The room were clean and very big. The pool was awesome and you must get a massage and the breakfast buffet was never to be missed. Great place to stay when on vacation

I just went there to park my workmate's car, because we had to go to another city. It was great because this is a 24 hour parking lot and, when we went back there, at 3am, it was open. So useful.

A fantastic experience while in Guatemala City. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant with incredible food.

Had a 3 night stay and really enjoyed the hotel. When pulling up to it, it’s a sight to see! Very beautiful and modern. The front desk staff was amazing and the room with the Mountain View was spectacular! Even being attached to a mega mall was a convenient if we needed a quick bite. Will definitely recommend if staying in the Guatemala City area.

The hotel looked exactly as how it does online. The service was 5 stars and very professional. Even though Spanish isn't my first language, Marlon (front desk) , Darling (breakfast buffet), and many others were very helpful and understanding .I would love to visit again for longer.

We recently stayed here and the service had some slight issues, some policies did not make sense and were not enforced with other guests, hence the 3 stars instead of 5. More on that later. However, it is an amazing hotel. It was wonderfully decorated. A beautiful lobby and the rooms are gorgeous with views of the city as well. The breakfast was very delicious although the coffee had a mint kind of flavor that I wasn't used to. The issues: The first issue was upon check-in. the front desk rep was hesitant to allow us to check in without passports. Nowhere on the website does it state that passports are required. They did allow us to check in after verifying our i.d.s instead but it was after a lot of back and forth. At this point, the rep was becoming unfriendly and cold to us. At no point did we lose our temper, we were trying to be just as friendly and simply questioning their policies when it was not presented to us upon booking. The next issue had to do with the rooms and the number of guests per room. Only 4 guests are allowed in each room. We understood that policy, so we booked 2 rooms. Originally, we were going to have 4 guests in each room but 2 of our family members could not make it so 2 guests in one room and 4 in the other. For some reason, the cashier found issue with this as 3 of the guests were minors. We clarified that there would be an adult in each room to supervise. After some back and forth, the cashier allowed it and moved on. Another issue was that the celebration package I had booked was no longer available. The hotel had contacted me via WhatsApp that morning and advised this. They had stated that the family package would be added instead of the celebration package as a free upgrade. They asked if that was ok and I responded on WhatsApp of course! Who wouldn't want an upgrade? Well, when we were checking in, the rep advised the package we had booked was no longer available and we would have to pay a large fee to complete check-in or we wouldn't have any of the perks advertised. I advised the above, that on WhatsApp we had already discussed this. The rep made a phone call to confirm. After another wait, the rep finally confirmed we could go ahead but there would still be a small upgrade charge. Not what was advised originally, but at that point, we just wanted to check in and agreed. The room, view, room service, and food were all amazing. The only other issue was at the pool. They advised children are not allowed in the spa. Kind of strange as every other hotel we've ever stayed at that allowed this. Other guests were taking their kids in the spa with no issues. No one said a word. So, we let our kids join us for family time. Only a few minutes later, an employee immediately came to stop this. We understand the policy, it was just a bit cold that others were allowed to and we were not. Overall, the stay felt a bit unfriendly with all of these issues. Instead of a 5-star experience, it just felt cold, even with the amazing amenities and vibes. In the future, we may stay again but if another more friendly hotel was available, we'd definitely stay with them instead.

This has been my favorite hotel, since I've been coming to Guatemala. Besides the mall with foodcourt and many restaurants to choose, waiting the hotel premisses is very convenient; if you are here for pleaseru.

Revisited again still a Luxury place . Everything you want in one place . I absolutly loved it and will be staying here more often , when im visiting the city

This Hotel is located just few minutes from the Airport. It has a huge mall in it, totally separated from the Hotel. With a very high quality services and more.

I stayed there for 4 days. My time spend there was wonderful, very good customer service, except at the pool. I had to get my own food and drinks at the bar because the one waiter never came to see if we needed anything. But as soon as I left, I can't believe they stole from my credit card, they stole $35+ for a breakfast I never had. and it has taken me more than two months for me to get my money back. IDC about $35 but the principle is what I care about. They asked me for my receipts to prove I wasn't there. Does this make sense to anyone? Until this day I still have not received my money back. I have been speaking to a manager names Salvador and he has been useless, 0% customer service. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN!! DO NOT GO HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TO BE STOLEN FROM YOUR CARD TO EVER NOTICE!

A beautiful experience,close to everything,it is place where you feel pamper, the gym it was nice to have,sauna. I had a wonderful time.

Stayed one night. Average class hotel. No complaint. The employees were polite. Had a good night sleep.

My family couldn’t get to the hotel because THE ENTIRE CITY HAD ITS ROADS BLOCKED OFF BC OF A COUNTRY WIDE PROTEST and they refused to refund us. Horrible how this place is opportunistic especially during a time like this.

Loved it, they spoke both English and Spanish, and very hospitable. The breakfast was amazing as well

Great hotel, fantastic daily breakfast

The check in process was perfect and the hotel is great. We had trouble with parking as no one explained how it worked. The attendant was helpful but needed the manager. Once he showed up we had a lot of issues. The first was not explaining how it worked. The second was he kept asking us if we were drunk because we didn't know how it worked. After explaining a few times, he then let us know how it worked. No apologies for misunderstanding from him, all he did was tell us to keep moving.

My husband and I were here last year, and really enjoyed our visit 🤩 Tikal Futura made us feel at home even though it was my husband’s first time in Guatemala, our room was perfect and the view to the volcano 🌋 simply beautiful. Food was amazing, the staff was very nice and polite! And we stayed there for 3 weeks 🙌🏼 . We are planning our next visit and definitely staying here again . Thank you guys see you soon!

Not very happy with my latest stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, the check-in was kind of rude, and couple of other things that make my stay uncomfortable. Hope they take care of the issues for next time if there is another time in the hotel.

It's very pretty. Has a lovely breakfast brunch. Staff are fabulous. Had a few issues in the rooms. The lobby staff could be a bit more gracious.

Love this place ,5th floor with view of volcano 🌋 😍, food was amazing 9n the second floor 😋 " Argentine Pizza" service, the employee accommodating all my demands as outrageous as a person can be. Love it .

I always treat myself to a stay in Thw Grand Tikal when I visit Guatemala City. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms.

Affordable luxury (at least with an early booking). Room was delightfully comfortable, staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was the best I've encountered. The amenities included or available, plus the easy access to shopping centers and food courts, were an added bonus.

Are you kidding me? Beautiful place with good service nice pool and right next to malls and shopping. Im glad its safe and secure but the security people should be less like guards and more subtle more guest friendly

Everything is fine there. Awesome and the food is great. The only thing I think is missing, better schedules in the spa and all their services

Tikal Futura scenery, ambiance is over the top. Would I stay again? Most definitely!! We ran into a little issue with the A/C in our room not working. And I’m about 20mins we were in a new room. The staff goes over and beyond to help us with any and everything. Always get the papas fritas (French fries) I think it’s the best in the city

It is surrounded by a lot of shops and different places to visit, also has good food.

The hotel room overall was clean. But when showering, the drain was clogged and the tub would just fill up. They didn't supply us with enough towels. We had tried calling the main desk several times with no answer. We ate breakfast in the dining area and while the food was good and hot, fresh, the service could've been a bit faster. They were very polite but walked past us several time while we sat and waited to sign the ticket.

This hotel was amazing!! It was a tough decision for me as there were a few hotels also close by with more excellent reviews. I hesitated going with Tikal. But, I was drawn to its modern features. We couldn’t be happier here. Everyone has been great from check in to the restaurant to our massages. Definitely recommend!!!

SECOND TIME HAVING A BAD EXPERIENCE IN TIKAL FUTURA, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER IN ELEVEN BAR, VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES, I WROTE A USELESS COMPLAINT IN DIACO BOOK BECAUSE I KNOW NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR THE HORRIBLE TIME THEY MADE ME GO THROUGH. I will never visit this hotel again, neither eleven bar or hibiscus restaurant.

We (husband and baby) stayed here while traveling through Guatemala and it was a very pleasant visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is so convenient and felt safe since they have many stores that are only an elevator away. They don't have a shuttle service but the taxi company they work with was great, picked us up with no problems and cost was around $12USD. Bkfast buffet was convenient and we overall enjoyed out stay. May not be a luxury stay, but definitely recommended.

Cleaning staff ring the doorbell once and immediately entered the room. Didn't even give me a chance to get to the door. Sleep with your clothes on.

The hotel amenities were exceptional. The fitness center was well-equipped, an outdoor pool provided a refreshing escape with beautiful surroundings. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

The service was excellent and I will definitely recommend it, the food was delicious and the location is also great.
