Always an excellent stay and Ms Lisa resolved some tenant issues that came up with my room neighbor. The rooms are in great shape, everything is clean and modern, the on site breakfast is excellent and the rooftop pool and hot tub worked with no issue. Great views, great room, great staff. Top marks all around. Even the garage felt clean, secure and easy to get in and out of. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it.

Great experience. Staff very friendly and welcoming at all times. The night front desk who worked on 1/22 (middle-aged woman forgot her name, superb service.) Valet was always quick to bring car. Easy in/out of hotel. Can't say enough about the cleanliness of this hotel. Glad I switched from the Westin Oaks Galleria. Despite the travel time to/from the Galleria area; it's the small things make it worth it. Loved the room upgrade. This might be my new favorite hotel in Houston. Will Def be back to visit/stay soon.

I thought this was a good hotel, very disappointed unfortunately. You should consider staying somewhere else instead, especially if you have guests visiting Houston or Anniversary events. Also, the room doesn’t even have a microwave, you will have to go up to the 18th floor, as that is the only place the hotel provides the microwave, and there’s only one cheap microwave, so you might want to get in line first, because there may be people waiting as well. The hallways were cleaned and beautiful, but the bed sheets in the hotel room were dirty and some color stains on it. And there’s a low water pressure in the shower. I just couldn’t believe I paid so much, including the parking, for this hotel. But I felt like I was staying in a $50 hotel. I’m embarrassed in front of my boyfriend.

Nice gift shop, most of the items are at a lower price but what do you expect in a 4-star hotel in the middle of a bustling major metropolis fourth largest city in this country? Really what do you expect, what can you expect, what can you expect from life? Not a whole hell of a lot to tell you the truth. You get out of it what you put into it! "And in the end the love that you take, is equal to the love you make!"

If you like paying $200.00 a night for a room that the AC is set on 65 and AC vent is turn towards the window and barely blowing and warm in the room! Most of the wall sockets don't work and trying to get dress was a nightmare. Be sure when you get your room card to tap it on the sensor or you can't stop at your floor... thinking the front desk should tell you at check-in and if you leave your bags and hang up clothes with them before check-in make sure you secure your hangup clothing, the lady brought my very $$$dress half hanging and dragging the floor. Know one offer to help and no bell hop insite. Valet took forever to find my keys.. other worker had them in his pocket. Because I was helping setup a wedding I was in and out and chose not to use self parking $15.00 daily or $25.00 a night the valet kept my vehicle closes by. In bed after 3am and woke up from the smoke alarm at at 6am going off over and over. Got dress went downstairs to complain at this point. All had to said what floor.. not I'm sorry for any inconvenience..nothing same at check-out after telling them again about my room and stay. A worker standing the front desk maded a comment Sarcastically it was to smoke alarm.. it happens! Had to be the worst experience I've ever had stay at a hotel.

Beautiful venue. Horrible experience. When a bride and groom book at a venue with a vendor you are basically in a one year relationship with them. Everything was perfect until we signed the papers and gave our deposit. After that my sales rep changed, treatment changes, answers suddenly changes. Do not have your wedding here. Especially if you're having a southasian wedding. I don't need to type an essay here but the venue knows how to take advantage of ethnic weddings with extra charge, secret charges and much. more. They did not work well with us in term of our room block, they did not do half they things they said they would assist with during the actual wedding week. I could go on for days but all in all I wish I booked the Hilton where my sister had her wedding because the experience they provided her was 10/10 and her wedding was double the size of mine. I should have trusted my gut and listened to all 20 other family members that have been to a wedding here in the past or dealt with this venue in the past. Hotel business is not foreign to south asians. We own hotels and we know how it goes and we know for a fact we were not taken care of at this venue and treated very unfairly.

I had a wonderful experience here. Perfect setup for solo travelers. Parking was easy and convenient in the hotel’s parking garage. The skybridge also made for a safe walk to target and the shops across the street. The rooms were also sparkling clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Don’t stay at this hotel!! My engagement ring was stolen from my hotel room and they have done NOTHING to try and help me rectify the situation. They have not been cooperative in the investigation opened by the claims department and it has truly been a disappointment. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and I am devastated at treatment I have received.

We stayed here one night for an anniversary celebration. At check in the front desk asked if we were celebrating anything. When we told her our anniversary she gave us vouchers for cocktails in their restaurant or bar. We were able to use their skybridge to make the short walk to Memorial City Mall for a dinner reservation. The room was nice and clean. I liked the tile flooring with the plush rug around the bed. The complimentary toiletries were very high end and had a fresh scent. We liked the entertainment choices around the area. We would definitely like to come back.

Not what I expected from a Westin Hotel, especially at the price rate these rooms go for. Our hotel view from the 14th floor faced west towards the Katy area. It would of been a nice view if it wasn’t for the windows being so foggy/dirty on the outside due to a constant water fall from several floors above - maybe from the pool? At first we thought it was raining outside, but nope, just water falling from somewhere above our floor throughout the duration of our stay. Even though it was a non smoking floor, the hallway on our floor smelled like a smokers home, penetrated cigarette smoke on the carpets, walls, etc. The shower door didn’t close all the way, which allowed for water to leak out onto the restroom floor. The younger lady from reception had a bit of an attitude when we asked about hotel policy. Oh, and fyi, $25 per night for parking. I did like that the memorial city mall was connected via the sky bridge. However, I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

I attended as part of a convention, and the venue was beautiful. The view from the public areas from 3rd and 4th floor are nice. The IT worked as expected and the food was above expectations for a convention hotel venue. It was a very pleasant experience.

I'm Titanium with Marriott, and as an avid business traveler, having a comfortable room is critical to my well-being. Life on the road can be brutal and finding time to recenter myself can be difficult. This hotel is worthy of the 5 stars I've given it. The hotel is posh and has everything you need. I had some small issues with the HVAC and telephone (beeping all night), that was immediately fixed after my first night. Pros: Brand new Heavenly Bed 2.0. (I want one of these at home) Swanky Bar In-house Restaurant and room service Close to everything in Houston Friendly & attentive Staff Nice Gym Vegas style, Roof top Infinity Pool and hot tub Walking bridge to Mall and great dining options Quick Internet Cons: Expensive Parking Gym doesn't have any squat equipment No Loyalty Lounge This hotel will be my go-to on future Houston trips. Nice work by all here.

This is one of the best stays that I have stayed in. The Westin and staff definitely exceeded my expectations. The parking was great and the crab cakes Benedict at 024 was excellent for breakfast. Shoutout to the night crew Lisa, Mr. James, and Mr. Dante. I got there at 1am and they were fast, efficient, lively and welcoming. Clean room and wonderful bed. I highly recommend the Westin for your stay. Wonderful location across from the mall also!

2 stars for the comfortable bed and convenient location. Other than that, it’s overrated and overpriced. For a 4 star hotel, you expect better service. They bring you “room service” food in a paper Togo bag with plastic containers and plasticware like what you’d get from a take out order so the traditional room service experience is non-existent. They wouldn’t bring us any wine glasses because people have broken them in the past? Why not charge them and buy new glasses? Also, no free WiFi or parking on top of overpriced rooms with weak AC! If I’m going to pay for parking, the hotel service should feel like a 4 star hotel and not 3 stars. At least the TV was great with streaming services.

The ballroom, service, and staff were phenomenal. We have had two baby showers at this location, and each time was memorable.

⭐️⭐️I’ve been an Ambassador Elite with Marriott for three years, frequently choosing The Westin Houston, Memorial City. Historically, my experiences have been commendable, often receiving room upgrades and experiencing the quality service I value. I had a package shipped to arrive during my stay last week, but it was delayed. When I tried to retrieve it, Cris at the front desk was dismissive and overly focused on the fact that I wasn’t a current guest, overlooking my longstanding relationship with the hotel. While I value and appreciate my past experiences at Westin, it’s crucial for the hotel to maintain consistency in their service, especially with loyal guests. I’m genuinely taken aback by this experience and I hope the management takes note and ensures a seamless experience for all, irrespective of the context.

I was at this location for an event and needed some help. Vicki in the front desk helped without hesitation even though I was not staying at the hotel. Having been a platinum elite member for years, Marriott continues to earn my loyalty through their customer service. Thank you to the Westin and especially Vicki for being a gracious host.

Great stay, hotel room was relatively clean. The whole hotel (the rooms) have a kinda weird....old man smell. Lol that's the best way I can describe it. It's not terrible bcs I usually bring room spray anyways. The suite was nice, but could use an update. The speaker for the TV wasn't plugged into the wall but no worries I fixed that for the next guest. The bathroom was interesting, there was a regular hotel type tub right next to a pretty good sized shower. It wasn't bad it just seemed redundant. The guest bathroom was nice. Also really can't beat the view from the room, especially during the sunrise/sunset.

I love this hotel, super friendly staff, and very quiet rooms. My room was next to the ice machine and we couldn't hear it! The rooftop (16th floor) pool was pretty nice, it's small but heated which is nice because it was very windy. There is also a hot tub in a less windy area. There is a Starbucks in the hotel and you can access either Memorial Hermann Hospital or Memorial City Mall via the Skywalk accessible on the 3rd floor, no worries about safety, you must use a key card for access all ways. The 024 grille was decent for a hotel restaurant, however, there are much better choices directly in front of the hotel on I10 and at the Mall. We didn't stop at the Hotel bar but there is one. The weight room is nice with a great view of the city and adjacent to the pool. Overall we had a great experience and will be returning soon.

Not friendly to nursing mom on a business trip. No microwave in the room for sanitation. I asked the front desk for more bottles of purified water to clean my pumping supply, and been told they are out of supply for the purified water. But the second day after housekeeping cleaned my room, they put one replacement bottle of purified water. Apparently they do have them in stock with housekeeping, but I don’t know why the front desk said there’s no more available the night before.

We had booked a room for a Friday so we could attend a Christmas Party near by. Unfortunately, our son got strep throat the day before. The staff was so nice to refund us on a nonrefundable room my wife booked on accident. We will be staying here once our schedule opens. Thanks for the understanding and will be staying soon.

Service has always been top notch. People at front desk always greet you whether you are approaching them or simply walking by, which I appreciate. There are some minor things in the rooms that keeps them from being perfect but I can live with those little annoyances. One of the best hotels in Houston.

The staff is so accommodating and nice! Lesia Luz went above and beyond to help me get a room in the middle of the night while my wife was recovering in the hospital next door. She even gave me a better rate because of my situation. 5 star customer service and beautiful hotel.

Very happy with my stay here at this location. The staff is very friendly and always has an answer for my questions. Room is spotlessly clean. Towels are always stocked daily. Breakfast is yummy. Keep up the great work!

Had an excellent stay at the Westin during a business trip in July. Upon arrival, my booking had an issue but Ms Lesia Marshall took care of everything and made sure that I had the most pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are kind and thoughtful and there is a Starbucks within the hotel. Looking forward to being back soon!

I came to stay at the Westin - Memorial for my birthday weekend, and the customer service from some of the staff members were excellent. Specifically, I would like to send praises to a few employees. Danny(front desk manager) and Mario at the front desk were very welcoming, friendly and genuine. Celia was the best bartender I’ve ever met. She was open to making drinks that weren’t on the drink menu. I would definetely recommend staying at this hotel to all of my family and friends! It's a true sample of southern hospitality!

After a very trying day, I arrived at the hotel and I encountered Lesia! Lawd be, she is worth her weight in gold. She made me laugh when I didn't think I had it in me. She is such a beautiful soul, down-to-earth and plenty of character, which is a rare find. The entire hotel staff from the valet all the way up to management ... Completely class A acts! Customer service was excellent and genuine nothing fraud about these folks. I can't say enough about how they treated me. I can't wait to visit again!!

My fiance gifted me a wonderful birthday Zencation at this hotel last week and I had an amazing experience. The location is fantastic! There are so many neighboring amenities to explore. Thank you all for the birthday wishes upon arrival, delicious treats waiting to extend the celebration! I highly recommend this location. The pool has the best views of the city from every angle. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean and resourceful. Special thanks to Mario for the breakfast recommendations, Ashley A.(front desk)for the comps, 024 Grille, the breakfast crew the dinner crew Celia(old fashions)🍹🍹🥂,Ricky, Michael, Felipe....The food was delicious 😋. Thank you all for making my birthday stay memorable. See you again soon! -Z

I love the fact that the hotel doesn’t have carpet in the room considering they are pet friendly. However, they do have large rugs in each room that are dirty looking with obvious stains present—-I suggest replacing the rugs or having them cleaned professionally. The bedskirt on the bottom of the beds need to be removed permanently if they’re not gonna be cleaned and/or changed along with the comforter on each bed after a guest stays because they were very dirty. The body wash, hair shampoo, and hair conditioner was not brand new…it was used bottles from the previous guest. That is definitely unsanitary in today’s society which deems the items as contaminated. There were also some electrical outlets in my room with broken plate covers which is a hazard for an electrical accident to occur. The hotel is okay for the most part but I would never give it 5 ⭐️

Love this hotel. Attended an event for the job and the hotel and staff were simply wonderful. The only issue I had was when it came time to check out. Wasn't able to find the front desk clerk and when she finally showed up, the tax exempt didn't show up in the final charges. The paperwork was turned in at check-in. Other than that, all was well.

Beautiful hotel. Well maintained and in an excellent location. I love staying here. The room decor is great and the beds are comfortable. And because I am allergic to feathers, they always make sure my room is feather free.

Service was good, and I booked very last minute, so I'm glad they responded so well and gave me a room so quickly. I do have my complaints about the room and hotel itself. There were scratches on the wall, some items (cough drops) on the floor. I saw the staff at the Westin work very hard, but I feel like the hotel is very understaffed. The bedsheets were very worn out and scratched, and we were concerned with whether they were properly treated. Some items I usually expect from a hotel room were missing. I've rarely gone to a hotel doesn't have a hair dryer. When I went to the gym, the bikes were not properly functioning. I spent most of my time finding one that worked. The hotel needs many updates to live up to the standard of it's 4+ star rating. Things I liked: The room had enough towels, I liked the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was pretty good. The Starbucks was great.
