Had a truly terrible experience with my stay for my friend's wedding. We were placed in a room surrounded by rooms being renovated and the noise is unbearable. We were hoping to get a nap after our red-eye and were constantly woken up by what sounded like furniture being slammed against the walls. At one point it sounded like someone slammed into our door and we walked out to workers sitting in front of our room having coffee and it looks like rolling around in chairs. We were then woken at 7:45 a.m. by even more slamming on our walls which was just a cherry on top of a frustrating experience. We had to crawl over construction debris to get to our room and there's dust everywhere. The staff is polite but truly it feels like there's no regard for customer experience. Doubly frustrating is that my friend put out a room block for her wedding and I immediately booked the wedding night, when I called to add days they told me to book online and call back to merge the reservation. I did that and then later found out that by doing that I didn't get the free breakfast included with the wedding rooms. Further we asked last night if breakfast was available and they said yes but didn't tell us it wasn't complementary. We had breakfast the next morning with zero indication it wasn't a free breakfast until we were asked to pay $40 for powdered eggs. It would have been acceptable for a free breakfast but for $40 I could have gone to a restaurant. The hotel is far from anything at all, on a Freeway with all the noise of cars zooming by all night and is pretty run down. Overall cannot recommend this hotel - truly a terrible experience all around.

hello, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza a couple days ago and was very dissatisfied the room I stayed in smelled of cat urine or dog pee, they should have ask me if I wanted a room that a dog or cat stayed in I will never come here again whenever I'm in the Houston area and, none of the people doing the cleaning spoke any English. When i was there they were in the process changing out room carpets but i didn't get a room with new carpet for the amount of money i paid this is very unacceptable i called twice and ask for upper management and haven't spoken to anyone yet. I will get to the bottom of this........

Nice quiet hotel. Service is top notch everywhere. Front desk was friendly and helpful, house keeping did a fine job, and the restaurant / bar people were attentive. The food was better than I expected. We felt like valued guests the whole time we were there and wanted for nothing. Parking was free and close, an added bonus. The decor is tasteful but presents an 80's hotel vibe. Some of the furniture in our room could have used a refresh and one of the seats in the dining room had some spots that should have been replaced or renewed. Overall we felt the rooms and hallways were just a tad too dark. Our suite had a wetbar, microwave, and bar refrigerator that were clean and functional. There are many empty drawers and cabinets; I was hoping to find some glasses etc. We faced the Katy freeway and had noise most of the night. It's expected at that location but still woke us up from time to time. All in all it's value for our dollar and I would stay there again.

Had a weekend stay with the family. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were very friendly throughout the whole place. It was really hot in the hallways but that was expected with the heat from outside (100+ heat index) but it seemed like there was only one elevator working during the weekend which was the only draw back I could find. I'd definitely stay here again, right near the highway and you couldn't even hear it in the rooms.

My friends and I went to visit for a girl's trip and we booked this hotel. The service was awesome, no complaints from staff when we asked for extra blankets, towels and rags. Customer service was absolutely wonderful! Room service was superb. I have no complaints with my stay!

The front desk is very professional and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. Just like any hotel room, it could use mire plugs for charging (the ones in the lamp won't stay plugged in they just fall out. Also, lighting could be better). The breakfast is what it is. Overall recommended

Fine stay! I've stayed at this location several times over the past few months, and never had any sort of serious issue! To the contrary, everyone I've ever interacted with has been professional and friendly, and quick to help with any issue I may have. Ni Made and Britney are the staff names that I remember, but everyone was always great. The rooms I've had were clean and well maintained. The location is ideal. The restaurant on-site is also quite good. All around a great time! Will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel staff is very friendly. The restaurant had good food, but the room was a mess. First, the smell was the first thing that slapped me in the face when I opened the door... Like of old mildew clothes. I should have changed rooms at that point but it was late and I was exhausted. Hubby sprayed a bit of cologne to mask it. Sadly you get used to the smell until you leave and come back. There was a huge rip in the couch... and my God, I woke up and realized the other side of my pillow had stains difficult to describe... like someone dyed their hair black and went to sleep on it... And the entire day I kept wondering, did I have my face on that??? Granted this is an older hotel. I don't expect it to be super modern but good Lord, cleanliness shouldn't be compromised... Especially for the cost.

Hotel is undergoing renovation. Front desk and restaurant staff were polite. Not a pleasant experience. Stayed here 5 or 6 years ago. It's a high volume place that needs the updating. I'm sure it'll improve.

My family and I would like great quality of hospitality tha received from the hotel staff at this site on our last stay. I would especially like to send Kudos to Roderyck Maddison who delivered excellent customer service at what seemed to be a busy time. He remained courteous and professional which was remarkable. Definitely will be staying again.

We stayed at this hotel because we were in town for the reggae festival. Check in was painless however, the night was a bust. When we first got to our room, the keys didn’t work. Maintenance had to let us in. So, then they get us a new set. We leave to get ice, key doesn’t work again upon return. We had to be let in manually by a hand held machine. The hallways were so Hot on our floor that it was sweating the door and key fob and shortening it out. We went to the restaurant down stairs same thing when we returned, and again when we went to the pool. I felt so bad for the maintenance guy he was sooooo understanding but he told us that this was a issue with half the hotel. He literally opened that door for us maybe 7 times that night and that’s unfortunate because we paid to be safe and comfortable not standing out side our room 5-10 minutes everytime we needed to get in to wait for someone to open it. The toilet barely flushed but we couldn’t move to another room because most were having the same issue. Please work on the heat within the hotel so this doesn’t happen it’s inconvenient and just unprofessional. Pool area was nice and relaxing and the food at the restaurant was pretty good.

Upon check in, we went to our room only to find out the key card/lock would not work. The concierge was very helpful and said he'd send the engineer up to assist. We waited about 10 minutes, but I understand the engineer was very busy assisting with other patrons' key card/lock issues. So we had to leave the hotel for dinner and come back. The concierge said he would have the engineer test the card/lock to ensure we would be able to get into our room later that evening. Upon our return to the hotel room, we still could not get in. We contacted the night concierge, and she called the engineer. We waited another 15 minutes for him to show up. At that point, he troubleshot the issue and could not get into the room. He said he would need other tools to get us in. So we waited another 10 minutes in the hot and muggy hallway for him to come back with crowbars. He was finally able to get us in; this was after about 30 minutes total of waiting in the hot hallway. Now I do not blame the engineer or concierges; they were just doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. But a very nice hotel like yours should have a better fail safe system in place than crowbars. Kind of scary that someone could pry open a room with a small crowbar or two.

Front desk staff are great, but the rooms with suites with hideaway beds are beyond repair. Most of them are broken and good luck trying to sleep on them there horrendous. They need to start replacing these asap! I highly recommend staying away from the suites if you have party of more then 4 as there now way these hideaway beds are usable. The rest of rooms are decent, no other complaints

We live around the corner but we decided to book our stay for my daughter's Quinceañera celebration to make her weekend even more special. The place is massive! The lobby is beautiful filled with plenty of seating, a bar and dining area. Check in was very smooth and the receptionist was very friendly. when we arrived to our room we had no issues, everything was clean and organized. We had a view which was super exciting! The bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet, even though that weekend it was BUSY! I decided to get a drink at the bar and the drink was pretty good, the price is a bit steep but it was okay. On Saturday after we arrived at night from my daughter's birthday celebration it was extremely cold and we had a ton of gifts and bags and the receptionist lady helped us all the way to our room because she was in her big beautiful dress and she complimented her. That was very sweet to help. Check out was smooth and our stay was spectacular. We will be recommending everyone here!

The hotel over all was nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was filling and a decent price at $16.99 per person. The bar service was good, the bartender was so nice and easy to chat with, the drink prices were steep though. The hotel had a small pantry of snacks and supplies, poorly stocked and what was there was very expensive. Over all a good experience. We would stay there again.

My stay was amazing! I just wish it was longer. The staff was very nice and friendly. When I got to my room, it had a funny smell and a stain on the blanket🤢. I called the front desk and Shelia immediately apologized and got me moved to another room. There was still something in the air that irritated my allergies, not sure if it came from the carpet or the air conditioning system but the room was super comfortable! Everything was clean and the view of the city was amazing. The bed was soft, fluffy, and comfortable as well. My nose was stopped up but I still slept like a baby! Lol I’ll definitely be back, I’ll just need to make sure take my allergy meds first.

Nick, was the agent that checked me in. He had the best hospitality and customer service I've seen in a while. He actually helped me choose which room would accommodate my family best. He was very patient and very knowledgeable of the property. The breakkfast was great as well. If you visit Houston, this would be a perfect place to stay!

Stopped in from San Antonio for the night only bc I was seeing a show. The staff is so incredibly friendly and for the most part, everything was clean. Clean bathroom, floors perfectly vacuumed/mopped. Great presentation all around. Parking is a little tricky at night. Location is pretty optimal. My only issues were that the sheets had a giant yellow stain in the middle and there was some sort of dried on filth/crust on the remote. Both were incredibly hard to miss. If the sheets were in my house I’d throw them out, like why would you put something so unsightly where people sleep? I didn’t check the bed when I checked in, just got food, changed and left for the show. I got in super late from the show and ended up getting a blanket from my car and slept on the side. This would’ve been a fantastic stay otherwise.

Hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and customer centric. The food quality at the restaurant was excellent for dinner. The bartender, Celmey, was not only skilled and professional in her service, but was very personable. I had the pleasure of also meeting the director of operations at this hotel and was very impressed by his dedication to meeting the needs of customers and ensuring my experience was nothing less than exceptional. If I come back to Houston again, I will absolutely be back here.
