We
visted
from
Sunday
evening
(Jun
18)
until
Saturday
morning
(Jun
24).
We
specifically
chose
this
hotel
because
it
was
pet-friendly
and
because,
although
it
was
a
2-star
hotel,
it
had
a
pool.
My
husband
was
here
on
business
but
we
decided
to
tag
along
because
kiddos
were
on
summer
vacation.
Environment:
The
hotel
is
designed
to
have
NO
side
entry
(i.e.
only
entry
access
is
through
the
main
lobby
which
remains
unlocked
all
throughout
the
night).
Side
doors
can
be
used
as
exits
only.
Because
our
room
was
on
the
third
level,
we
parked
near
the
main
lobby
to
have
easy
access
to
the
elevator.
Unfortunately,
it
was
out
of
order
for
our
entire
stay.
This
made
for
a
long
walk
because
we
had
to
enter
through
main
lobby,
go
all
the
way
to
the
side
of
the
building
to
access
the
stairs,
go
up
the
2
flights,
and
then
walk
back
towards
the
center
of
the
building
for
our
room.
We
had
to
make
several
trips
back
and
forth,
after
what
had
already
been
a
long
travel
day
for
us,
so
you
can
imagine
how
exhausting
this
was.
The
pool
was
closed
our
entire
stay
because
the
Health
Department
had
shut
it
down.
I
didnt
see
any
changes
during
our
stay,
so
I'm
not
sure
the
hotel
is
trying
to
reopen
this
area.
The
hotel
is
supposed
to
be
pet-friendly
but
I
think
this
only
means
you
can
bring
your
pet.
The
front
desk
directed
me
to
the
side
of
the
building,
for
the
"designated
pet
area",
which
had
no
lighting
and
extremely
overgrown
grass.
Unfortunately,
most
hotel
guests
don't
pick
up
after
their
pets.
After
having
spoke
to
the
front
desk,
I
started
using
the
grass
next
to
popeyes
and
noticed
it
was
clean
from
loads
but
not
from
trash.
For
the
remainder
of
our
stay,
this
is
the
area
we
used
for
our
dog,
on
leash.
Breakfast
area
is
kept
clean.
They
put
out
a
variety
of
food.
I
was
surprised
that
this
2-star
hotel
had
scrambled
eggs,
breakfast
sausage,
and
breakfast
potatoes.
They
are
also
open
later
than
most
hotels
(until
9am
M-F,
later
on
weekends).
All
utensils/napkins/plates
are
put
away
once
breakfast
is
over.
Therefore,
if
you
order
take-out,
during
your
stay,
be
sure
to
get
utensils
from
take-out
restaurant.
Rooms
are
fairly
clean,
considering
pets
have
been
in
the
rooms.
They
do
provide
a
microwave
and
small
fridge
with
no
freezer
section.
Hotel
is
in
a
safe-enough
area.
K-9
officers
were
in
the
lobby
most
nights,
shooting
the
breeze
with
the
hotel
staff.
I
assume
this
is
their
rest
area.
Service:
When
I
asked
if
the
designated
pet
area
could
be
cut,
the
front
desk
said
they
had
recently
cut
the
grass
and
it
was
an
unorthodox
request
from
me
to
ask
if
they
can
recut
it.
He
did
mention
that
no
one
picks
up
after
their
pets.
This
tells
me
that
they
know
it's
an
on-going
issue
and
have
not
done
anything
to
fix
it.
His
solution
was
to
allow
my
dog
to
relieve
herself
anywhere
there
was
grass,
even
at
the
front.
Why
have
so
much
signage
if
they
are
not
going
to
enforce
what
is
posted?
He
also
said
he
would
speak
to
his
manager
but
I
don't
think
he
ever
did.
When
I
followed
up
with
him,
he
always
seemed
to
have
a
reason
why
he
hadnt
gotten
around
to
it.
One
time
he
said
he
had
to
deal
with
"real"
issues
all
day
long.
After
day
3,
I
stopped
following
up
with
him
because
I
found
the
popeyes
grass
area
for
my
dog.
The
grass
did
get
cut
on
Friday,
which
tells
me
that
the
staff
are
not
aware
of
the
grass-cutting
schedule.
Especially
because
the
grass
was
very
overgrown,
when
I
asked,
so
it
made
no
sense
for
the
employee
to
say
the
grass
had
recently
got
cut.
Breakfast
team
is
not
consistent.
There
is
one
lady
that
works
Monday
and
Tuesday
who
puts
out
a
pitcher
of
water.
The
lady
that
comes
the
rest
of
the
week
does
not.
I
had
to
ask
for
water
and
she
would
fill
up
my
cup
(8oz
because
that
is
what
they
put
out).
I
drink
lots
of
water
and
I
felt
uncomfortable
having
to
ask
for
my
cup
to
be
filled
more
than
once.
She
never
thought
to
put
out
the
pitcher
of
water
for
the
guest.
Housekeeping
does
not
clean
rooms
daily,
unless
a
request
is
made.
Overall,
if
you
need
a
place
to
sleep
(no
pool
or
pet
area
access),
this
is
a
good
place
for
you.
