but never eat there again.

Management staff housekeeping are rude unhelpful and will go out of thier way NOT to help. here a few weeks ago. My guys couldn't get thier room cleaned. Told once a week. Didn't happen when they have me the typical "sign was on the door routine". Not true. Day 2 told that staff called the room/knocked couldn't get an answer so they didn't go in to clean. What???!!! Day 3 Told that housekeepers didn't have us on the list. Day 4 Told HK wasn't available after 12 noon Day 5 (asked at 4 pm while HK was 10 yards away still there working) told that housekeeping had other rooms to clean. This goes on and on. HK gets mad when my guys put dirty linens outside room per front desk so HK wrap dirty linens around door know of my guys. Now we have a note asking not to put "trash" outside room. HK won't come clean or empty trash but wants to complain. Granted this hotel only "cleans" once a week and even then they don't. This place is terrible management is terrible. Do not bother if you are oilfield.

Only thing is when we walked into our room it smelled like grease. We stayed the night and it still smelled when we left. No continental breakfast but overall it was clean. A plus is there's a movie theater behind the hotel!

We got a room that smelled horrible. The thermostat and heater were broken so the room was freezing (we traveled in winter). The shower faucet was broken so only the hot water worked. The microwave was also broken. We asked for another room and they gave us one which was better, except the heater and thermostat was broken in that room too so we had a cold night. We told the staff the next day but I don't think they cared about our complaints. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

Nice kitchenette with real appliances including stove and dishwasher. Excellent shower and plenty of soaps and shampoos. Comfortable chairs and easy to understand tv. Like the water flow and the exhaust fan switch. Second time here and won’t be the last. Plenty of appliance chargers too. Lastly, I slept like a baby 😀

I am a IHG member as I travel frequently and this is the worst IHG hotel experience I had ever. I was giving a room on the first floor and unable to changed due to computer issues. The room was next to the exit door and some type of a machinery, so it was very noisy throughout the night. The coffee area was already disgusting and unsanitary at 6am below IHG standards. At the time of checkout, I was told they were unable to checkout due to computer issues with no further instruction. I’m glad I know to checkout on the app. Better customer service would had help.

Very big rooms. Will be coming back if I'm in the area. Came back for second time they gave me the room next to the one I stayed in the first time. This room had someone's dirty socks and an empty powerade bottle. I'm pregnant so I'm not drinking powerade or Gatorade. The room had a musty funky smell. The bed was made so I sat my things down and went to shower had other people's hair I rinsed off. I should have done something then but I was tired driving 7 hours. And was settled in. I brought it up in morning they said they would partially refund but never did. And I have stayed there twice and still haven't received my reward points on the ihg points for the stays even though I bought a few points because I travel a lot.

We were traveling to Fort stockton for a funeral. I called to request a early check in and a wheel chair accessible room. My mom is elderly and after a 6 hour drive was going to desperately need a little recovery time before attending the funeral at 2pm. This location was superb on helping me out. We were able to check in early. Kudos!
