This place is great for kids around ages 3 to 9. Older kids aren't too impressed as it's small houses and stories being read aloud. On some days characters will walk around and kids can take pics with them. Little red riding hood and Jack and Jill came out while we were there. The price range is fair, $4 for kids up to age 10 and $6 for 11 and older. I do think all kids should be $4, honestly the older kids don't care for it but cost more, same for adults. Either way the price isn't bad. A season pass is $50, that gets 2 kids in and 2 adults, unlimited for a year. They could use some remodeling, but overall it's cute and small kids love it. Watch out on those slides though they are old school metal slides and they go fast. I love the shaded areas and the patches of flowers, we saw a lot of butterflies, hummingbirds and dragon flies when we were there.

Fantastic little park to take the little ones to. Probably not too entertaining for older kids but definitely great for getting out in the fresh air and enjoying the day. The keys ($5 each) make it all significantly more interactive and fun as all the books tell the reader's digest version of each fairytale (in English and Spanish depending on which direction you turn). It's a lovely outdoor park location with lots of fun interactive things (slides, junglygym type things, a dirt digger, musical stations, etc) for the kids and lots of visually stimulating artwork and scenes.

Took my daughter here and we had such a great time. She had fun running around playing and hearing the stories that she’s learned over the time. We only spent about an hour or an hour and a half there but we did enjoy it and played for a bit.

SO DANG CHARMING. I just loved it. I love how they persevere the charm of the past and are also working to update and make it more interactive. We loved the fairy gardens. The magic key was a very unique touch that we haven’t seen at other places. There were characters walking around the park which was so special. My 7 year old only spent an hour here but I think it was because she was anxious to get over to the rides at Playland haha. Definitely do both parks in the same day.

My kids loved Storyland. You need to purchase a ‘key’ if you want to listen to stories in display. The stories are narrated in English and Spanish. We spent about 2 hours here exploring.

Took my girls here for the nostalgia, this place has been around since my father was a child and I loved it as a kid, it’s a fun little park for kids ages 1-5, not a whole lot to do but walk around and explore, some of the attractions were closed or under construction, but it’s something for the toddlers to do.

Pretty much a broken down, almost non functioning, dilapidated theme park that just charges you to see it. Almost no staff. Booth and artist only. Zero operating concessions. The earth has literally reclaimed her land here. Rides and items are broken. No programs. Trash is about everywhere. Geese have unattended nests in play areas. I'm convinced staff doesnt even know because they dont or wont walk the park. Seems to be more of a history book for locals trying to re live what it used to be through their children only to be met with disappointment. Might as well just tear it down so the homeless ppl can finish taking it over. The true tenants. And this is problem is all over Fresno. You have property owners who wont do anything about anything except hoard the land and gouge the rent til their dying day. Meanwhile, let's keep building business offices that absolutely no one will rent. And turn them into more furniture stores. Where is all the pride in this God forsaken town. It's like no one cares.

Clean bathrooms, beautiful story plaques in English and Spanish, overall fun experience. Much of the place was painted and pretty. The slides were fun for the kids and the landscaping offered many shade trees. Some of my stars are nostalgia, but it is a fun morning outing for toddlers and early elementary. This is a laid back kid option that didn't break the bank for my family.

This was a fantastic day of fun The kids LOVED it. It's small enough you can see the whole place to watch the kids have fun and they have lots of places for the adults to sit and enjoy watching all the excitement. The staff treated us like family and the food was great. What wonderful memories we made.

This used to be a great family place - not anymore. Nothing gets maintained here. Brought my kids today: the castle was closed off, the pirate ship was also closed off, the train not working either. Even the toilets were closed, when I asked them to be opened the staff said the place was closing in 15 min, so the toilets are closed now. I asked them if my kids should pee in the bushes, eventually someone came and opened them. The toilets were very dirty. Not coming here again.

A very special place for young ones. The staff was incredibly kind. They also brought in snow for a special holiday event. The kids could have played for hours here. In fact they didn’t want to leave.

An old school place for little kids. I LOVED it, but it reminded me of a place I went as a little one in the 1960’s. They don’t make places like this any more and it’s a shame. No video games here kids.

My sister had my nephew's 3rd bday party there on July 9. We all had a horrible experience with the staff. When we got there the tables or chairs were not set up. The lady that was "coordinating" the party had a horrible attitude. All she said about that was that she was having a bad day. We asked to talk to a manager. An older lady came and my sister tried to explain to her the situation she said she didn't want to hear it. I asked for a key to hear the stories she said your sister should have picked it up when she got there. I said how was she supposed to know? She replied, "I don't want to go there with you". She just wanted us out! We are a Hispanic family and I felt she was being very prejudiced against us. I have never felt that way before. It's supposed to be a fun safe place for families. We paid to have a private event for 3 hours and they were already being rude since the first minute. I don't think they want people to go there.

Storyland was much more magical than where i was today . This marks 60 years since this whimsical addition opened for business yet no mother goose . No animals . No concession stands . No going in the houses or down any secret passageways . Just the buildings with their voice box . A child almost severed his finger on the see saw which was in the shape it has been since 1980 . The water was green . It makes you wonder how over a million dollars was spent on renovations . I expected far more .

It's seen better days but the concept is solid and my daughter loved it. Would recommend. It's pretty cheap and won't take all day to get through.

Several of the exhibits were closed, including the castle and pirate ship! A little disappointing but the kids still had fun. Cheap way to have a couple hours of fun.

Felt like i got scammed. The pictures showed all the ride but apparently that is closed and the staff at the desk didnt feel the need to tell us. The park is also not very handicap or stroller friendly. We went in for about 10 minutes and then decided to leave when we realized half the park was closed and no food places were open. They refused to refund us

Loved it!! We took our 2 and 3 year old kids to Storyland!! I'm telling you, if you haven't gone you need to go!! They had so much fun. Make sure it let them go in King Arthur's castle to play with the blocks! ❤️❤️ . 2 adults $6ea, 2 kids $4ea plus the magic key (100% worth the $5 extra) was $25 to enter. Everyone ate for less than $20 total and we shared hot chocolate. Worth it!

Having a membership honestly is not worth it .. We brought our grandchildren 2 times and both times closed early! The second time we went on a Friday. Our grandchildren were so excited for storyland, but to find they closed early, there wasn't a certain reason .. As faithful Members to the Chaffee Zoo, we ended up taking our grand children thier instead ...

Storyline, as well as all of the other venues are well maintained and clean for a enjoyable visit. I'm 60 years young and I still enjoy visiting Storyland . I feel like that 6 year old boy again every time I visit!

Kids had fun. My family was enjoying themselves until an employee made fun of my autistic son and kind of killed our mood. Security found the manager and informed him of this. He did apologize on behalf of the employee! We left after the conversation.

Great staff and magical experience! We had such a great time at StoryLand this past weekend! Robin P was so helpful during our visit. She answered all of my questions, gave directions and was so nice! Great employees and such a fun park. Us adults had just as much fun as the kids! Thank you Robin and StoryLand for making our dreams come true! Absolute magical experience 💫❤️
