BEWARE!!!! Must read before booking I had made a reservation at Hotel Indigo, excited to enjoy a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, life threw me a curveball when I unexpectedly tested positive for Covid-19. Naturally, I wanted to act responsibly and cancel my reservation to avoid any risk to fellow guests and staff. Regrettably, when I reached out to your customer service department, I was met with a disappointing response. Despite explaining my situation and emphasizing the importance of prioritizing public health, I was informed that my reservation could not be canceled. This left me feeling both dismayed and frustrated. In these unprecedented times, it is crucial for businesses to prioritize the well-being of their guests. While I understand the need for policies and procedures, it is disheartening to see a lack of flexibility and understanding, especially when dealing with a highly contagious virus like Covid-19. I write this review not only to express my disappointment but also to caution future guests about the potential challenges they may face. Since I’m being forced to pay for it, I’m still coming so beware! To potential guests, I recommend exercising caution when making reservations at Hotel Indigo. While the hotel may have its merits, my experience suggests that their understanding and flexibility during challenging times may be lacking.

The hotel is nice from the outside looking in, but once you’re in your room you’ll notice some problems. First the toilet was audibly running during the entire stay. Also the tile in the bathroom showers are very uneven. So if you like being jabbed in the feet while taking a shower, this is the hotel for you. That’s not even the worse part. When I checked out on April 4th, and started my car there was a horrible sound coming from it. I later found out that my catalytic converter was CUT & STOLEN from under my car, while my car was parked in the hotel parking lot. When I asked Angel (the hotel front desk manger), if there had been issues with people’s cars being tampered with she said no. Which I found out was a lie after doing a thorough look through of their reviews. Apparently a good bit of cars get broken into or have something stolen off of them at this hotel. There still aren’t any cameras in the parking lot, even though they have more than enough reviews to see that they are NEEDED. Furthermore, I sent an email to the GM of the hotel about the situation, but didn’t get a response until I reached out to their corporate office. I will never book this hotel again and I advise everyone who reads this NOT TO BOOK!

Clean, comfortable, convenient to the mall, fair price, boutique style accommodations. Great customer service. Miriam and Doug were awesome! Wish they had a pool, that's the only thing. I would definitely return, and I would definitely recommend.

I spent my birthday there last weekend. The staff was extremely kind and professional. Able, in the lounge, is a friendly bartender with a knack for cheering people up! He pours a great drink as well. The property and grounds are beautiful and are being completely remodeled and improved on! I look forward to my next stay there!

I stayed there 6/12-6/16/23. They took a $115 deposit from my card. I owed nothing at check out and was told my money would be returned to me in two business days. It is now 6/29 and I've called four times and not once spoken to a manager and still haven't received my money back. I was told I would be communicated with concerning this issue with a return call but have yet to receive even that. Extremely bad and dishonest business practices by hotel management. Honestly I would just like my money back and to never have to deal with them again!

First time use, toilet was clogged. Shower looked dated and dirty. Tissue box was used and only two tissues remaining. Door was not leveled. View was the roof top of another building and was boxed in by surrounding buildings. Overall attention to details was seriously lacking. Nothing to do around that area. Galleria was disappointing. Galleria seems like their only attraction and that was disappointing to my 12 year old daughter as well. $200/night is a robbery. I could have spent around $100 and be in a better hotel.

the room that we stayed in and the hotel itself were fine for the 2 nights that we needed it, but i personally would not want to stay for longer. we paid in full before arriving but there was still a hold for additional money placed on my friend’s card, that was not removed until 2 weeks later after we had to call. they did not have a reason as to why they were holding more of our money. i was thrown off that she shower in our room did not have a door. it’s hard to take a warm shower when the heat is rushing out. there were a few spots around the room that you could tell just get missed during cleaning i.e. a fake eyelash being stuck to the hairdryer. but again, it was fine for what we needed it for. the additional money being taken was very suspicious and according to other peoples’ reviews it has happened before

I love Hotel Indigo. I started staying there in 2016 and I look for it everywhere I go. I’ve only been to one location that wasn’t good at all, but that was only a one time thing. HI has some of the best chicken and waffles for brunch and delicious mimosas. The location in Mount Pleasant, SC was the best thus far and the one in Vinings, Ga was the worst.

Very good location to Galleria. Nearby environment is pretty quiet. Friendly service, willing to offer help. Not happy with the room. Though it's big, it doesn't have much. No microwave, No bathtub, limited trash can.

Nice hotel next to the Galleria. Nice remodel. I stay here about every 6 weeks when I'm in town for Dr appts. The new cover over the ac unit is nice but not functional. The AC can't vent properly so the room stays hot. Being hot and sleeping doesn't go together. I use to enjoy eating in the restaurant/bar but don't care for the new menu. So now I walk over to the Galleria to eat. Please bring back the old menu. The new breakfast potatoes are horrible. Unfortunately, with all the changes I may try a new hotel.

We’ve been staying at this hotel for it’s location many times. Yesterday around noon we checked out from this hotel for our most recent trip to Houston. My husband left a pair of sandals in the room, we called them multiple times to find them, we were told they couldn’t find them. I’m more than 100% positive that we had left them there. I told them the exact location where the sandals were. They came back with negative answer. So I know someone either threw them away or kept them. The sandals were still in very good condition. I gave up on trying to find them after our fourth call. So I said alright, thank you! And the operator with Indian accent just hung up on me, super rude. My husband is a diamond elite member with IHG, we are extremely disappointed with what had happened. We stayed at room 408, the room is freshly remodeled, looks nice but the AC is super loud and noisy. Good thing there are plenty of other hotels in that area.

Don't forget to use HotelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't regret it. It is not often you stay in a hotel a few blocks from your home but AC malfunctions forced us to do so. I found the hotel because they accepted pets. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Everything was lovely from service to food to the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The Hotel Indigo Houston at the Galleria is a very lovely hotel for a romantic getaway. The atmosphere is artistically fantastic, and the service from the staff is very professional, friendly, and exceptional. The room was absolutely perfect from the layout to the wonderful shower to the very comfortable bed. Importantly, the room was very clean, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have seen in a long time. The staff averted a romantic disaster when I realized I had forgotten my corkscrew for my wine as they quickly allowed me to borrow theirs. I used their weights and weight machine in the fitness room, and it was wonderful. Finally, I really enjoyed the location of the hotel in the uptown area of Houston. I will definitely return to the Hotel Indigo Houston at the Galleria in the future for another spectacular getaway!

This is a really nice place I’m surprised that I’ve never stayed here before. When I checked in and went up to the floor I could smell the bleach from how well the housekeeping was cleaning the rooms. I appreciate that. Big gorgeous shower nice comfortable bed. The bar is open they have room service it’s small and cute and you feel comfortable and safe.

The staff and service is excellent but the rooms need renovations. My shower head was hanging out of the wall. The location was prefect as it is next door to The Galleria Mall. The food was great and Abel, who works at the bar, is great. He will make sure that you're enjoying yourself while in the bar area.

Stayed here for 5 day vacation and I loved it from the moment I checked in to the time I checked out. THE ENTIRE STAFF is so friendly and kind. The room was clean, nice suite space, easy towels and toiletries refills daily. The only thing that’s missing is a microwave. Overall, I would highly recommend and definitely be staying here every time I visit Houston ❤️

If you are looking for a very clean hotel with excellent staff, look no further! I was in Houston for business and was scheduled to stay at another "boutique" hotel. However, once I arrived at that hotel, it was filthy. I came to Hotel Indigo where I was warmly and professionally greeted by Sylvester who very promptly got me a room for the rest of my stay. He absolutely went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was exceptional, and that every detail was taken care of. The room was very spacious and immaculately clean. I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo and will be using them again for future stays.

Cute little hotel right beside Nordstrom at the Galleria. I got a great price for my room. The lobby is charming with lots of color, texture, and seating. There is a cafe and bar. The front desk person was cheerful and genuine. The room was super cute. The only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the room... very bright. The bathroom has a great walk-in shower, but the poor lighting cheapened it. There was a coffee maker, sink, cabinets, drawers, desk, reading chair and closet. Love it. They just need to change the light bulbs to warm instead of that 90s public school cafeteria fluorescent blue-white.
