This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We checked in at 1am. The receptionist was sleeping in the back. The lobby looked okay but as we head to the elevator, we noticed the dirty doors and walls. The hotel smelled extremely bad. The were dirty wet towels on the floor. As we entered our room, we were immediately disappointed. The room was filthy. They were stains on the ways.. the baseboards were dingy and dirty. The light switches had dirty all over them. The fire alarm was beeping like the battery was lower. The bath tub was disgusting and gross. The tab was leaking water all night. As we settle in because we couldn’t request a room change due to the time.. we notices a roach flying. Rachel were crawling on our table. The bed sheets were dingy. The side of the bed had a stain on it. This place is completely filthy. We never book with them again. Absolutely horrible.

At check in the lobby smelled like weed and cigarettes really bad. Getting up to our room the carpets were very dirty and trash laying in the hallways. Once up to our room the hallways smells cleaner and the rooms smelled clean. Beds were clean and room seemed nice until the roaches appeared. They were crawling on the door. I'll have to spray all my things now. The staff was very nice though. This place needs a giant makeover unfortunately we won't stay there again.

Where to start. Booked through Expedia. Received confirmation immediately. Drive from DFW to Houston Saturday morning for work. Work all day and receive a call at 4:15pm (check-in time 3pm) stating they can't fulfill my reservation. After talking to the only person working, according to her, she said she would look into it and call me back. She called back 15 minutes later stating she has a room. I accepted as I have no reservation anywhere else. Get to the hotel around 7pm after work. Waited 15 minutes for the only employee to attend the front desk. Finally check in and get directions to our room. Employee stated the elevators don't work. Get to room and inspect it. Pull back covers and there are multiple short and long hairs. Turn on TV and it is not working like a TV should (fuzzy and picture bouncing). The bathtub faucet leaks which you can hear drip laying in bed. Plug my phone charger into three outlets none of which work. There are multiple hard places on the carpet I have no idea what they are. Not to mention the hotel smells everywhere. Check out the photo from under the bed with a tiny bag that looks like something suspicious. I highly DO NOT recommend! Spend the extra dollars for a better place.

Place is a dump. Place used to be good, but went down hill. Started off with BEES! Yes, there were bees in the elevator and in the hallway leading out of the elevator. The hallways smelled heavy of weed. Room was dingy and had dead bugs all over the window sills. Tub looks like it had not been cleaned and the overall look of the room was dingy. For some reason, they took out the fridges and microwaves from the rooms. AC took forever to cool down the room(about 10 hours) and it was hot in there. Breakfast was a joke as they didn't have much. Icemachine didn't work either. Overall stay at this place was just a disaster. We always use this place when we come down to Houston, and it was never like this. Looks like we need another place to stay as we are not coming back to this one. Good luck....

First they put us in a room that was under construction. When they moved us to a different room they gave us a room where there was a lot of roaches. My son was on the bed cause was tired and the roches were on him . There was a frame that had broken glass on it, the shower was leaking, the water in shower never got hot. They say no smoking in their hotel yet the front desk person was smoking by the pool and you can smell the smoke through out the hotel. They have bad workers and management is worse they said they can’t do anything about the roaches cause they have trees around which makes no sense. I tried to get a refund cause I didn’t stay there and they couldn’t even help me with that .

My husband and I have stayed there several times. This last time there was no refrigerator, iron or blow dryer. This is not the first time we have had no refrigerator. There are no drink machines. There was a problem with TV. The place is old and needs a lot of upgrading. The only good thing is it is in walking distance to MD Anderson. This is the reason we have stayed there. We decided that next time we stay in Katy it will not be here.

Tina was amazing throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The service provided was top notch and the location is great as it is close to many restaurants, Katy Mills Mall, top golf, etc. I will definitely be staying again.

The rooms were dirty and there were roaches in the room and common areas. I could not stay the entire time that I had the room booked for because it was just so nasty. Staff very inattentive and we couldn't even get towels let alone someone to clean room. Phone in the room with no cord attached. Water did not get really hot and when it did not for long. Homeless persons are able to come in and roam around, eat and have coffee with paying customers. We did not feel safe there at all. We had to leave our belongings in the vehicle to prevent bugs from getting in our stuff. They tried scare tactics of not getting our money back if we leave early. Bad thing is that I checked out after staying there for 2 nights but they charged my card for the full 5 night stay. I will never stay there again!!!

This Hotel was ok. I didn't like the fact that none of the doors at the end of the halls locked. Anyone can come in at any time. No room key card needed to enter through those doors at any time. I didn't feel very safe staying here. I also didn't feel safe leaving things in my room. I was afraid of what could happen to them since i was staying there rooms away from one of the entrances/exits. The breakfast also wasn't very good. There wasn't much to choose from and the area the breakfast was in wasn't very well lit. You are pretty much walking into a dark room. You could barely see what you are putting in your plate. Other than that the rooms were clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable. Sorry i will not be recommending this place or returning to stay again.

Unsafe and unsanitary, There are a couple fire hazards. Both of the elevators said ,"out of Service " but they were still operating. They should upgrade the elevators, we can smell the oil in the hallway. The owner should invest the money into security, pay the workers better to do a better job, better elevators and lighting outside. Cheap owners get cheap results. Do not stay here unless you are about to be homeless.

I stayed at this hotel a year ago and my time there was trash. Also, my hotel bathroom was a mess it made me so uncomfortable I would have rather slept in my car. Plus, my bed area smelled really weird it took me a while to fall asleep in the room. I would not recommend anyone to stay here your experience will leave you soooo angry.

This stay was a complete disaster. I arrived and waited a while to check in. The other guests had issues with a deposit and paying. When I finally got checked in I was told only one elevator worked for the property. I get to the 4th floor and it is like a sauna. The AC did not work in the hallway. I get to my room and the AC in the bedroom did not work. Also the smoke detector was beeping, meaning it needed a new battery. I return back to the front desk and tell them. They come up with a AA battery for a smoke detector. They take 9V. He says he will need to get the right battery and come back. I took a work meeting while I waited and when he did not return I decided to book another property. I went down to check out and stood at the front desk waiting again. The clerk was on the patio taking a personal phone call. He saw me waiting and took his time. He finally came out and asked what he could do for me. I told him I was checking out and he asked why. I told him about all of the issues. He finally remembered about the battery. He refunded my charges but then the same day I was charged $80 after I left without even being told. The property also smelled like weed everywhere. The people in the first floor room right by the side entrance had their windows open smoking weed directly in the room. It is like no one here cares at all. Officially will not be returning to any La Quinta property ever. It is like Wyndham has simply given up on this brand and it shows.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Now for the bad. Broken items in both of the rooms I was assigned to. The second one had a damaged (falling off the door jamb) safety latch and a hole in the closet door making it look like the door had been forcefully opened. The air conditioner made a rattling noise the entire time. There was very questionable activity taking place directly in front of the hotel every night. I felt very uncomfortable staying here unfortunately. All of this has been reported to Wyndham.

There's so much to write but won't repeat what other guest have already mentioned it. In a nutshell, hotel was dirty, roaches in the room, hole in the bathroom door, room smelt moldy and dirty, the room and bathroom were below standard in cleanliness. Bc we were on the road for over 7 hrs, it was late at night, we didn't leave. We left early the next day. Didn't enjoy the stay and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The stench of cigarettes and weed is very heavy in the hallways and elevators. The rooms have the same smell just mixed with air freshener. We got there early and even though the receptionist said they weren't booked out we couldn't check in early. Carpets had stains all over them, dead bugs everywhere. Ot looks like cleanliness is not a priority. Only reason we stayed here is because we had family from out of town staying there and we wanted stay in the same hotel. Big mistake... will never be staying at this hotel again.

I'm impressed with this chain. Rooms might be a tad more, but worth it. This one was no exception. Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast items, and no problem checking in or out. Great location for an overnight stay.

Room looked fine until roaches came out of hiding. I thought it was just a few and it would be nothing some bug spray can't handle. I was wrong! There was a constant flow of roaches. The building is definitely infested and needs to be shut down to fix it. This is a serious health hazard, do not stay here. Pics of roaches we sprayed

3.5 star hotel, great value for location, the cons are as others have listed outside of the staff as I would have to disagree. The front desk staff is nice but I must give a special thanks to Carmen & Wendy who fixed an issue I had with a third-party booking agency & made it so I could still get a room. The reviews stating housekeeping isn't everyday is false...FULL-service housekeeping isn't available everyday but standard housing keeping is & both the maids & front desk give out towels/toilet paper with no questions asked. Will is the gentleman that prepares breakfast & he is ever so polite & keeps the area stocked & clean even in high traffic times & he makes a really good cup of coffee...he's awesome! My recommendation to others would be 60/40 & whereas this hotel isn't for everybody it did meet the need for my particular situation...plus no deposit, no theft & no vandalism to any cars...big plus!

I usually stay at La Quinta’s because I have a pet because I have a pet. I also have a Wyndham rewards card. I usually try to stay in the more modern recently built La Quinta’s but unfortunately I was able unable to find one that night, so I opted for this one. It was truly a roach motel. I saw/killed approximately 10 roaches in the 2 to 3 hours I was awake. One even ended up in my drink. The room also smelled extremely strong of something like Clorox or ammonia. But the bugs is what really did me in. I got in late After a 6 Hour drive, unpacked my vehicle, And it was raining outside. I did not have the energy to leave As lately I’ve been experiencing some bad back pain. The next morning I reported the problem to the staff hoping I would be offered a comp on the room. But that was not offered and the gentleman at the front desk said he would only let the manager know. That was four days ago and I have not heard from the manager yet.

Dated property, torn blackout curtains, burned out light bulbs, cigarette butts all over the ground outside, dog droppings on the inside hallway carpet by the 4th floor elevator, hotel employees, identified & verified as such, filling their Yeti style coffee containers, supposed to be for customers, enjoying guest breakfast in the lobby, front desk person with no management available to speak to, knife scars on many walls and inside the elevator, no USB ports in the rooms to charge devices. This is one of THE worst LaQuinta hotel properties I have stayed in over the last 25 years & will never stay here again.

Im going to start with my rooms (bc i got one for my 4kids and 1 for me and my husband). My room with the King bed (supposed to be a deluxe room) was ok but the was no microwave. The bed was comfortable. They DID NOT clean our room at all, said we had to request for it to be cleaned. My kids room had roaches in it, and their room never got cleaned either. Breakfast was good. The manager Akash is VERY rude and she is a liar. She kept barging in the room without notice asking if we are checking out even after the rooms were paid up. The receipt shows check out time is 12:00pm and they make you check out at 11am. Akash is also racist, she told us to leave the hotel bc i yelled at her ( i wasnt yelling) she throws around that she is the “manager” so she can do what she wants. Her and her boyfriend Brian pockets the money for some of the rooms. On the same day she told us to leave, she put out 3 others black families. THEY NEED NEW AND BETTER MANAGEMENT!

It is overall not bad especially for the price. I felt mostly safe and didn’t see any bugs. The bedding is a bit uncomfortable and just has been washed too many times, so the fabric is scratchy. Door handles were broken on the closet, but the room door has extra lock which was appreciated. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly, however the one who checked me out was very rude and insistent on not giving back my $50 deposit, which oh well, it’s a cheap hotel anyways. Breakfast was okay, better off going to the waffle house or first watch. It was hard for our Ubers to find the location as the back gate is closed to the parking lot so the homeless can’t get in it seems. But I would say it’s not a bad place to stay on a budget.

Room was clean, we had a problem with the air conditioner, had an error "F1" and wasn't working. I complained about it, but nobody came to fix it. We had to google how to fix it. Front desk ladies were nice, but don't take more than 3 sausages at breakfast, or you might lose your life. "Security guard" was entitled and staff was very afraid of him. Overall, if you're just going to spend the night, and not gonna eat there, then it's ok.
