The receptionist was extremely rude and very dismissive towards us. She made it seem like we were bothering her just by paying for the room. We felt like we didn’t belong there. She greeted the next person with a welcoming smile. So in conclusion, I’m guessing it depends on your skin color what type of service you get. I definitely will not be coming back here.

The hotel was great and all but what really made it amazing for me was the incredible staff! Sarah at the front desk was amazing! She greeted me with a smile and made me smile throughout the whole check in process. I also got to meet Omar, her manager, which was just as friendly. I will definitely be back!!

First of all, I hope anyone planning to stay here has the pleasure of meeting Omar! He was the "Face of the place!" Very knowledgeable of the happenings in Houston and a personality to be admired! Check in was a breeze! Our room was clean and well kept, housekeeping was friendly and the beds were amazing. This is our go to spot now while in Houston. The location was convenient for our activities as well. Job well done!!

My stay was excellent. The rooms are clean and updated. The bathroom was clean and modern. The pool was clean. The location was excellent and convenient to downtown. It is in a central location to a lot. The neighborhood is safe. I chose street parking, and felt safe arriving at night alone.

This is an excellent hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greater warmly and kindly by the staff. I purchased a room at the front and was accommodated so quickly and professionally. I wish I had the name of the staff person that helped me because they were so kind and friendly and helpful with their explanations. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and had a fridge and microwave which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future!

This hotel has all the basics you could ask for; clean, easily accessible, and comfortable! But the real reason I decided to leave a review is for the above & beyond customer service Omar provided! A special thank you to him and the rest of the staff!

Great Clean Hotel! Definitely will stay here and time I have to go back for work. Convenient location and there are restaurants in walking distance. Safe for solo women travelers.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we entered into the lobby the reception by the staff was joyful, happy and we felt welcome. The overall hotel was beautiful and the rooms were exceptional. Definitely worth another visit. From a member of JJ3MC recording music ministry

A good place for a quick stay. Convenient to go to downtown. Their breakfast and food options are not that satisfiable. Should have more complementary options. A clean place, a big gym, a good clean swimming pool with spacious rooms. They have an in-house Starbucks and a convenient store.

Stayed a night here on our short roadtrip to Galveston and Houston. Service was polite, professional and good overall. Room was clean, quiet and had a decent view. The bed was comfortable and they provide the basic 2 cup coffee setup, which is always appreciated to get started. The neighborhood was nice with a lot of charm with some nice spots to eat within walking distance. Street parking was free and the lot was only $15 compared to the $50 in the city and forced valet. If you want to be close to the DT core, but not in it, this is a great safe option. The one criticism we had was that although there is a bar and some light food (we did not try the food due to the experience at the bar) is that they don't seem to have a trained bartender and staff is filling the gap. That means your drink is not likely to be all that great and is pretty much a hit or miss. Ours was a miss and as a result, we were not inspired to try the food as it seemed as though it was likely microwave fare, but we did not have it so not sure. Otherwise a great stay.

This is a very expensive place but not worth it. The rooms are very loud. The air conditioners are wall mounted and let pass all street noise. It's hard to get a quiet night. Marriott used to be a name which represents quality, however with this hotel just don't meet the requirements. Front desk and overall service is ok.

Stayed here two nights with our family and had amazing customer service. The location is close to several eateries and Donovan Park, which is a wonderful park for children. There is also garage parking and easy access to I10 and downtown.

A little disappointed to Pay so much and not have the standard breakfast offered that most hotels do instead an overpriced Starbucks. But everything else was amazing.

The hotel staff are always friendly especially at the bartender and the counter staff. Rooms are always clean and typical Courtyard style. Located close to shopping, restaurants, and a nice area for walking.

I must express that my overnight stay at this establishment proved to be an exceptional experience. The standout aspect of this hotel was the impeccable service provided by Omar. From the initial interaction until the conclusion of my visit, every encounter exemplified a remarkable level of customer service. As an individual employed in the MultiFamily industry, I highly value such dedicated employees. I strongly recommend considering a salary increase, bonus, or some form of recognition for Omar's outstanding performance. Additionally, apart from my personal encounter, I found the hotel to be well-maintained, hygienic, and tranquil, providing all the necessary amenities. It is worth noting that the presence of surveillance cameras in the parking garage is an advantageous feature.

just read a review that stated that the employees treat you based on your skin color, and I assure you that isn't true. Everyone that I've seen working in this hotel has been all different nationalities... I stayed for 4 nights with my service dog and I ran into 1 employee who was completely rude about me having him. Everyone else has been amazing... And Omar was SO nice!! All of the other young ladies were awesome too!! ... However, the one lady who was rude almost made me pack up and leave at 3:30am. 🤦‍♀️ Over all, the hotel has been wonderful. The staff is very nice and the hotel is clean as can be... I truly enjoyed the bed!... My only main issue, besides that 1 employee, would have to be that my CC was charged $60 for absolutely nothing at all. 🤷‍♀️ I went straight to the front desk and they're working to get the charge reversed. I haven't purchased any food, snacks, drinks, etc. So there's no need for the charge at all. I'm hope they get that resolved quickly. I wish they had the continental breakfast, but I could live without it. That's the only thing that would have made it better. There's a Starbucks, but if I'm paying $14 for breakfast I want IHOP. 💁‍♀️ Now the rentacop is RUDE as hell!! I honestly do not know how the hell he's still employed here at all.... This is now my second trip here after my 4 night stay (I left Monday 9/5/2022 and returned friday 9/10/2022) I have now had 2 situations with that rude guy... While I enjoyed the hotel and the other employees, I won't be returning after this stay. He has definitely ruined this place for me. I'll be taking my Titanium Elite status elsewhere.

This hotel was amazing! The cleanliness was superb! The staff were amazing and really friendly! As apart of Joel Jones & 3MC Gospel Recording Choir, thank you so much for all of the hospitality extended to us!

A great stay. Staff incredibly kind and professional. Room clean and bed was very comfortable. Dining was a short trip away or in some cases walking distance.

Straightforward hotel. Nothing fancy, but it isn't a slum either. Clean, cozy, quiet. It is very conveniently located. The bed wasn't the best as it had a dip in the middle but not so bad that I couldn't sleep.

I am am Marriott Ambassador Elite member. I spend over $30,000 at Marriott properties per year. I've stayed at this hotel several times as it is an excellent location and brand new. I have also told colleagues and members of my team to stay at this hotel when in Houston. However, on my current visit, I asked for bottled water and I got attitude and pushback. I am not going to argue with someone about a 10 cent bottle of water. Do you expect your hotel guests to go out and haul and unload a big pack of water prior to a stay? Absolutely unbelievable. What the heck are people supposed to drink? Regardless of anyone's elite status, water should be provided whenever asked for. This costs you absolutely nothing and will have LITERALLY zero affect on your margin and bottom line. Learn to manage a freaking business like rational adult. Also - the elevators are mind-blowingly slow. And no doors on the shower.

I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel! The setting, the decor, the staff, the room etc. I'm going to spell names wrong but Ms. Lori & Kofi (bartender/cook) are my faves 😆 Please correct my spelling lol. If I ever come back to Houston I will stay again. The food was great too! Our cleaning lady Daisy deserves a raise. She got our room TOGETHER each & everyday. Perfect hotel. Lots of places to take pictures. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful accommodations and upgraded. An official NFL hotel. We had our company roofing division kick off meeting and training there. The food and drinks were nice and provided all day. The fire pits and outdoor areas had a relaxing vibe .

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Rooms are very modern, clean, and beds are plush and comfortable. Super quiet too, best night of sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Front desk was so friendly upon checking in. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I have made plenty of reservations at this location, and Omar is always so helpful and accommodating! Omar and the rest of the team have made booking and check-in a breeze! Honestly I can’t say enough about their hospitality… I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

This is a nice place to stay but there are a couple of basic problems that need fixed to justify the price. 1. The tv remotes are terrible, I’ve stayed here several times and every room is the same, they don’t respond, they double click, it’s impossible to actually flip channels. Im to the point of looking for another hotel in the area because this is so annoying. 2. The breakfast is poor and slow. The coffee is only available to order and takes too long, a basic continental breakfast is much better.

The rooms are fine and the hotel is clean. Be sure to bring your own drinks and food, as this hotel is very serious about price gouging. $4.50 for a small bottle of water and No free breakfast like you find in so many other Courtyard Marriotts. The hotel sits 30 feet from the highway so you will not have peace and quiet, especially out on the patio. To loud to even have a conversation at the pool. This could be a great place to stay but ultimately it falls short.

Omar Yousuf maintains a welcoming spirit to his customers. In our conversation I told him the purpose of my visit, serving on the hospitality committee for the Association of Local Government Auditors and wanting to be close to the regional training site. When he saw me later, he let me know another person arrived and pointed them out without revealing identity, so I could introduce myself and welcome the other person. He also remembered my name. I sincerely hope Marriott appreciates how incredibly outstanding Omar is. He was here the last time and provided equally excellent service.

The meeting room for the event I attended was well equipped with visual aids, had a great sound system, and had comfortable seating. There was also ample free parking in the garage adjacent to the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would consider hosting an event at this location in the future.

We have stayed in many hotels in Houston over the years during business travel. I cannot begin to tell you how delighted we are to find your property. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, the property is spotless and the rooms look brand new. We are delighted to know that for every trip from now on, we have a great place to stay. Not to mention you're location is fantastic with so many restaurants in very close proximity.

A somewhat unexpected stay -- the hotel is relatively new and the rooms are nice but a bit on the small side. It was for business, so I didn't really care much about the price; as a private person staying here I'd say it's a bit on the expensive side of things. Be sure to ask for a room away from I-10 if you are (like me) sensitive to noise. Room rate does NOT include any breakfast, which was a bit of a disappointment. There's a small shop on the first floor which serves "breakfast" -- it's more like a Starbucks. Location-wise I can't say much: I wanted a hotel close to my family and this was it. It's right at I-10 (see above), so that can be good or bad. It's also close to a lot of restaurants which are in walking distance and obviously close to down town Houston.

My stay at courtyard Heights has been amazing! I was booked to stay here for 37 days and it felt like he away from home! Omar is such an amazing talented manager who takes great care of his staff and customers who come to stay here. The staff hospitality is phenomenal the way every staff including Omar make you feel when you walk through those doors is one of a kind! That is EVERYTIME YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOORS!!!! My first time in Houston has been memorable and I owe most of it to Omar and his staff!

The rooms were clean. The staff did not know what they were doing. My card was charged 3 times. I am still working on getting it resolved. They called me after my first night about making a payment when I had another night. I had to call housekeeping to get more towels. Everything was expensive. You have to pay for parking... it's a nice hotel but not worth the cost.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a quaint little neighborhood. Exceptionally clean and quiet even though it's right by the freeway! Staff was very upbeat and friendly and the accommodations overall were excellent! Definitely will choose to stay here again for my next trip to Houston!
