Absolutely do not stay here. Although the hotel appears nice, they are operating a scam out of this hotel. During check-in I placed a deposit and paid taxes for the full duration of my stay and had a receipt stating that I was due back the full deposit, and that taxes had been paid. Then, upon checking out, the front desk claimed I had paid no taxes and that they were taking half my deposit - even though I presented the receipt. Absolute scam. Do not stay!!!

I checked in here on 20th Oct, and I booked via agoda. Once I reach there, I pay around Rm100 for deposit and Rm4 for Heritage Fee. I request an extra bed, and it costs me Rm80(per day). The staff are very friendly and very polite. About Room, Yeah, the room is very clean and simply nice. I and my friends just love it. The toiletries also provided, and they provide a small luggage bag room near the receptionist to keep your stuff. The location of this hotel is strategic, very convenient. Restaurant and Eateries are within walking distance. Simply very comfy and recommended. Definitely will come again ❤️🥳

We had a great night sleep eventhough our room is located next to a busy road. Very comfortable stay overall, value for money and friendly staff! The public toilet at the lobby needs a proper service. The toilet seat flaps must be repaired.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfy, and the room was spotlessly clean and modern. The best part was its fantastic location – it's conveniently situated near a famous food spot, making dining a breeze. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Best hotel I had in Georgetown literally! Easy to get around, located in a central district near food and shopping area, cant ask for more especially when you can get a spacious room with a competitive rate. The staff if top notch, very helpful! Will definitely came back for more stays!

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is next to a busy road so you can hear the traffic noise from that road. Location is very strategic, they have a very special lift in the hotel. Overall, the hotel is worth the value.

Best room at bad location. The room is spacious. Bed is comfortable.blanket is warm. Hotel is new,just started from June 2019. Elevator is currently under repair. Toilet is very clean with very generous bath gel given. One bad thing about it is the hotel located by the roadside. It's very very noisy especially during the day. It's near to mosque as well thus it's pretty loud near praying time. Parking is limited but sufficient. Very helpful friendly kind attentive staffs.

Perfect hotel near many tourist attractions and Famous FOOD!!! . Very happy with my stay in Le Embassy Hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a car park in the hotel which is important for me because I travelling with my kids so without car park is not so convenient. Love the cute lift in the hotel, very special.

Clean and quite spacious room, nicely designed. Comfortable beds. But the lighting was too dim in the room. Drinking water dispenser is available for guests 👍👍👍. Service is bad tho.

Pricetag: queen bed: rm140 ok la for a couple Basic amenities provided like toothbrush, sanitary plastic, and bodywash, towel etc etc However, the shower, too many leaks here and there showed the place not well maintained, Definitely NOT A QUITE PLACE, i had stayed numerous hotels in central cities, and the room i had was LOUD, maybe due the authentic old window the hotel want to preserve hence inadequate insulation, woke up middle of the night hearing some motorcycle's exhaust sound, and the more traffic during check-out time, the louder the noise For me that price tag, and i can sleep through with the noise during the day prior to check out time, so ok la Best thing: Walkable to famous market places, definitely love the morning breakfast in hutton lane roti bakar, FYI: pray to God you have you own parking spot in the hotel, if not then need to park within 3-5minit walking distance So i can bare a bit of the noise so that i can have a place to rest, definitely to consider a cheap option for quicky gateway 🤭

Strategic location that is near to lots of foods. However, the room is way too NOISY due to the proximity to main road (24 hours!) and ancient windows. Tips: Request not to have room that is facing the road! Important!

I had an enjoyable stay. Room is clean and spacious! Very comfortable. Location is nice, just in heart of town, easy access to any cafe and hot spot in Penang. Can enjoy view of Komtar as well !! Definitely will come back again

Location not bad, surrounded by lots of local & famous food~ roti canai, cendul, cafe, cakes n bla bla bla~ when u craving for food, within 2-5mins walk, sure can get some good food to fill your stomach. Hotel does provide car park, just parking lot are limited & bit narrow la, but everyone know la, penang town area land are limited ma, so ok la acceptable la~ Looks clean tho it is heritage building, especially toilet cleanliness are better than my expectation. Price range i think is quite reasonable la, suitable for short stay or business trip. Only bad is no facilities, like gym, pool, deck & etc, so family trip might be lack of joy moment. But cant demand more la, since stay town area, better spend little bit more time for food hunt. Last but not least, the western restaurant opposite hotel quite famous, perhaps u shud give a try.

It's was new renovated hotel , Aug 2020. Satisfied in all hospitality. Toiletries and others are perfectly Probably air conditioner need to allow me to control, cause it a bit warm room.

Love their clean minimalist decor! Receptionist was friendly and accommodating. We got a room with a nice view of KOMTAR. Good location, walking distance to a lot of places. They also provided water purifier so you can refill your water bottle. Loved it and would recommend.

Located in strategic place, walking distance to newlane hawker centre (char khue teow). We stayed in councellor room, which we think the room is quite clean and tidy, but during we stay here for 3 night, the room is not made up by hotel staff (maybe need to inform the hotel staff if you want your room made up) You need to deposit RM100 and pay tourist tax RM2/night before check in

A good place for short stay. The Front office staff Ms Loha, such a humble person. Shared to us lot of location nearby as we are having vacation trip there. Company should have more staff like her.

Prior to the check-in, I arrived before 3 pm and checked if I could have a slight early check however the receptionist mentioned not able as the room is not ready. Waited for 15min and manage to get a room, smooth check, and be briefed with the necessary. The room was spacious, and quite clean just some of the spots were full of dust. The disappointment was there is no slipper and a hair dryer is provided where I had to let my hair dry on its own. Another weird encounter was the design or the setup of the room. There is an open space wardrobe yet it were above or attached to the only coffee table or writing table in the room. How shall we hang our clothes or towels there where the spaces were limited and the hanger was an "anti-theft" hanger that was not able to remove. Next to the washroom, there is a bar I believe is catered to hang towels yet the towels were folded and placed in front of the mirror, why don't the hanger be placed there which is more suitable? Other than that, I quite enjoy the stay as it was quite strategic and a water dispenser is provided for water refilling.

Make sure you get double bed room, not the queen room. Queen room is facing the main road, means you'll hear the vehicle aound during your night. I couldn't sleep. Except that, everything was good. Nice room design, there's a water dispenser every floor. Nice but slow lift. The aircon worked well. The hotel location is walkable to es cendhol and other famous street food.

This cheap hotel made me feel very comfortable more than i expected I like that there is an iron to use in the corridor. and also have water purifier. Wifi very good, There is a wide starting room size. Clean and very good prices, see u next time.

Basically feels like sleeping by the street. Cars passing by whole night, alarm sound, people quarelling. You also hear muslim prayers. You can also hear people talking next room, their door bell, them opening doors, imagine how bad the sound proof was. Their towel are brown like floor rugs. Hairdryer was not provided, not even a chair for you to sit. The air-con was not even cold. Plus, only one key card provided for each room. There was not even a zebra crossing, the hotel was just across a busy street, the cars never stopped. You will spend a long time waiting just to cross the street to reach the hotel.

there are water dispensers on each floor, there is a toilet near the lobby so there is no need to go up to the room. The location of the hotel is easy to walk to places of interest around. only parking needs to provide a phone number because it is limited. or ask the receptionist to contact the owner to move the car. water heater function most of the time, sometimes a little problem. if you don't mind road noise and want to walk around the area on a budget, this hotel is my recommendation

There is no value to money, there are a lot of good hotels nearby choose them, don't waste your money here. Dirty bathroom, water heater wasn't working. There is no proper elevator they just converted the luggage lift in to elevator which take too much time to move. Even disposable slippers were not provided by them..

Oh my goshh! Can't believe i just stay in luxurious looks hotel at cheapest price! I book from agoda & got RM90 for 2 days, which means RM45/day! The staff was so nice! Thankyou, will recommend to the families & friends

this hotel is very clean and room is spacious. got lift, very near to famous eatery. u can practicality walk from this hotel to any place around Georgetown (around 1-2km).will repeat to stay in this hotel if coming to penang.

Friendly staff, strategic location to get food and shop but rooms facing road are not sound proof. Can hear noises outside. Bus stand nearby and free bus CAT pass through. Not suit for those prefer to stay in the room coz limited tv channels

I like that the Management's quite graciously allowed us to extend our checkout time by an hour and fifteen minutes for us to shower and packup. room was clean and shower was strong and warm. But the wifi in the room is almost non existent and there was no hair dryer.

Room face to main road is very frustrated during at night, motor sound and lorry sound can wake you up in mid night. Car park slot only available with 5 slot. No convenience especially rainy day. Overall room is clean and tidy.

It's a nice place to stay, most of the important places are walking distance only.. And rooms are clean and beautiful.. Most importantly, the way the staffs greet me with a welcome drinks, Good service and friendly staffs.. Highly recommended !

Perfect location👍, Super- super famous food stall nearby, 💯 centre of Georgetown. 😊Friendly staff. Comfy room and bed to sleep. The place was good value for money.
