I

caution
people
who
are
considering
staying
at
this
hotel.
Detailed
review:
I
am
not
one
to
post
negative
reviews
online;
I
believe
that
negative
feedback
should
be
given
directly
to
the
receiver
such
that
he/she
would
have
the
chance
to
review
the
feedback
before
he/she
decides
whether
to
accept
or
reject
it.
However
this
case
with
Capri
by
Fraser
Frankfurt
has
just
gotten
so
out
of
hand
that
I
felt
a
need
to
leave
this
review
as
a
cautionary
tale.
My
colleagues
and
I
(total
of
3
of
us)
checked
into
our
usual
stay
at
Capri
by
Fraser
Frankfurt
earlier
this
year.
During
check
in,
we
purchased
breakfast
for
2
people
(i.e.
hotel
breakfast
for
my
2
colleagues
only,
as
I
prefer
to
have
breakfast
at
a
cafe
nearby).
All
was
good
until
check
out,
when
I
was
told
there
was
an
outstanding
charge
of
over
a
hundred
euros.
When
I
asked
for
clarification,
they
mentioned
that
the
room
number
given
at
breakfast
differs
from
the
room
we
purchased
breakfast
for
(meaning,
for
example,
we
purchased
breakfast
for
Room
120,
however
room
130
was
written
down).
I
clarified
with
the
Front
Desk
that
the
room
number
was
wrong,
and
that
we
had
already
paid
for
breakfast
for
2.
This
additional
charge
means
we
were
incorrectly
charged
double.
The
Front
Desk
noted
my
query
and
informed
me
that
they
needed
time
to
look
into
this
matter.
Even
though
my
colleagues
and
I
waited,
we
eventually
had
to
leave
for
our
flight
before
this
issue
was
resolved.
But
before
we
left,
the
Front
Desk
assured
me
that
they
will
continue
looking
into
this
matter,
and
will
not
proceed
with
any
charges
until
they
have
had
a
chance
to
clear
this
up
with
me
via
email.
Knowing
that
this
is
under
a
reputable
brand
of
Frasers
Hospitality,
and
having
been
a
patron
of
this
hotel
for
years,
I
left
with
the
assurance
that
this
matter
would
be
resolved
before
any
charges
were
processed.
I
did
not
hear
from
the
hotel
for
the
next
few
days
and
assumed
that
all
was
good.
To
my
utter
shock
and
dismay,
when
I
checked
my
credit
card
bill
for
the
month,
I
discovered
that
not
only
was
I
incorrectly
charged
for
the
hotel’s
confusion,
but
there
was
an
additional
charge
on
24
January
2023
(which
I
did
not
understand
as
we
had
checked
out
on
13
January
2023).
I
wrote
in
to
Capri
by
Fraser
Frankfurt
on
the
above
matter.
However,
all
my
time
and
efforts
were
in
vain
as
the
hotel
officer
was
not
only
unhelpful
but
outright
rude
-
he
refused
to
give
any
refund
for
the
incorrect
amounts
charged
to
my
card
without
my
consent,
and
even
blamed
me
for
being
careless
in
making
payment
(even
though
I
did
not
authorise
or
consent
to
any
such
payment)
and
made
sarcastic
remarks
which
implied
that
I
was
trying
to
avoid
payment
for
breakfast
that
I
supposedly
had
(but
in
actual
fact
I
did
not
have
breakfast
at
the
hotel).
He
also
did
not
clarify
why
additional
charges
were
charged
days
after
I
had
checked
out.
It
has
been
weeks
since
this
issue
came
about,
and
unfortunately,
the
hotel’s
misplaced
stubbornness
is
proving
that
I
am
nowhere
near
able
to
resolve
this
issue.
I
find
this
most
grievous
and
they
are
being
very
unreasonable
and
unhelpful
about
the
matter.
We
have
been
loyally
patronising
Fraser
for
several
years
-
in
fact,
we
would
reserve
Fraser
Frankfurt
without
question
each
time
we
visit
Frankfurt
(sans
the
2
years
due
to
COVID).
The
hotel
officer
who
emailed
said
I
should
be
careful
“next
time”.
From
this
experience,
I
am
compelled
to
and
will
indeed
heed
that
warning
-
“next
time”,
I
will
no
longer
return
to
this
hotel.
Giving
one
star
because
the
system
does
not
allow
me
to
rate
zero
-
but
even
then
this
hotel
does
not
even
deserve
a
zero.
