Great atmosphere and food! Sit in the bar side if you’re looking to have a nice evening out without kids! Staff is super nice and very helpful! Food is fantastic!

Place was fairly quiet for lunch on Friday. Decor was clean, simple and modern. Waitresses were all pleasant. Lunch was fairly expensive, they got the order wrong, and the ceasar salad had browning lettuce, no bacon and hardly any dressing! Fries were average, soup was good but tasted exactly like campbells gourmet soup from a carton. Not sure if I'd go back! UPDATE - I was contacted by the manager who could not have been more receptive and understanding of my reservations on ever returning. I was impressed by the concern and time he took to reply. Customer service today seems to be lacking at times but this went above and beyond, thank you. I have since upgraded my score. Maybe next visit will achieve 5 stars!

We ordered nachos, tacos and letture tofu wraps as always tacos were amazing as well as their ambience was fantastic. Price of their food is equally proportionate to quality and quantity. I had best service. Would highley recommend this place.

I have eaten from one side of our country to the other - north to south - east to west, I've cooked for 20+yrs, at home and in recognized establishments.. Not once until this evening have I ever enjoyed a meal, as much as one of my own. Tonight, I was fully satisfied with each course I was served, along with the drinks (I formally spent 7+yrs bartending as well, including fine dining) For me to fully appreciate a meal out as much as one of my own that I spent time preparing - is astonishing to me. I 110% recommend this location for not only the delectable food, but quality service as well. I enjoyed the open kitchen atmosphere as well, it was wonderful to watch all the chefs, including the young and aspiring, to prepare my meal with such finesse. Well done Moxies Bayers Lake, from front end staff - kitchen - management. You all provide a lovely experience and atmosphere to dine in. Thank You. Cheers!

Simply a fantastic experience at Moxies. This is a great location for great food, a comfortable, warm and inviting atmosphere, and a great place to enjoy a slightly upscale meal. Our server was very friendly, helpful, prompt and professional. Our food arrived on time and was well-presented, fresh and tasty. Notable was the price of wine, which I found to be very affordable and competitively priced. Overall a great visit and highly recommended. I strongly recommend making a reservation just to make sure you get a table without having to wait.

First time dining here. Service was great. Food was all over the place. I was looking for a great place for family dinner with minimal to no wait time. Moxies was our third option. We were pleased with the different options available on the menu. We started with the Truffle fries. Great flavor and tasty!!! I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders 2/10. Disappointing!!!! Frozen tenders!!!! I was hoping for freshly made tenders!!! I should have asked! The waitress fixed it. She got me some chicken wings. Manager dropped it off without any geniune care or asking if we were satisfied. Better than the tenders!!! The burger was well seasoned. Ordered the chicken alfredo and the beef vindalo for takeout. Packaging was outstanding! Food stayed close enough to fresh till we got home. Alfredo Chicken was lacking the creamy element of a great Alfredo sauce 6/10! Beef vindaloo was tasty!!!7.5/10. Spicy Lime Margarita was amazing! Overall service made up for the sub-par food quality.

I recently celebrated my birthday with my family at Moxies Bayers Lake Restaurant and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The service was top-notch, the food was excellent, and the location was conveniently accessible. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Our orders were promptly taken and the food arrived in a timely manner. Speaking of the food, it was exceptional. The dishes were beautifully presented, tasted amazing, and the portion sizes were generous. It was evident that the ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. We were extremely satisfied with our meals. The location of the restaurant is also convenient, making it easy to access. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend Moxies Bayers Lake Restaurant. The combination of good service, excellent food, and convenient location made my birthday dinner an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Great location with lots of parking out front as it’s part of the Bayers Lake area. The atmosphere is classy, with booths for families to sit in and enjoy lunch and dinner. The service is was great, we were a large table and they did a great job at splitting us up and making sure everyone was well taken care of, truly great service. The food was delicious, they have plenty of options for various types of eaters. As a vegetarian the Beyond meat burger is my favourite. Lastly, if you go here you have to try the white chocolate brownie it is out of this world. Overall, very happy with atmosphere, staff and food!

Visited Moxie for the first time and really liked it. Food was delicious, very quick service, server was very nice. Overall it was very nice and definitely visiting again. Thank you Moxie for the wonderful experience.

Not nearly as good as Dartmouth Crossing. Ordered the same food but it was so overly salted we couldn't finish it. Our server was lovely. If you are going to charge over 20 per appetizer you might wish to think portion sizes...I know prices have gone up but value for money is key.

Went for lunch; our waitress was professional, helpful, attentive and friendly. My husband had the burger - which was a safe choice, but nothing special. The fries were excellent!! I had chicken Madeira rigatoni and could not have been happier - it was an amazing dish. Our potstickers were delish, and the mimosa, just perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Their Wednesday Half-price wines and very good-tasting appetizers make for a nice evening and one can easily be satisfied with say sharing a bottle of wine and three appetizers between two people. Their main course offerings have never been anything to concern their competitors, except for their curries. They now have new main course offerings that look like they could be worth trying, so hopefully, that has been a good change. We'll have to see.

Great place to go for a date or hit the bar with friends to chat and watch the game. I heard tuna tacos is to die for. I am more a cheese fan, so ricotta cheese with tomatoes is my new favorite. Winds and steaks are also very decent. Great place to accomodate everyone's taste.

I went here to celebrate my spouse's birthday. The food was really good and didn't take too long to get to the table. Our server seemed like they may have been new and didn't do the best but seemed like they were trying. I was pretty amazed with the presentation of the free birthday dessert. The calamari was cooked to perfection and both sauces tasted really good. The burger tasted really good as did the fish. We went with another couple, who ordered "fries for the table" off the menu I can't remember the price for them but for the amount that came we were very disappointed. Other than that it was a great experience.

Always a good experience here. James the bartender is super friendly and treats us well. Food is delicious and always fresh.

Ordered the soup & salad. Ourselves came back & advised no soup available. So I ordered the chicken lettuce wrap. It was excellent. My server came back, said she felt bad & comped the chicken salad. I didn't want to have a zero bill so I ordered the key lime pie. It was great. Our server was excellent

The chicken pasta with garlic bread is divine. Bree was an excellent host. Food is a bit pricy but more than makes it up in quality, which is not always the case. Highly recommend this place!

We found hair in the steak and had to get it back, but overall we were satisfied.

Went with my husband and 2 boys. Meal was excellent. Manager came by to talk to my husband because he mentioned he has a shellfish allergy. The Waitress was really great. Food was awesome. We had nachos to start, I had Shrimp Tacos, my husband had the Pasta dish, my oldest son had the Black Bean tacos and koy other son had the chicken sandwich. All really great! Moxies never disappoints.

The food was good and the service was as well, but the resturant temp was freezing cold. We asked to be moved to the bar area because it was warmer, but were told by the hostess we could not move because we had placed our order. The poke bowl was very good.

Best friend was visiting and we were craving good steaks and this place did not disappoint. Service was excellent. Drink menu is great, lots of options.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Moxie's in Bayer’s Lake, Halifax. The food was incredibly delicious, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The service was impeccable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant with soft background music. It was the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family, and the drinks were also quite enjoyable. I highly recommend Moxie's for a great dining experience.

Often go to Moxies. Went on a quiet night, server forgot my request for water, totally. I did enjoy the specialty drink the bartender made. Staff were very polite and kind, but not totally on top of things. Disappointed in the food as well. Great taste, but more filler than chicken in the lettuce chicken wrap, especiallygiven the price. Not the best evening.

We happened to visit Moxies once in the Bayers lake and came across a good serviced restaurant in the vicinity. It has a cool vibe, pleasant outdoor garden, energetic audio visual bar, especially for game nights, lovely staff and a healthy and hygenic environment overall. As we did a walk-in, without prior reservation, we were accommodated quickly and per se our convenience. The wheat beer tasted good and their colorful and tasty Nachos along with Chicken wings made our evening special. Will visit again for sure with my friends..
