Caution: BEDBUGS! After we checked in today we spotted a bedbug on the pillow of our bed. We double checked pics on the internet and are sure it was a bedbug. We immediately informed the staff and were offered another 2 rooms. The beds there were not clean either so we decided to get our bags packed again and searched for another hotel. Very bad experience and we are happy we found the bugs before sleeping there.

Solo trip to Penang The room, the service, the vibe is just awesome. Felt like home. The hotel is at the city. I just rent their bicycle for RM7/day and ride through Georgetown and sightseeing the old architecture.

Well for starters, we had a confirmed booking for the night, arrived at the property, the gentleman in the front even knew who we were and then decided to tell us that he had no space for the evening. He had plenty of time to email us or call us to let us know that there was an issue but chose not to. Not to mention he wouldn’t even let us sit inside in the cool aircon while we tried to make another reservation. He literally kicked us outside in the 37 degree heat. The only people we saw walking in were other Asians so I can only assume because I’m Spanish and my friend is white that he cancelled us due to some sort of racism. The property itself honestly looked terrible, no idea how it has 4 stars. Awful customer service, awful man at the front desk. Save yourself the hassle, especially if you’re not Asian, and don’t stay here.

Great location, nice room. Aside from the WiFi didn't work and when I texted the owner about this I got no response, nor did I get response about a faulty tap in my room that made a continuous high pitched horrid noise that only stopped when you pressed the tap down. So I had to put up with that.

Spacious rooms, clean beds, and good customer service. A lot of lively places, such as Chulia Street, are accessible from the hotel. However, Muslims can barely find halal food in the neighborhood. Thank you Mustafa for amazing customer service.

My family n I stayed (5 adults) @ Aigoh Hotel yesterday n we experienced superb n awesome hospitality from all the staff. We booked 2 rooms n the rooms are super clean. The hotel is near to almost every hot areas in png. It's located in the center of georgetown near to KOMTAR. Some of the hot spots are Teow Cheow Cendul, Wall Paintings, Dim Sum Valet, Line Clear & Hameediyah Nasi Kandar n the best thing is we don’t have to drive to all these areas. The hotel is just walking distance to all these areas. The hotel manager En Mus is very humble, super active, smiley & friendly. He rendered the best customer service I ever got compared to other hotels i've stayed before. The public area staff Mr Alex is also helpful n he rendered us the same hospitality. We had a good memory from this hotel. The price is affordable and I will come back to this hotel - a beautiful hotel with excellent service. But the only thing that the hotel must improve is the WIFI coz it’s slow sometimes. The hotel is using DIGI so i hope the mgt can change it to UNIFI.

The place is very nice. Comfortable with good hygiene. Have a balcony where you can see the beautiful night Komtar Tower view. Near to Dimsum Valet (Muslim Food Product). Near to Pasar Chowrasta. Walking distance. Friendly, responsible and cheerful staff. Suitable for the student with a reasonable price.

Wonderfull place with neighborhood friendly and safe. Easy to catch any public transport , a bit hard reached by taxi or grab as the road infront of hotel between 1.00 pm till 6.00 pm, crowded with pedestrian(walking tourist.). Room was awesome and super clean(1st floor). Staff incharge were super with great politeness and able to share useful information. Defenitely will comeback again .. Pro : #Mr. Mus and Alex are great host. #room was ok after several night with comfy n soft bed and no disturbing noise. #enjoying morning sushine right at my window Con :# As I stay right infront the main hotel door(reception)it was a bit worry as the door seemed to be not fully locked and there is no hotel gate. But, the staff seemed standby for 24hr ( what I appreciate lot). From 1 to 10, if possible😆😆 I will give 9 for this hotel.. Thanks to mr. Mustafa for the journey to airport.

So we were stranded because we booked an inn in expedia which the original owner already sold his business to new owner who is not aware of our booking. Everywhere is full including Aigoh. Encik Mus, the manager has been so kind to help us to secure a room with another lodging. Kudos to such excellent hospitality and warm service. Thank you again Encik Mus

I give 10/10 for d cleanliness of the room i stayed. The smell of d room is good n d interior of d room is simple. Its good that d hotel do not allow food n eating inside d room to maintain d cleanliness. For over 100 years building i consider the hotel is good to stay n worth it. Oh yes...near to Chowrasta, n few famous n viral food in Penang such as Teo Chew Cendol n roti telor goyang frm Hutton Lane, air Sarbat/ Tingkap, Dim Sum. Walking distance!

You need to walk down if you want to go to bathroom and toilet since both are located in the first floor while my room was at the second. The main door was locked when I came back to hostel at around 1 am and the light was off, so you need to wait for the security to open it. The room, bed and wifi were OK.

Nostalgic and super friendly hotel! Remarkable! What can I say... if you prefer authentic homey place to stay, this is the one! Right in the city centre (and exactly at the famous chendol/laksa place) you won't find yourself hungry at all. With the super heartwarming staff, I am 200% I will come back again. Thank you for all the great work! Love you!!!
