When we arrived at the hotel we were told that there was no booking in my partner's Indian name. He had booked and paid for the hotel but after a long wait informed us that they had made the reservation in my name instead! Racist and unhelpful staff. The hotel itself is okay but the front desk staff are a disgrace.

Rooms are refreshed (2023), basic, clean, but with all the essentials. Breakfast was a hot and continental buffet, with boil your own eggs!

We had a great stay at Hotel Magellan ! Friendly staff, nice and clean hotel, good breakfast that can be taken in the garden. The location is great and the hotel has lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood. This is a 3 star hotel but worth a lot more Should we ever come back to Paris we would book this hotel again.

We booked this for our anniversary. The rooms were super sleek and modern - absolutely beautiful. I was not expecting the amount of choice at breakfast, which was fantastic for us. Lovely continental meats and cheeses. The staff were helpful and the housekeeping team is truly fantastic. Location is ideal for Paris. 10/10 from us.

Such polite, friendly staff . Absolutely spotless rooms and communal areas . Breakfast good , staff very helpful. Highly recommended as location very close to metro and trains and walking distance to some key tourist attractions too .

Everything was amazing! Breakfast lady was very caring, positive and always smiling. The breakfast choice could've been bigger with maybe a bit more hot foods, other than that it was amazing! Rooms are kinda small, but this hotel has rooms bigger than lots of others in Paris. Stayed for 3 nights and definitely will return someday, all tourism objects easy accessible with bus Nr. 92. They also have a luggage room, so you can leave your luggage there in your last day after check out and go for a walk before going to airport.

Das Personal ist freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet übersichtlich und trotzdem für jeden etwas dabei. Die Zimmer sind klein aber sauber und mit Bügeleisen ect versehen. Die Metro gut erreichbar und auch ein paar Bistro/Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn ich nach Paris gehe werde wieder dort buchen.

The hotel itself was nice, but was told the hotel was full when we first got there and had to move to a different hotel, even though we booked three months in advance! Looking through the comments on google, seems like it’s a common issue at this hotel. However, we did get upgraded on the second night, but the front desk refused to pay for our taxi fare back, even though it’s not our fault that we had to stay at a different hotel that 20 minutes walking distance. No communications between the front desk personales.

The worst reception you can imagine, rude not helpful and sarcastic. Parking is not available at the hotel and its fake advertising on Expedia. Definitely dont do breakfast as you are better off eating anywhere else then here. We were going to stay two nights and decided to change hotels for the second night and lose the money for the second night just not to here, This is how bad it was! The rooms are tiny and extremely noisy. The two reception girls did not care about anything. Probably hate tourists or anyone who speaks english and not french. English speaking tourists beware.

Just visited Paris for the first time. Hôtel Magellan gave us everything we wanted. Extremely comfortable accommodation, vast selection of food at breakfast, very friendly and efficient staff. Very good location for visiting Paris because after a busy day in the city it's back to a quiet,very clean very comfortable hotel. Thankyou to all the staff for such a fantastic holiday. Ps. Plenty of pharmacies available lol

I really like the hotel itself. The staff was very kind and helpful which goes a very long way with our stay. As much as I want to give this hotel 5 stars I just can't. First the room they gave up was extremely small for us two. Secondly no mini fridge or microwave was available for use or even a ice machine on our floor. We could of did without the microwave in our room but a mini fridge or access to ice was a must as we like to keep cold drinks in our rooms. Guests should have access to at least a few microwaves in the lobby area to warm food. Lastly no access to any kind of vending machines for snacks and drinks but the location was excellent Enough to where they had a nice convience store near by. With that being said the location was good as they were plenty of restaurants nearby. They was metro nearby and about a twenty minute walk to the arc de triomope. Just wish the metro was a tad closer. The staff was excellent and thanks to Allison and the other lady with black hair I can't pronounce her name but they extremely helpful and made sure we knew how to get anywhere in Paris we wanted to go by metro. Even made sure there was a taxi waiting for us to get us to the airport at checkout. The area was nice and the hotel was spotless and the room cleaners were extremely excellent as they cleaned our rooms daily. Even though they were some things we would of liked more this still wouldn't stop us from staying at this hotel on our next visit to Paris. Thank you hotel Magellan for a good stay.

Location , breakfast was good. No lift , difficulty to carry luggage to first floor

Good hotel, ideal location only 10 mins walk from arc de triomphe, nice rooms with good facilities, spot on breakfast with very friendly staff, would recommend & definitely stay there again.

Very nice place! A quiet hotel with 5 floors and approximately 40-50 rooms. Very quiet, very clean and lovely and friendly staff. The breakfast was very good! During our visit (August2020) there was a scaffolding on the street. We had a room towards the inner courtyard so that was not a big deal. The scaffolding should be gone in a couple of days. There is a small bar which serves beer, wine and drinks but no cocktails.

I had a Really nice stay here , the staff were friendly, quick and responsive , Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and modern with comfy bed and great ac and beautiful garden .

Ein wunderbar charmantes, typisch französisches Hotel mitten in Paris. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof/Garten im Nebengebäude. Das Zimmer war zwar nicht groß aber gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr ruhig. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam und das Frühstuck reichhaltig. Wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen aber auch die nächste Metrostation war nicht weit. Es hat alles gepasst und wir würden dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
