The good thing about this hotel is convenient location. There's car park provided which is a plus point but the car park is limited. It closes as when it's full n finding car park around the vicinity is difficult. Consider driving small car to ease squeezing some space for parking in alley or so. The accommodation is horrendous though. I didn't sleep well in this hotel. Kept waking up at night. The soundproofing is poor. Additionally the water pressure in bathroom is also very low and inconsistent. U need to beg for water when you bathe. The water pressure comes n go. In a nutshell, i won't personally recommend this hotel. It's not worth the hassle.

Despite having read many negative reviews here, we thought we will give it a try, and it did not disappoint us. We had a huge room with a King size bed and a nice city view. The bathroom and room aircon were all working well. All our basic needs for the pantry and bathroom were well provided. Check-in and out of the hotel were seamless. However, I do agree that the bedding and towels were time-worn. Overall, we had a good time staying in this well-located hotel.

The room was nice and clean, and someone was available at the reception most of the time if no one was present. Security is helping out. Liked the views of the city and sea from the room. Very prominent location, accessible distance to other attractions in the city. If the phone was working in the room, it would have helped us to make calls and get some information about attractions operating hours.

The good: Comfy beds Nice views from within the room Friendly staff Convenient location Dedicated parking building The bad: Not enough elevators to handle the guests (only 2 out of 3 were working and it was not enough at all, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes each time we wanted to go down to the lobby) Multiple rooms had an issue with the room key card not working. The sensor on the door would register the key scan but won't open because of a mechanical fault. We had to reach out to maintenance staff every time we wanted to go back into our room since we were locked out. Extremely inconvenient. Bidet shower in the toilet leaks unless the valve to it is completely closed. Dedicated parking building is not suitable for vans/pickups or any other vehicle of similar size as there are a lot of tight turns inside. Personally I think the hotel staff is overwhelmed when the hotel is fully booked. Many guests had to wait a while for their rooms to be ready. My friend in a different room had a LOOSE SHARD OF GLASS in the water jar provided by the hotel. (they don't provide water bottles to reduce plastic waste) Things could have gone much worse if he had not seen it before drinking from it. This hotel has so much potential and can definitely be better in the future. It's up to the management to take initiative in doing so.

I know there is a 3 stars hotel hence i should not expect much but still there are improvements that can be made. The parking is convenient with plenty of lots. Easy access from parking to hotel. I also like that the hotel key card can use to tap the car park gantry in and out during the stay. I like the communal services available for all rooms with the water dispenser and ironing board located at the corridor. The check in was good. Staff are friendly and get things done when i called to request for additional pillows. Reliable. Location is also good in the central of georgetown and near to massage establishment. Simple setup of room with decent wifi. Value for money for this hotel for its location and decent setup. What i did not like that is the hotel room is very dim. The lighting are not strong enough so at night, the room looks dark and hard to get anything done. The TV reception is not well and the screen is not clear. Only local channels available. The toilet is cramped and they do not provide hand towels. The air con was very hot but they fixed it after the feedback. Sound insulation is poor. You hear everything happening along the corridor but luckily the guests are not too noisy. The beds dont have firm support and hence i get back ache after 2 nights. Phone wasnt working and had to go down to ask for assistance. Personally, I would not come back to this hotel again although it is decent.

Overall, nice stay and no issues. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were fine. Breakfast buffet available for 30 RMB. I didn't try it but looked like it would be worth it. I will say the pool is much smaller than it looks in the photo. Great location near many eating & dining spots and attractions.

For that price, we expected the hotel to be, well, better. The room is spacious (we stayed in the Orion Room) yet the TV has no channel, not even the basic one!!! The receptionist already mentioned that they are undergoing system upgrade or something but come-on, does it really takes three-days to fix it?!?!? The lobby air-conditioner is either not working or shut off since everytime I was there it is hot. Humid hot, even when it was raining outside. Only two out of three lifts working, including the one service lift. I shared a lift with a housekeeper and his work-trolley. And the hook for my toilet bidet is broken, and nobody is care enough to fix something simple as that. The room is clean though, and so is the overall hotel's area.

The good : Nice room, got water cooler in the hallway, parking is free, good location. The bad : System down when we arrived, had to wait a long time to check-in. Limited parking spot causing many guests to park illegally, blocking exit and making other guests difficult to move their cars. On the last day after checkout, the car park barrier got issue and cannot exit. Had to wait for maintenance personnel to come to raise the barrier.

Room is clean. Bed is comfortable, a bit stain on bed. Wall is a bit thin you can hear shower on neighbor and you can hear hallway people talking. When i want to leave and check out. Realize that my room can't lock when i go out. Fortunately just 1 night.

I've been travelling in SE Asia for nearly 5 months and this was in my top 5 favourite hotels. Located in the perfect location in Georgetown, right near the restaurants, shops etc. There's live music every night which was fun. The staff were super friendly, the rooftop pool was unreal and the views were amazing. Definitely check out the cafe across the road for breakfast, lots of really tasty sandwiches. At a reasonable price per night it was a great stay for 5 nights. I was sad to leave here!!

It is located beside Hin Bus Depot, one of the attraction place in Penang. It is also a 800 meter walking distance to KOMTAR, Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue Mall. For those who will driving to here, they got multistory parking, F.O.C if you stay in the hotel. Room was absolutely satisfying! Of course, it depend on the price but mine was impressive! Big bed, clean, got 15 tv channels, small refrigerator, safety cash box, hair dryer and slipper. Iron and iron board can be requested to receptionist and they will send it straight to your room. Drinking water can be get from their COWAY water dispenser, located beside lift in every floor. Empty bottle are provided in the room. Breakfast at ground level, the Art & Soul Cafe. 3 menus available, all are good!

Service โญโญโญโญ Room cleanliness โญโญโญโญโญ Toilet โญโญโญโญ Parking โญโญโญโญโญ View โญโญโญโญโญ Price โญโญโญโญ (RM100~400) It's a hotel in the middle of the city. Parking was free and so many parking space up to level 6. We got city view and we can see the sunrise from our room, and it's really pretty ๐Ÿ˜ Room is just standard size, TV didn't have so much channel but its okay for us because we're just came here to sleep, not to watch TV. Overall the room is clean. But it's kinda scary because we felt like there's not a lot of people staying in our floor (level 25th). Oh ya, it's better for you to bring your tumblers along because these days they won't provide you with water bottles, only water dispenser. The toilet was clean, standard size toilet. But what I disappointed is that the shower gel dispenser is broken. And I'm very unlucky for not bringing any shower gel with me. However, good thing is, the hotel got this mini store at the lobby. Overall, it's good to just came and sleep for one or two nights here.. price quite cheap I guess. You can just take a walk alongside the hotel and Deen's Maju is just about 5 minutes walk. And other few restaurants is just few minutes walk.. Shall. I come again? Yes. Definitely.

Check in was extremely slow paced with only 1 male Indian front desk officer and he took forever to check in a guest. Then came a lady who can perform the same task at lighting speed which took less than 5 mins. Lobby was without air con and stuffy. A table fan was setup to keep the front desk cool instead of the guests. Otherwise good location and clean room.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the new year 2023. We loved this hotel despite reading bad reviews. The pool at the 25th floor was very enjoyable ! The hotel is literally located diagonally to the Hin Bus depot which is a great โ€˜artsyโ€™ place to check out ! Luckily for us, there was a huge countdown party for the new year. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel! The rooms were clean and big. The cleaning staff were very efficient and our room smelled really nice. We had good service at the front desk as well!

I recently stayed at Hotel Neo+ Penang with my family and we had a great experience. The hotel is located in the heart of Georgetown, just a short walk from many of the city's attractions. We booked our rooms online and check-in was quick and easy. We were given connecting rooms, which were large and clean. The rooms had a modern design and were equipped with everything we needed, including a TV, air conditioning, and a minibar. We stayed on the 23rd floor with sea views, which were amazing. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with stunning views of the city. We enjoyed spending time at the pool, as well as exploring the surrounding area. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to answer our questions and make recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Spacious rooms and water purifier on each floor but thatโ€™s about it. Shower is horrible. You get hot water for 30 seconds, then it disappears for about 5 mins, the cycle repeats. Horrible. Towel smells like it was just dried and send back. Smells sweat. Pillow so hard. Never will come back.

Rooms are spacious and cleanliness was average. The food there was horrible with such few variety. Parking was a nightmare. The hotel should have estimates of guests and cars. This is not 1950s. Everyone drives. Otherwise it is okay to stay but not my first choice

Fantastic hotel! Nice clean modern rooms with cool city view, lovely pool. Live music and karaoke every night in hotel restaurant/ bar. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, close to lots of restaurants and malls. In centre of George Town- fantastic value for money compared to other local hotels. My only criticism is the window curtains didnโ€™t fit the windows fully so in the morning the room is very bright with sunlight. Overall fantastic stay in an amazing city. The service from the receptionist is satisfactory & quick. Location is ideal. The cleanliness of room needs to be improved. Dust was observed and a lot of stains on the bedsheet & pillow case. Understood that it's peak period & the service might be delayed. We called to request to change the pillow case twice after waiting for 5 hours.

Highly recommended. We had a very good stay. Reason being it's value for money, comfort, cleanliness and convenience. And it's a big 25 level hotel, even for a 3-star. In particular, we had a Wow moment when the reservation staff gave us a pleasant surprise to accommodate my special request! Kudos to Shai n Eila, Thank You!

Original room was smelly, bedsheets were stained, floor was sticky, room entrance was dirty. Staff then gave another room but it was similar too.. Smelly, stained sheets, sticky floor. Went to the reception, waited for awhile and was given another room by the staff. It was decent at first, no dirt as the first 2.. After going travelling around and got back to the room, when it was time to take a shower, the water heater didn't seem to work. Called the reception and they sent a staff to check out the issue. The staff just told to let the water run, after about 10 minutes or so, there was hot water (but imagine how much water had been wasted)

Well situated at the centre of the city. Read reviews and they were great . Great customer service though but the bath room was very dirty and the towel was dirty even when we called for a change the one that was brought was torn. I know the covid has run down a lots of hotels but it shouldnโ€™t make you have dirty bathrooms and towels. There is a live band and the food was good . Whoever the supervisor is should check the towels and the bathrooms for that I am giving you three stars because for me bathrooms and towels are important to me Thank you Pls note: management responded with to my review. Am happy they will make things right hence anytime I visit Penang I will still go there and give a feedback

Great hotel choice for Penang. Very good location near many places in Georgetown. Directly opposite the Hin Bus Depot Art Space. Rooms have a very good, functional layout. Drinking water is available, self serve from a dispenser in the hall. All the needed amenities are provided. Housekeeping does a great job refreshing the room daily. The front office team was very friendly and helpful. Had left behind an item, the team was very quick to secure then keep it safe for me.

    1. The receptionists are not friendly. They seems to show their tiredness due to lack of staff I guess. Normal greetings such as Good Morning or Thank you are not given by them. I drop my keycard upon check out and the receptionist had no words at all. 2. I called them to check on my ETA and they very honest telling me that they lack of staff so recommend to check in after 4pm. 3. Room is not soundproof. We can listened to the running sound upstairs and washroom water from our next room. 4. Need to improve the cleanliness especially the bedsheet. They have stains and hair

Location is very excellent. Service were very good. Parking was free but you have to notify the guard you're checking in for them to allow access. Breakfast was good and cheap. My complain would be the room. It is very small and the walls were thin. Walking the floor i can hear every conversation inside every room. No privacy foe your hankypanky definitly..LOL. Sleeping can be intrude from the nightshow in the opposite Bus Depot attraction. The pool on the roof was excellent with awesome view of Penang. Its the best part of the hotel

I stayed one more time in this hotel as i have to bring my newborn baby to Penang GH. I was well received by Mr Theva the receptionist and i was given a very good and comfortable room. its a perfect stay for me. The manager Miss June is really awesome. The room is spacious, got hot water and there are free coffees and teas given. You should try char kueh teow which is opposite the hotel in the morning and sup hameed which is nearby. Great place to stay and room was cozy. Big plus was they have a free refill water dispenser that you can always top it up! But, a bit disappointed because they did not provide any cutleries or plate that you can borrow (say if you wanna order in from Grabfood). Overall, still a recommended place to stay because it is quite near to most site seeing, Komtar tower, supermarkets, locals markets, local cafes and pharmacies. Receptionists, housekeepings, security were all friendly and helpful too :) Next time, please provide some plates and cutleries :)

Terrible condition of the room. I was in Room 2117, and whenever it rained, the whole place would flood right up till underneath my bed. I stayed from the 15/10/23-17/10/23. I lodge a complain the next day when it rained, and had house-keeping to come and clean it up, but no other actions were taken. Cannot imagine bringing my old folks to a hazardous place like this. Staff members are not very equipped with the English Language, had to repeat myself several times in order to be understood. Both days that I stayed, it rained heavily, causing the room to flood. Never coming back here again. No compensation was given after our complaints during our stay there. Very upsetting and not professional in handling the matter.

Stayed here many times in the past. This trip November 2021 disappointed me big time. Great hotel for those who needed parking. We have stayed here before, so is familiar with hotel. The room we had was big, with comfortable pillows... With sustainability issues coming up, now they provide water dispenser for those who want to drink water as bottled water is no longer provided. Since we have a car, it was easy to move, but if you have to walk, it wasn't that far to find good restaurants near the hotel. The hotel perhaps can do some fresh of paint on the walls and corridors of the hotel rooms. But perhaps minor issue. Overall comfortable stay.

Good: 1. Location 2. The room is big and clean Bad: 1. No hot water in the shower for 2 days and the staff didn't bother to inform the guestโ€ฆ speechless 2. The AC and the fan in the toilet are super loud. Can't sleep with the AC on. The staff didn't come to fix until I asked for the second time. 3. No shower gel in the bathroom 4. The fridge is not cold. Obs.... not enough staff. Not worth the price. Donโ€™t advise to stay in this hotel as they will just say sorry without any solutions or compensation.

A nice and clean hotel in Penang, near Komtar Tower area. The design looks modern and new. The bed are comfy and bathroom are okay. Although we had a few let down. The check in took quite some time, and when we get to our room, its stinks with cigarettes odour. Guess it wasnt entirely hotel faults. Another thing to be quite disappointing is that the breakfast is below average. The hotel is new, their guess are many, and the space is adequate. Yet the spread is disappointing and the taste is just mediocre. I used to get better breakfast at lower hotel price than this place. Pictures upload is the beautiful night view from the pool level.

I had a relatively decent experience at this hotel, especially if you're traveling with young children. It is conveniently located near local tourist areas, offering plenty of nice dining options in the vicinity. The hotel's facilities were satisfactory, providing the essentials for a comfortable stay. While nothing extraordinary stood out, they met our basic needs. The staff was generally fine, with one standout individual. The Indian gentleman working the day shift was exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The room itself was spacious and offered ample space for our family. However, it's worth noting that the condition of the toilet was disappointing. It appeared quite run-down and could benefit from some maintenance and improvements.

The hotel is strategically located at town area. Walking distance to many eatery and other tourist spots. The room is big and clean. However, the sound proof is not good. We stayed at 15th floor which supposed to be โ€œquietโ€ floor. Still hearing loud noises coming from Ground Floor (the pub area) after 12am midnight. The Management should look at this seriously

it is situated in the centre of Georgetown, very convenient as it is surrounded by coffee shops, cafes and shopping malls. Unfortunately I did not take any photos. I stay in the 21st floor and the view is spectacular. The top of the hotel where the pool is had a 240 degree view of the island

The FOA is nice enough to allow me check in early after a long drive during festive season. The room is great, clean and my room can view The TOP at night. Stayed 3 nights, inclusive breakfast, hotel parking is sufficient alto a little narrow. The little down side is the heater water sudden cold and hot..

All is good. The check in and check out process was smooth. The room is clean and neat. The receiptionist is quite welcoming and very helpful when I asked for iron immediately they send to our room. The location is excellent as it is not to crowd and not too quiet. Can walk around and reach to Top Komtar just by walking.

Stay in space family room. Lousy cleanliness ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคง The bedsheets and pillow were dirty, yellowish and have some black stained like mouldy. Smelly pillow make me vomit... feels like no change the bedsheets. Dust everywhere. Poor customer service, lack of hotel stuff. Location is ok but NO RECOMMENDED. Not worth it at all and very disappointed. This is BAD experience ever in hotel stay.

Positive 1. Good location and ample indoor parking. 2. Convenient to take water since there is water dispenser on each floor. 3. Plenty of hanger provided Negative 1. My bed might have bed bug, having itchiness after my stay 2. Cleaner came in on the day Iwanf to check out at 11am although the "do not disturb" sign was clearly hang on the front door knob and I have not checkout out yet

The hotel is located on strategic location. Private parking is a huge plus since it is almost impossible to find public parking space on weekends at the heart of Penang. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a box of fruits and cheese to be delivered to the hotel, as a gift to go to my friend's house after check out, and the staff happily helped me to keep the box in their fridge with no cost. The room is very tidy, clean and huge! I booked SPACE room and it has a lot of extra spaces to move around. The downside is, there is like a chinese restaurant next to the hotel and you can hear them karaoke-ing clearly during the night. But not for long so i guess it's fine. The breakfast is amazing and super delicious! The add-on price for the breakfast is very cheap too, only for RM30! Overall I am very satisfied with my stay and will definitely book here again on my next stay in Penang.
