This is the worst hotel i have ever been to!!! 1. At first they placed us in ground floor. We were stunned because is right in front a restaurant which the room is facing the customers. 2. Noisy even we are moved to upstairs. 3. Awful toilet smell when we were in ground floor. 4. Super loud morning call from the mosque in early morning 5am. 5. They just shut the power supply when the time is just 1130am when the chrck out time stated 12 noon. The only complement we can give is just when we complained about the toilet smell, they allowed us to move to another room.

TERRIBLE hotel - we have been traveling Southeast Asia for several months and this is the only hotel we have ever had to leave early from. Room was dirty - cockroaches, stains, cobwebs everywhere, etc. Staff was not helpful. Room is basically in the restaurant and the morning call to prayer from mosque next door is incredibly loud, impossible to sleep though. Room isnt even cheap - no reason to stay here

The hotel is actualy at a strategical place. It's in heart of the town. And everywhere is in walking distance. Spas, restaurants and atm are nearby.. The hotel looks just like in pictures. But the room is very small. The washroom has glasses which i guess not appropriate for family and friends stay... Its okay for couple stay. Hotel also provides hot and cold water at the end of staircases. Please prepare cash as they want you to pay RM100 as advance payment and they prefer cash only. They will return it to u once u check out..

The room was okay. I got the deluxe room at ground floor, and TBH, I think you can skip it. Cause the window is facing the restaurant and I don’t think you will open the window lol. Good: - The location was great and easy access to anywhere. - Though parking not provided, but there was plenty of street parking available and private parking - The air condition is cold and free water filter is provided Bad: - As other suggested, the room sound proofing was bad. You could hear the noises from kitchen, restaurant and morning call from the mosque lol - Bathroom drainage system was full and stuck for my whole 4 days stay Overall still a very good budget hotel which you can try

We should have read the reviews but oh well. So, yes small room but Im fine with small room. To have a cafe just literally right outside your bedroom door? Big no for obvious reasons. Noisy. Deposit of RM100? Hmm and its true like some of the reviewers mentioned - they cut the electricity at 11.30am so no, just not our kind of stay especially after a long travel day.

Good location however parking is very difficult. Very nice vintage styled hotel. However, the room was a little dusty. And it's abit noisy in the morning when the staffs are preparing breakfast.

I was trying to find a good hotel with no pool but then I found this hotel, and the rooms are small! haiyoyo... but okay la! 😼

A+ for the hotel 1980's style. Seems like 夜上海. But funny how the restaurant is just right infront of the hotel rooms. No water kettle even though have packet teas to boil and drink. A lot of mosquitoes. Early morning very noisy morning call. Its suitable for couples or friends to stay in, but only for 1 night or 2 nights. The location is perfect because many bars around. But downside is very difficult to park car. Nearby have carpark for 30RM overnight till 8am.

Room is clean. Great location. However, we were put in the last room on ground floor. Which is literary next to the kitchen and in front of the toilet. We can hear kitchen staff talk, chop, cooking, stirring the wok… though its a good deal but i dont think this spot should be a guest room.

For room cozy and comfortable but there is no parking for the customer,but there is public parking near to hotel and nasi kandar line clear/Hameed Nasi kandar.

The room is small in size, the vibe was nice but ground floor room is not the best as it is share with restaurants

❌ Not recommend at all. Very dirty room. And everything in the room broken include the aircon control and phone. You even cannot find hotel staff in lobby counter. Find hole hotel also no one show. And they trying to not return you deposit when you check out. Be careful ‼️

Good for business trip, not recommended for family or couple on mating season (honeymoon) 😆 can hear walking talking as the pathwalk sharing with cafe. Small room but reasonable price (book with online apps) walking distance for many tourist attractions like Hameediyah and Chulia Street sure its happening at night for Muslim need to try Halab Penang for Non Muslim a lot of bar for entertainment. Just one things my concern no parking space available others staff is very cheerful and welcoming surely helpful if you're back from long drive.

The room was too small for the price... Summore the room was in ground floor in front of the Hotel cafe its too noisy.. Until can't sleep or rest. The main thing is no parking for customers..

Decent hotel. Room wasn't cleaned properly, floor was covered with dust when we entered the room. Other than that was okay. Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and cafe. However, it's located right next to a mosque, expect a loud "morning call" around 5/6am as they started to pray...

This is the terrible hotel we have ever stay in , the mosque was just beside the hotel which is very very loud and the next room alarm rang at 7 in the morning , the staff wasn’t really helpful, we reach the hotel at 1pm and though to check in first as we also understand only can get room at 3pm , so we stop at the roadside and my girlfriend went down to proceed the check in procedure but a staff came out and started to complain where we stop our car but nvr even help to remove the cone for loading space for us park for awhile, and we have to carry our luggage and walk for 5-10minute to the hotel which is very inconvenient. The room is also dirty , we feel so sick for the one night in this hotel. Not recommend.

I only stay one day Pros 1. The shower water pressure is good and heater works just nice 2. Bathroom cleanliness is ok. Can be improved slightly better 3. Lively night life and plenty of beer shops along the streets. 4. Air conditioning working well and cold. 5. Tidy room 6. Outside of your room there is a restaurant. Never tried the food Cons 1. Bedsheet has old stains 2. Room is small, spacious for one person only 3 a bit pricey at rm100 per night. 4. Small table 5. TV has less channels but I brought my own ipad for Netflix 6. Air cond remote not functioning. Cannot control temp 7. Walls so thin. Even someone next door phone’s alarm can hear clearly. 8. No car park provided. A big no Overall good stay. If the price is between 70-80 it would be better

Budget boutique hotel located in George Town. Rooms are very small, very basic. Room was not very clean. Unfortunately our room faced the main road outside and was quite noisy due to road traffic. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable hotel smack in city. Mosque is next door. Be prepared to wake up early!
