Overall the room was spacious and clean. Needs a little more lighting in the toilet as there was no window. Room service was poor. I have been asked to go down reception at 1am in my pj’s to get a battery for the TV remote as it was not working. I have been given a new remote which also didn’t work. As the TV won’t even turned off and I didn’t want to go down the second time, I just unplugged it from wall socket. And the parking entrance was also hidden. Drove around twice as it’s before the hotel’s main entrance.

Great value hotel for business travelers. Hotel is located next to Plaza shopping mall Nd walking distance from the main railway station. Rooms are spacious enough with necessary basics. The only downside is poor sound isolation. I could very well hear everything happening in the next room. Free WiFi, comfy bed, good shower, safe in the room. Breakfast is served in the lobby area. Coffee is available for free all-day round. Breakfast doesn't have many options to choose from. Very basic. Staff are very friendly.

I booked this hotel based on the number of positive reviews and that Citadines is a reputable hotel. My wife and I stayed for one night so we were just looking for somewhere clean and comfortable. The check-in/check-out process was efficient and friendly, and the receptionist was helpful at answering our questions. What let this place down and what lead me to write this review was the cleanliness of our room, namely the bed linen. The cleanliness and comfort of a bed is a make-or-break for a hotel room. So imagine my surprise when I discovered a clump of long curly black hair under the duvet. I then decided to turn the duvet around to use the other end, but discovered another strand of long hair. I decided we could no longer use this duvet so called the desk where a nice gentleman was happy to swap another duvet for us. The following morning, my wife discovered a couple of bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. Having never seen these before (sorry for our ignorance), she squished one, while another one crawled under the fridge. The toilet seat also had a crack and I am not sure if the room is serviceable. If it wasn’t, it clearly had not been reported by housekeeping. Besides that, there also seemed to be a problem with the hot water system. The hot water was adjustable but it would have a sudden gush of hot water. There was no consistent temperature. This is definitely a plumbing issue that needs to be looked at. Lastly, there was also an odd stench coming from the base of the shower. It was not a deal breaker but a bit uncomfortable at times. We have been traveling around Europe for the last few weeks and stayed in a number of hotels and Airbnbs, but is by far the most disappointing. We also emailed the photos to the hotel but there was no acknowledgment or apology from housekeeping. The nice gentleman did however apologise on the hotel’s behalf.

The front desk staff was so super helpful, in particular Olga was one of the reasons our stay was so great. She gave us recommendations on places to see nearby, on where to get food and groceries, and offered us a quiet room with a good view. The room we had was a queen or double bed with a small kitchen and a nice bathroom. We were able to cook in there as it had pots and pans, plates, and cutlery. The hotel is not too far from public transit to head to the old town and a 15 minute walk from a main train station to the airport. There is also a mall/plaza right across the street with a large food court and grocery store plus other shopping. They have great spaces to relax, work (realible internet), outdoor lounge area and complementary coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. Their breakfast was a small buffet for an extra charge but we bought our own food at the grocery store for breakfast

Comfortable stay but rooms would need a bit of facelift. Rug on floor was dirty and flooring showing wear and tear.

From the first minute, the hotel brings a lovely impression. We went into a quiet and cool hall after a hot and dusty city. The lovely girl at the reception was amiable and responsible, and she spoke perfect English (as well as French and German). We were allowed to check in earlier, at 13 instead of 15. The room was not very big but perfectly clean, with a backyard view which is very quiet. The hotel has a free gym and coffee machines on the ground floor. · It would be nice if breakfast can be included in this price

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We were denied our pre-agreed early check-in by some rude women working reception, had to change rooms twice: 1st the tv & power sockets didn't work, 2nd the air conditioning in 27⁰ heat didn't work!!!! The only friendly & helpful staff member who showed any true concern was the head of house keeping; to her I say "thank you, you are so good, you shouldn't have to work with the others and instead YOU shouldbe managing all of them!" I will sleep in my car before I ever stay in this hotel again! :-(

We stayed in this hotel during Ambiente in Frankfurt messe. The hotel is practically in front of the entrance of the exhibition halls. Even better - it is right in front of the skyline mall for some quick shopping! The rooms are clean and well equipped. The bathroom was spacious than average other hotels that we have stayed in the area. Breakfast was average - nothing spectacular but also everything basic that you would need. Although we paid a fortune because of the exhibition rush , I would say that in other times, the hotel has affordable pricing.

Clean and tidy. Very nice place to be. Located in the centre of the city. Fast Internet.

I had a pleasure to spent five days in one of the hotel rooms - very cosy, clean and modern furnished. People at the reception were helpful and placable - they let me change my room because of a baby crying all the time behind the wall. What is interesting - one lady spoke both English and Deutch like a native. In a hotel lobby I could choose almost whatever I wanted to drink or eat and even watch World Cup games. For people loving physical exercises there was an opportunity to join cameral gym mainly with machines like a treadmill. Next time I will book a room in the same hotel in case of any trip (business or private) to Frankfurt. :)

Hello, the hotel cancelled my reservation without a proper reason, the same day of my arrival. When I arrived, they offered a new reservation for more expensive price (same room - same days). They confirmed reservation on my name for 2 people 3 weeks ago, with guaranteed card detalles on my husbands name. Less then 24h before the arrival they told me that it was not possible to have different guest name and card name. I changed the main guest name, so it would be the same with the card name. They canceled the reservation anyway and could not get any logical explanation why they cancelled the reservation on my husbands name guaranteed by his card. Neither they could tell why they did not contact me earlier, they had 3 weeks for that. They did not want to give us the same price even though they accepted their misbehaving. After I refused to pay more I was offered to search for another hotel (at 18h after 2h flight from Barcelona). “Very sorry”, “sorry” (who trained them to deal in the conflict in such childish way?) At the end of all discussion they gave us our room for the original cost. I would like to complain about this unbelievable treatment and the irresponsible behavior of the manager who cancelled the booking because she/he felt to do so even they had no reason. Apart of such incredible behavior of the staff, they do not care of guests, not care of hotel reputation and even on legal issues (they almost accused me on stealing the card! saying well it is not right behavior to change the name and keep the same card…), the hotel is new and comfortable. The company invested a lot to have a high standard business, they maybe do not manage their stuff properly. Our stay was 12/12/2022 - 14/12/2022

I felt the room was small and uncomfortable. I slept maybe two hours as I kept turning the temp down and it wasn't working. Room was way to warm. We t down to the desk at about 4am. Sign said to ring the bell. Did so numerous times. Then checked outside. Came back in rang the bell some more. Gave up and went back to my room. Came down to grab a quick breakfast at 0720. Breakfast began at 0730 however the receptionist the evening before said it would be ok as we were leaving at 0730. I walked into the breakfast area and everything was there and appeared ready. I grabbed a tray and utensils. One of the hotel staff started making a scene and yelling at me in German. I placed my tray down and went to check out. I would never stay at this hotel again. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Loved this hotel. Neat and clean. Rooms are spacious. Free coffee, sparkling water, cocoa drinks. The breakfast can be better. Can add some cooked food for breakfast except the continental. Lovely reception and they will help in all aspects. One thing I felt that they could have one medical staff for emergency medicine help like in Sunday's.

The staff was really great, however, pillows were not comfy, the bed as well. Room was not sparkly clean, but it was acceptable. Even water bottle was not in the room, however, water dispenser is available near the reception

I stayed here for over 2 months, when I moved to Frankfurt and it felt like home for the time I stayed here. The staff were super courteous and helpful, felt really connected to the place. It has an amazingly decorated lobby and restaurant/ bar area in E.G. with a smoking/ sunny terrace. The rooms were tastefully decorated and compact size apartments catering different sized family guests. It is bang opposite to the famous Skyline Plaza for Shopping, walking distance from Frankfurt central station and walking distance from Tram and Fair/ Exhibition Center. Very well connected location. Sure to recommend this place

Very Friendly staff, clean, and full equipped apartment, very nice kitchenette. Also the apartment has washing machine and dryer. Very good Coffee in the lobby and it is free 24 hrs. For sure I will chose the same hotel next time.

One Bedroom Apartment I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Frankfurt. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The staff were fantastic, great attitude, helpful and always available. The room was wonderful, clean and perfect. The kitchen was big you can cook whatever you want, also with a big refrigerator. The king size bed was very comfortable. Parking is located behind the hotel (Athener Str.) can fit all types of cars No tea/coffee. The kitchenware was a bit dirty. 2 smart TVs in the apartment but no access to YouTube/Netflix or Browser.🤷🏼‍♂️ Little bit overpriced.
