very very dirty place! The most dirty hostel I have ever been. While my 4 days stay there, it stays the same dirty. Dirty to disgusting level! The mould spots on the walls of the shower rooms. The stains and hairs on the ground. And you can see the towels are dirty to black colors. The accumulated water at the dish holder went bad with some blacks. No one cleans it for weeks. It is the most disgusting hotel, ridiculous dirty! They have two staffs there but they won't do the cleaning. It is so absurd for the staffs to stay comfortable in such dirty surrounding, I doubt how low they are paid to be in such way…

Disgusting. The dirtiest place ever. Cleaner sits on his backside watching videos on his phone. Beware, it looks like they delete or block review on Agoda as ours isn’t showing. It’s absolutely filthy. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL

Room was very small and crammed but we knew this before booking. Bed was quite comfortable. Private bathroom needs A LOT of cleaning. It was quite dirty, especially the sink and walls. The water pressure and temperature of shower and tap could not be regulated - it was an absolute nightmare! One second it would be weak pressure and cold and the next it would suddenly explode at full pressure and be scolding hot! At 9:30am there was extremely loud drilling and construction work. Throughout the night and early morning we could hear loud guests constantly, as the shared bathroom facilities were right outside our door. Overall it wasn’t the best stay, however it was a decent price and it did us for a couple nights in Penang.

Private room was basic but clean and central location was good. But the same can’t be said for the common areas, very dirty sinks and showers. Bins were not changed for days, causing ants and fruit flys everywhere. You will also be woken up by the 6am Quran call because the windows are not soundproof!

I previously stayed at the other Swing & Pillows and found it to be OK – although the rooms were very small they were clean and relatively useable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. This place is the opposite; the room was filthy, including hairs everywhere (the floor hadn’t even been mopped or the bathroom walls wiped) and the staff might as well have not existed. Also they put no effort into the room – a shelf and/or some hooks and/or a mirror would require next-to-no effort or expense and would help make the rooms less dreadful, which they are.

As you’d expect for somewhere so cheap. Basic room and facilities but AC worked well. It felt very safe with keypad entry to the building and rooms. Excellent location in the middle of Georgetown.

Luckily the room/bedding was clean, and the Aircon worked because everything else was not good. The common areas were so horrible to be because they clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. The floors had hair everywhere and the shower/toilet cubicles were horrible to be in. Really did not enjoy staying here.

Täydellinen budjettiratkaisu reppureissaajalle Georgetownissa. Lähellä on 7-eleven, bussipysäkki, paikallisten suosima aamupalapaikka ja foodcourt. Jaetuissa kylpyhuoneissa oli aina saatavilla shampoota/saippuaa sekä vessapaperia. Jaetussa keittiössä oli tarjolla teetä ja kahvia. Kahvi oli kuitenkin aina loppu kun me yritimme sitä hakea. Huoneiden ovenkahvat toimivat kosketusnäyttöön näppäiltävällä huonekohtaisella koodilla. Hiemankin märillä käsillä sai nopeasti ovenkahvan sekaisin.
