The hotel is nice, love the King Room suite and of course the jacuzzi and pool area. 2 of the cleaning staff were not so friendly. However, my highlight, was the bartender Rafael. He was friendly and helpful. I didn't know what I wanted but he helped me decide, a good ole Old Fashion. He was personable and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. The drinks were superb! I will be back!

Sad to say this hotel is starting to show its age. The remodel looks good but it does not fix the core issue. Our room temp set at 60 still could not keep the room cool. When we returned to the room after a night out it was so hot they had to hunt us down a carpet drying fan. They offered to move us but it was already late. The room finally cooled down with the fan and the outside heat going down. The problem is the windows are so thin the heat just bursts in. If you want to stay in a cave and keep all of your curtains closed it might help some but it is so warm on the 6th floor I am not sure it would help. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and the $30 for self parking has become just stupid. The parking at one time was free so if it was free then why should it be $30 now. The parking lot has not changed and I seen no security which we should not be paying for anyway! A great location ruined by parking fees and old windows! I unfortunately will not be back!

Hotel dated, 1st room smelled awful even after we sprayed it. Moved to another room much better. Front desk staff, dining staff and bar staff very accommodating. I would give them 5 Stars. The hotel needs repairs. I think it is awful they charge 25.00 to self park on their property. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. I am loyal to Hilton but I would never stay at this property again.

Nasty…. Nasty… Nasty… Sticky liquid in the floors in the elevator, I went to get towels from the front desk when I arrived to my room because there weren’t any, was told they would have them bring someone bring them to me. I had to go back downstairs to complain that there were some soiled women’s undies in the sheets (my 5 year old grab them and asked me who’s it was) as I was getting our clothes out our suite case to get ready for bed… but fell asleep in our clothes because we never got our towels) shortly after, of course no one was at the desk the second time. I didn’t sleep but set up and dozed on and of in the chair near the door. Got towels 45 min before check out the next day. Complained to the supervisor Issac whom seemed to not car when I asked for the manager card he said he will taking parking price off. What???? I got got charged for parking when I didn’t even drive here and what does parking have to do with your lazy housekeepers not cleaning and sanitizing the rooms thoroughly. I’m so done!!!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria, and I cannot express enough how remarkable my experience was, thanks in large part to Nick S, the outstanding Front Desk Office Manager. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I knew I was in for an exceptional stay. Nick's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for my entire visit. He was not only attentive and professional but went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. His customer service skills are truly unparalleled. The check-in process was seamless, and Nick made sure to answer all my questions and provide me with a wealth of information about the hotel's amenities and services Throughout my stay, Nick remained easily accessible, always ready to assist with any requests or concerns. He possesses an extraordinary level of patience and genuine concern for the well-being of each guest, making me feel like my comfort and satisfaction were his top priorities. Beyond his customer service skills, Nick's attention to detail and passion for his role truly shine. He takes pride in the hotel's appearance and ensures that everything is in perfect order. It's evident that he's dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. In summary, my stay was nothing short of extraordinary, and Nick S, the Front Desk Office Manager, played an instrumental role in making it memorable. His dedication to guest satisfaction, exceptional customer service, and commitment to excellence are a testament to the hotel's high standards. I will undoubtedly return to Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria in the future, and I hope to have the pleasure of being welcomed by Nick once again. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone seeking an exceptional hotel experience, where your comfort and satisfaction are truly a top priority. Nick S's exceptional service sets the standard for what a Front Desk Office Manager should be. Thank you, Nick, for making my stay unforgettable.

Overall it was a place to stay. I will not stay again, was disappointed at our stay. The a/c was not properly working in the entire building, room unit in both rooms, just weren't cooling enough. I say both rooms because we had to move. Then the pool was a disaster. My family was very uncomfortable with the behavior of individuals there. Those individuals were not guests to the property as they were entering from the side gate and had left the side door ajar to be able to come in an out. Management did not address the issue. The Pool was left a mess, with diapers and used underwear on the side, loud music, fake eyelash was on the floor, very obnoxious behavior. Unauthorized use of hotel amenities need to be addressed by security and management. Other than location of hotel, I expected a better stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your stuff stolen from housekeeping! I accidentally left my black Vans in the hotel room. I noticed when I got home from our vacation that I unpacked my suitcase and they were not in there. I realized I left them in the hotel room by accident. Well, I called to see if housekeeping picked up a pair of shoes in the room. Well, the housekeeping manager said they did not see any shoes. That is a huge lie, they are no where to be found in my house. They would not be anywhere else except for in the hotel. And we only stayed 1 night! Needless to say, my shoes were stolen. They were $80 and only 2 months old. I guess it was my fault for accidently leaving my shoes, but those employees are thieves. My husband and I are both DIAMOND members with Hilton. We are VERY disappointed in this hotel. It wasn't just the stealing either, the whole hotel is getting run down. The worst Embassy Suites I have every stayed in, and I have stayed in A LOT. I give it like a 2/5 for quality. The location is the only thing good about this hotel. And I never write reviews like this... We advise not staying here.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights.Upon arrival I was given a room key only to go to the room and find out that was not what I had booked.I returned to service desk where an apology was offered and told there were not any room of what I had booked available and one should be ready next day. Next day went to front desk and was given another room(what I was suppose to have from the start which consisted of double beds and a sofa bed). 1st room had torn curtains, broken sofa bed and the TV remote did not function nor was any hot water!! Next day second room no hot water and microwave did not work. Trash found in sofa!! The tub also was brownish yellow in the bottom. The pool chlorine levels were way to high!! Hotel seems like an older hotel that was remodeled to very minimum!! The food was good but everything else was horrible!! For the price of this hotel, the services and price you pay is not worth it!! For such a price you can most definitely find a better stay in the area. The location was very GREAT.

Night of stay: 12/28/2022. Room was fine. The front desk staff would not give me a towel for the pool. I had to ask two housekeepers before I could get a spare towel. The staff at the front desk and housekeepers was very rude. Also, there was garbage left by the elevators (overnight) and even the front desk. The carpet had not seen a vacuum cleaner in quite awhile. Also, the jacuzzi did not work properly.

Our family reunion was hosted here. Rooms we're nice and spacious. The breakfast was great and the dinner time snacks were also good but the best part about this hotel was the staff! They really went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. They really did a great job. No hotel is perfect including this one but the people working at the hotel can make all the difference in the world when it comes to your experience. Thank you to all the staff especially the people working at the front desk. It was great talking to you everyday and thanks again for helping us. It was much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Houston. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights Great value

Had the opportunity of staying here in March 2023, location is perfect! Walking distance to Houston Galleria and The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park. Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and spacious and quiet, appreciated the separate living and bedroom area. Breakfast was well stocked every morning from 6-9am, wish they would go an hour later though for those on vacation. Shout out to Nick especially, he made sure everything was perfect for our stay! Great place would definitely stay again!

My family and I relocated from Jersey and stayed here multiple weeks. Service with a smile and everyone is super friendly… From the moment we arrived, Emily greeted us with extraordinary service and Nick has the personality you would want to work with and for… Breakfast is always fresh and fast…( All of the staff are so pleasant) Do yourself a favor and stop by the bar and meet Karen who is a whole vibe! She looooves mixing and singing as she pours your complementary drinks! She’s a show stopper! Absolute great place to stay especially while house hunting! As Karen would say “Cheers!”

Stayed here for 12 nights with my family and everything was great. We used the pool, the gym and the laundry room. The breakfast was great as always and the dinner time snacks were also good but the best part about this hotel was the staff! It was great talking to you everyday and thanks again for helping us with all of our package deliveries. It was much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Houston.

This place is terrible. We didn’t receive the room we selected on the app and then the room we were given wasn’t ready at their regular check-in time. The room was located on what they call “The Premium Floor.” It had a ceiling which was sagging with what appeared to be mold. The bathroom door handle didn’t function properly and only 2 of the 4 lights in the front area of our room worked. To make matters worse, the toilet handle was broken when we arrived. We had to wait almost an hour for maintenance to install a new one. They charge $30 a night for parking in a dark parking lot where I saw no security. The key to the room stopped functioning on each day of the stay, however I must admit the process of obtaining a new one was easy as they didn’t even ask for identification, not sure what that says about safety. This experience was so bad that it prompted me to remove the Hilton app. If you do decide to stay here, I recommend bringing bug spray as it would have helped us with the infestation that was present in each room.

I travel a lot, weekly, two or more nights a week I am in a hotel. This location needs work. The rooms are old and rundown and have a musty smell to them because of the mold in the AC vents. When I went to the bar area to grab dinner there was a cockroach on the ground. Will not be staying at this property again. Only thing this place has going for It is the very nice staff. No issues with anyone working here.

Stayed at this location. There was a distinct smell in the bathroom when the water ran. There was also a mix up during check in that put me in a room that was already occupied. Had a key and entered the room while someone else was asleep in the bedroom. Very unsafe for me and also the person asleep with me in the room

I really loved my stay here! It was beautiful and very comfortable. Karen in the bar is a wonderful hard working dog mom who deserves some recognition. She is so welcoming and a great mixologist.

The hotel staff was exceptional, the breakfast was great, and the hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The happy hour saved us after a long day!! The other guests were fun and the bar/eating area was a great place to gather.

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had and we travel frequently. The room was spotless and had everything we needed (party of 4). The manager was very a kind and super helpful gentleman he had information on local things to do and restaurants to eat and was very hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of things to choose from. The free bar was also great as the bartender was very fun to talk to and he made great drinks. We will definitely be staying here again when we’re in Houston.

Convenient location to Houston Methodist Hospital. Awesome service from both Nick & Karen during our stay!! Nick provided excellent service at check in. And Karen the bartender was AMAZING!, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We truly appreciate her kindness as my mom was not able to join us for Happy Hour due to medical restrictions. Karen, however, was quick to offer mom an alcohol free alternative. Thank you so much for making my mom feel special! The sofa sleeper in our King Suite was a bit uncomfortable. But otherwise, okay for a quick two night stay.

I really liked this hotel. I spent every breaking on the bridge looking at the male and female English Swans before they retired. They were the magic in this hotel. The location was wonderful right in the center of all my events for two weeks. The staff worked well together throughout all departments from the cooks, cleaning staff, front desk, event manager, and engineers. The chef’s made to order breakfast was great! The hotels front desk help in so many ways like finding locations to explore, new popular restaurants, and help fulfill all the meeting rooms needs for 2 weeks. The top floor platinum room were relaxing. The layout of the room was an open floor plan. Starting with an office with small office table /living room with couch. The kitchen was a nice touch. The bathroom was modern clean white bright mirror. The separated bedroom was a plus for my wife too separate work from pleasure.

This was an amazing place to stay. Great breakfast in the mornings included with the stay. Great apps and drinks from 5:30-7PM also included with the stay. We had an exceptional bartender all night named Karen. Wonderful person and knowledgeable behind the bar. Had a good food recommendation from the behind the desk person named Nick. Overall a great stay experience and even better atmosphere in the lobby. Would stay again definitely recommend this place to stay if you are in the area.

Upon checking into the hotel, the first room we were given was occupied, so walking into an in use room was awkward. We go back to the front desk, and they offer us an "upgrade" for our troubles. It's an identical room, one story higher. The next morning, we have someone walk into our room while we're in the shower. Luckily, it was an older lady and not someone more nefarious. We then go talk to the front desk and ensure that this won't happen again. Later that day, I started getting emails about being checked out, and my credit card was charged for $200. I called the hotel, and they aren't sure why I was being checked out and what the charges were for, but I had to wait until a manager was on duty to get things cleared up. I did speak with a manager the last morning, and all they could do was apologize. I did get refunded the erroneous charges. On a lesser note, breakfast was terrible, and the rooms were dirty. There's plenty of other hotels in this area, and as a Hilton gold member, I would encourage you to stay elsewhere.

I grabbed a one night stay for the family and I am happy to say it's been one of the best stays I've had. Nick received us with great enthusiasm, upgraded our room and was happy to provide a 2pm late checkout. all in all, the hotel is outdated but located just right next to the Galleria and with free parking. The happy hour reception always on point and the free breakfast to order was real nice when ordering my 3 over medium eggs, bacon, potatoes + Starbucks coffee on the side. I will definitely come back to this one.

My boyfriend and I went for our 3 year anniversary and the staff made our experience great by upgrading our room to a premium suite. It was a calm, quiet, and relaxing hotel. The breakfast in the morning was hot and seemed fresh!

Nice hotel near the Galeria, it is walking distance. The suites are nice and comfy, the only thing is that the room and a old smell to it when we first opened the door. First some reason we could not get house keeping to line our trash bins. I even asked for them too. Overall the service was great from the desk to the ladies who made breakfast every morning. Cozy little place.

It has a great location from the mall, the guest service personnel very friendly. The only thing is I'm allergic to dogs and the room we stayed in might have had one, I constantly kept sneezing so had to take allergy medicine to not break out bad. But otherwise they are great they serve hot breakfast and have happy hour which is a great plus after a long day.

A nice hotel with lots of rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean overlooking both the atrium and part of the Houston surroundings. The atrium look and feel is a little bit dated but still very comfortable. They offer complementary drinks and some finger food at 17:30. Very friendly staff.

Nick was nothing short of amazing. He was the only one working during my check-in and multitasking is his speciality. He took care of every guest in a timely manner and offered the best service! I see why he’s in the position he’s in! Thank you so much for your hospitality Nick. You’ve left the best memorable experience/impression on me and my family and we look forward to staying again. Def recommend. 10/10 Wish we had more in hospitality like him these days.

There were many issues with the specific Embassy Suite. We were so annoyed with this experience that we were looking to book another hotel after we checked-in. Only redeeming factor was that Nick (front end manager) was very nice and courteous. He tried his best to accommodate us. - The room was too cold and it was set to 60 degrees. When we tried to move it to 68, it would still continue to blow at 60. We were cold throughout the night. - Bathroom door cannot to be locked from inside. The bathroom door handle was broken. - There was not trash bag or dirty clothes bag - I asked for 3 extra towels in the morning around 8AM. I checked out at 11:00AM and I received the extra towels. We left without any of us could get a hot shower. Other than that, we had a nice time. The breakfast was good. The kitchen wait staff were extremely nice.

I loved the jacuzzi and the pool. The happy hour and free breakfast was a huge plus. The service was awesome. The only flaw I could point out is that there’s only one set of elevators. One of them had this weird little kick to it before it stopped at your floor. Kinda like it wanted to fall! Other than that the hotel is awesome and conveniently located walking distance from the mall. I recommend Snooze restaurant if you wanna check out breakfast around there!
