This place was awesome! I stayed there with my boyfriend and we got there a few hours early expecting to just check out the lobby, but the front desk said our room wasn’t ready yet so she upgraded us for free to one with a jacuzzi tub in the room! The pool was awesome, so fun even for adults with a giant slide and basketball hoop. It cleared out and we had whole pool to ourselves for from like 9:30-11pm!! So close to downtown and the iron mountain hot springs. I definitely recommend!

The hotel was not as expected in the ad. The room barely had water pressure. We also had to change our own light bulbs upon arrival. There was no outdoor pool, and no outside patio are unless they are counting the two picnic tables near the main entrance. The free breakfast was just cereal, boiled eggs or packaged muffins & pastries. The hotel was very close and convenient to the gondolas for The Glenwood Adventure Park, which was the most convenient aspect of this stay. The staff was very respectful and friendly. With that in mind, it was advertised as a 4-star hotel and is actually a 2-star hotel.

Welcome to Glenwood Springs! One of the best hotels in Glenwood Springs I have ever stayed in. The rooms are clean and smell great. Customer service skills are outstanding. The breakfast in the morning is extremely large and very yummy. So much to do at this hotel there's an arcade in the basement. A enormous swimming area for the kids. Close to all the hot springs and Adventures to enjoy while you're in Glenwood Springs Colorado. Thank you Glenwood

This place could have been a load of fun. For our trip, their indoor water park saved the the day otherwise this trip would have been a total bust. The hotel rooms are basic but well kept, description of the rooms are inaccurate, there are no balconies or private patios. I purchased the hot springs package with the king suite room directly from their website. When checking in, the place was a ghost town. Being late October and during the week I figured it was just off season and not much was happening in glenwood springs. When I asked about the hot springs day passes, staff just looked at me like I was nuts and couldn't provide any information or help to gain the passes included in my booking. On our last day there, I saw a new article about a man committing suicide in the adventure park that is connected to this hotel. This occurred literally 2 days before we arrived. I know that it isn't the resort's fault but it would have been nice to know that this is why everything was unavailable/ghost town. I am disappointed this is how things went and maybe it's different during summer time. I do think staff should be aware of what they offer and be able to explain services to their guests, given we spent nearly $300/night and ended with no experiences that should have been included in our purchase.

Great location! Rooms don’t get cleaned daily like they should… beds made, trash cans emptied, towels refilled. Front desk is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is nothing to brag about.. cereal, yogurt, bagels.. we went out to breakfast each morning. The kids loved the warm indoor pool with basketball hoop!

I can't express enough how amazing the staff here was. They gave us our hot springs tickets even though we were 4hrs early, then upgraded us to a room with bunk beds with out asking because they saw we had little kids. Every request from an ice pack to a restaurant recommendation was met with a smile and every ounce of assistance they could offer. I absolutely will stay here in the future, the room was large, clean, and well taken care of. Thank you ladies for making my family vacation amazing!

We loved that the premises have an indoor mini water park and game room! However, the breakfast is not great and the beds and pillows are so uncomfortable and hard. But it was still a great experience! The front desk staff was always there and very helpful. The maid service doesn't come every day but you can call and schedule it whenever you need it. They were super quick with cleaning our room. We did notice at night we had very weird noises that seemed to come out of our bathroom. Some of the notices sounded like someone slapping the toilet lid, jiggling of our door and sounds of someone running in our bags even though no one was there! Other than that, it was still a good trip!

My family and I go on a yearly trip to Glenwood almost every year, and I was finally old enough to make a decision on what hotel my boyfriend and I would stay at. I was beyond happy with my stay! We stayed the first weekend of August (a super late review 😅) and the check in process was made easy thanks to Chase! Not only was the check in process smooth, Chase went above and beyond for us the next day when my cousin found a snake shed by the river. I brought it to Chase asking about the local wildlife (I'm an avid animal lover, reptiles even more so!) and not only did he do research about it for me, he actually gave me a possible name for the species! (We think it was a gopher snake for anyone curious). The room was also super nice, you could tell everything had been thoroughly cleaned and it was set up really neatly. The breakfast wasn't terrible either! It's not a continental breakfast by any means, I don't believe they advetrise their breakfast like that anyways, but I still enjoyed the food! Overall, I would definitely stay here again in the future

We traveled here from NY! The place wasn’t too busy. Rooms were decently cleaned. The landscaping definitely could use an upgrade, as to why I gave a 4 star. It would give it a more inviting feel and I would have rated 5. Pool was warm and I enjoyed going down the slide even at 34. My mom went down the slide and pretty sure she sprained her ankle. So if you’re an adult be wary! It’s very shallow. They offered a walk way for animals. Breakfast offered a variety of options. Enjoyed my stay here.

Stay was awesome. Staff was amazing and the kids really enjoyed the on-site pool with the slide. Lift tickets and hot springs tickets were included so we managed to get a group of five on a 5 day vacation for less than 2k. Only complaint we had was the bed. They were HORRIBLE! Lumpy and uneven. They also had several layers of protective coverings that kept bunching because they didn’t fit properly. Otherwise no complaints.

Nice location to other places, & clean rooms. Supper disappointed with the fact that the pool was only 3ft and a few in deep, breakfast could definitely be better as there is only cereal, bagels, and pre packaged muffins/pies Game room ate a total of $1.25 and I didn’t even get to play Asked to be moved into a different room since I didn’t need two beds but staff seemed to have no clue about availability or pricing. Definitely not worth the amount of money we spent..

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our entire family! The indoor pool/water park was awesome for our two young kids! The entire hotel was clean and our room was spacious and well kept. We will definitely be coming back!

Good but your not right next to any hot springs the room was nice and staff was semi-good. When you buy Your pass that goes along with the hotel remember to look at the dates it’s not very long. I would definitely never go there on a busy time one elevator slower than dirt staff really doesn’t care to help you get your stuff into your room but they take your money quick good luck. Someone had a major accident in the Jacuzzi by the swimming pool so we weren’t able to use that but the one in our room was quite nice.

This place is grate. We where able to take our dog and it worked out well. The room was nice but lacked a table so we would go to the dinning area to eat takeout and play cards which was really nice. We where also able to make tea and hot coco after hours. They where so welcoming. There was an area to take the dog outside to relive itself. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. The room was roomy. We did have a problem with someone else’s dog barking but we reported it and they took care of it right away. It was a lovely place to stay.

We got a dog friendly room. Very grateful for that. The room was kinda gross. We've stayed in a good share of pet friendly rooms and this one was just yuck. I'm just disappointed. The staff thankfully were very kind and helpful. Got to have access to the pool and arcade while we waited for our room. The free breakfast is very small. Cereal, fruit and yougurt cups. Bagels, muffins and hardboiled eggs. Coffee was good thankfully. Oj on tap 24/7 was kinda nice. Overall I hope the other rooms are nicer.

We just checked in to this hotel. We have 2 rooms almost $1500 for 2 nights. For the price it's not worth it. Just spent 40 minutes cleaning our rooms . The carpart has stains, one of the light fixtures by the bed is hanging over, the walls really need to be painted. Rooms are really out dated. ⁰

Well located attractions like the gondola and hot springs. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable for our single night stay. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub later in the day. The only thing letting the hotel down is the breakfast. We stayed at a string of motels far more basic than this hotel, all of which had far better breakfast offerings.

We had 4 rooms for our family of 12. The unfortunate part of this hotel is that 3 of the four rooms faced the street , and you heard road traffic all night long . Made sleeping very difficult. We were never told that if you want maid service you need to request it so our rooms were not cleaned after the first night . The coffee and complementary breakfast left a lot to be desired .

The location is great for the amusement park. Staff is really friendly, rooms are nice and quiet. They offer a pool, hot tub and water slide. However, the big slide is closed down, and they didn't let us know prior to check-in. When asked for a small discount or anything to accommodate us for the trouble of it being closed, the manager was incredibly rude and came out of the back office with "the pool is open, and we DO NOT offer any discounts for the slide being down". I give management zero stars. Not even an apology.

Always a great place to stay. I always seem to get the same room 415 when I stay there, Fills like home. Love the pool and hot tub and always clean. Only problems were the light switch cover by sink has been broke since I stayed there last November, The picture over desk could also be moved to center desk. (a few years that picture kept falling off wall) There not much to the breakfast they offered.

The art of customer service these days is gone (especially in the hotel industry) - or so I thought. My family stayed at the Hotel Glenwood Springs over Presidents Day Weekend and it was packed. The gentleman up at the front counter, Curtis made us feel welcome, and very comfortable. Made sure we had extra towels for the pool and also made sure we had more than enough bottled waters for our rooms. Excellent service, and although we always come back due to our 10 year old loving the pool, we have never had service like that. 10 stars and highly recommend. A hotel with a mini waterpark and great service = win win!

Great service, nice and clean, The hotel is in a good spot, close to the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Next to the gondolas for the Adventure park and caverns. Recommended and will be booking again for my next trip to Glenwood Springs.

We have drove cross country total of 6,000 miles. This was probably one of the least comfortable stays. Immediately there was hair on the pillows upon going to our room. I’m not one to complain to I checked all other areas of the bed first to see if it was clean. Thinking maybe it was just house keeping’s. The pillows are SO bad. They feel old old old, lumpy, tiny, and so uncomfortable. The bed was like a 90s spring board. All night long was teens below our room, we could hear every conversation and loud shenanigans. The walls are so thin, honestly bring ear plugs. The hallways had like paper pieces all through it looked like it wasn’t vacuumed. The only reason I didn’t give this a 1 star is because the front desk on check in was pleasant. The man was working with the systems down and seemed to have things under control considering the inconvenience of that. And the breakfast was ran smoothly. There was a women making sure everything was clean and always refilled. If you’re staying for comfort or sleep, down expect much though.

Loved the attention they gave my pet! Great hotel close to lots of activities with an awesome pool area. I rode a water slide for the first time in 20 years. It was great fun! I'd definitely stay again!

Honestly very under rated, the hotel has the best pool for kids I've ever seen. The entire pool ranges from 6" all the way to 3'6" and has a awesome slide! The rooms are clean and then when you go to the adventure park the gondola are in the parking lot. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Employees are nice and friendly. This place is great for families with children. The pool warm and clean. It also has a waterside one for young children and one for older children. Hot tube is nice and warm with plenty of room. Rooms are decently sized and quite. The elevator is a little slow but the stairs are perfectly spaced for quick and easy climbing.

Came down for a girls weekend. Stayed here and it was pleasant enough. I would have given 5 stars but their "breakfast" was abysmal. The coffee was the color of water when cleaning your coffee pot and they had next to no actual food. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful place to spend a nice weekend vacation. Very friendly people, great tourist attraction town. Many many amenities offered here, and the room and quality is definitely a 5 out of 5 starts. Highly recommended for families, couples, or even an outing with friends.

Booked for a quick weekend getaway, got there and for whatever reason we didn't get our original room, so we were upgraded. Its a pet friendly hotel which was great, has a pool and all arcade for the kiddos and was way more than I expected. Will definitely stay there again.

The pool was awesome. They have two types of slides which small kids and teens can enjoy. The jacuzzi hot pool was so nice. But no cooked meals were provided in their breakfast and I was dissapointed with that.

Nice place, a little old fashioned inside, but they have an indoor pool, on site laundry, an arcade in the basement and you can walk to the adventure park. We stayed on the I-70 side and it was not loud at all (as I have seen in other posts). I would stay here again. Staff was nice and room was clean. Had a bunk bed for our family of 5, which was great.

Interesting stay. Stayed Monday through Friday. Maybe four cars in lot whole stay. Despite this placed us on the fourth floor with an old rickety elevator. They also have is a wonderful view of the parking lot. Good thing not crowded or would be wait for that. The offered continental breakfast...... About the worst I have seen. Muffins, bananas, cold coffee. Appeared most of stay only one employee in building. Told on arrival that would not be cleaning everyday. I did not realize meant not cleaning at all but we made the best of it. On the positive side do have the indoor heated pool, did bring extra pillows and box fan. Beds relatively comfortable.

It's times like this I wish star ratings had halves. I'd give this place a 4 - 4 1/2. Not blown away five star. Check in was easy although I got all the way to my room and neither door card worked. Had to go back down to get them remade. The room is a king and pretty spacious. The bed is angled towards the door and everything else was oddly placed. The TV wouldn't work when turned on. I had to unplug the cable box, TV, and put everything back together and it found the satellite signal. The AC after running for two days straight at 60 degrees was stuck at like 70. The bathroom was bland and shower just meh. Not a whole lot in the way of toiletries and towels. One looked dirty so we tossed that one. We did head to the pool and hot tub. There were a ton of screaming kids and balls flying at our face (no not kids balls... basketballs from the pool people were throwing at a net). The slide was pretty solid and has a quick pace. The hot tub wasn't at all hot the first day but was much better the second. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Just cereal boxes, drinks, fruit, and some packaged pastries. Then again I came from the last hotel where they did made to order omelettes and had all sorts of hot options. Definitely no comparison. Given our plan and what we were doing, definitely worth staying here. Maybe $50-75 too high per night, but I won't complain.

Rooms are your normal average hotel room, it is nice that they have wood floors and I don't know why hotels don't do this more often. Pool is great for the kids and warm which makes mom happy. Grab and go breakfast is nice and easy and there's a park a very short walk from here. The women working the front desk is very nice and helpful. Everyone that works here has been very friendly Heads up the little cafe on site is closed, I imagine staffing shortage like everywhere else right now

  • 5/5 Sarah W. 2 years ago on Google
This is a great hotel for the price, especially if you are going to the adventure park. We got a suite, So the kids could have their own beds in the room, but with a door between us. The "water park" downstairs was very clean, but it was basically a very nice hotel pool, with one really cool slide. The staff was very nice even though covid has everyone short staffed, and they kept tea and coffee stocked all day. The only downside to this hotel is how far out it is from Glenwood Springs. It's a full 15-20 minute walk to the downtown area and the walk back is uphill.
