I did not have a good experience at Hilton and that saddens me. I am 19 and had booked a reservation under my name, but with my older brother’s (23 y/o) information and debit card. Because my brother was driving, I took on the part of setting up the reservation for us. I thought everything would work out because for multiple other hotels, it had never been an issue that it was under my name, because the card that was charged belongs to someone who is older than 21. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist lady was not kind about our situation. She stated that I was allowed in the hotel because there was alcohol and I was under 21. Although, I was there with my whole family and alcohol was not something anyone of us were interested in. We just needed a place to sleep. When we asked to just alter the name of the reservation to my brother’s name, she insisted that it was not possible because again, I was under 21 and there was alcohol. It was really frustrating. We tried reasoning with her, but was simply rude to us. I also can’t help but felt that discrimination was in place. My family and I were coming in from a long drive and we did not look our best. We were also Asian. I did not appreciating the way the receptionist had looked us up and down. I’m highly disappointed that just because Hamilton is a chain hotel and higher rated, that discrimination was okay. Very disappointed. We also asked to get a wavier on our cancellation fee because we weren’t allowed in our room but it was not approved. Truly, disappointing.

Hello, I am a current guest at the Hilton Garden in Galleria Houston and this is becoming a nightmare. I prepaid for parking for 3 nights, this is my first night and after coming back from a night out of dinner and visiting friends here in Houston I come back to the hotel with nowhere to park! The parking lot and garage is full! So full that other cars were directed to park in No Parking fire zones in front of the hotel! I went in to let the on duty, front desk personnel know my dilemma and to ask where can I park since there are no spots left and I have paid for this service? He told me that nobody should have to move out of their spot for me. I was confused because I never asked for someone else to move. I said I feel that every guest should have a parking spot that has a parking sticker. He then told me to park on the side by the wood gate where it clearly says No Parking and would also be in the way of other cars passing by. This would be a liability if I park there and someone trying to pass hits my car!! He told me well that’s all he can do. This is disgusting…. to be denied a service I paid for with no help and also be accused and talked down to as if I asked him to have someone move their car (I never said that). Something needs to be done! Please contact me asap. I also have video footage of this whole ordeal. Please contact me regarding this!

I enjoyed my stay there. The location is very good and there is so much fun stuff to do nearby. Also, there are lots of restaurants and shops so that's a plus. The room was clean and the check-in process was effortless.

If you re planning to visit the Galleria area, I recommend to stay at this hotel trust me on this. Location is excellent for walking to the mall, restaurant and many more attractions in the Galleria area. The cleanliness of this hotel is overrated. Rooms are so comfortable big beds, bathrooms super clean, staff so professional and knowledgeable of their work. I definitely recommend this hotel for any one traveling soon in that area. The price is reasonable too not too expensive. I loved it.

Great friendly staff. Nice super clean place. Except it kinda smells like pee right as you walk in front door. Not sure why. Everything was perfect until I noticed they charged me for a night I did not stay. Then I had to argue for over 30 minutes with the manager. Portly white (?) Gentleman. Can't remember his name. Plus he made the new guy, nice looking younger black man from Pennsylvania, take one for the team and argue his battle for him. I finally politely as possible asked him to please get the mgr it here since he wasn't the person responsible for the "mistake". He did. They finally reimbursed me and gave my deposit back. As they should have.

Loved the room, clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and warm. Great location. The staffs were not great though, a staff misbehaved with us and said we were trying to damage the property where we were just confused how to open the main door. Kindness costs nothing and the sweet experience of the stay became bitter at that very moment.

This property is new and comfortable. The rooms and spacious and quiet. The shower water gets nice and hot, beds are comfortable and firm. The breakfast looked good and the bar was well stocked. The location is a bit away from everything so short ubers are better than walking to the mall or Williams Tower.

Hotel is clean and nice. They switched up my room due to the bad carpet smell. The gym is not good and small. Ty new room is clean and nice. The location is nice and good. The parking is also good but I do not like the fact the hotels are not responsible if your car got stolen in most of hotels in Houston even thou I am paying $19 additional per day for parking. Just install cameras everywhere and light sensors.

This hotel was in a perfect location. The cleanliness was exceptional. However, the representatives fail to tell us the water was going to be out. We came in from a fun night on the town, and we could not take a shower or flush the toilet. This was unacceptable especially with no compensation.

I stayed one night this week on a last-minute reservation. I booked online for a "park and stay" rate. I hadn't been to this hotel before. I am wary of multi-level parking garages from a security standpoint so I was glad to be able to get a space outside near the front of the building. I could actually see my car from my room window. On checkout, though, the hotel tried to charge me $20.00 for parking. That charge was removed when I objected. The stay was good overall, but there were a few issues. Only one of the 2 elevators was working, so that caused some wait time. The room was good, although the chairs looked on the worn side. Good bathroom with shower pressure and instantly-hot water. Functioning mini-fridge. Microwave probably needs service, it sparked and overheated (this was room 712). Excellent blackout curtains. Limited TV channel choices. The hotel is located next to a strip club if that bothers you. i appreciated the 2 bottles of water. I didn't try the food or the bar, but both are available. For one night, the stay was fine.

We stayed 1 night here. Overall it was a good stay. The location is great, the staff were really nice and the room was decent. My only complaint is that it smells really bad inside to the point where it’s almost unbearable

First time is Texas and chose this place for our stay. We loved it. Check-in was fast. The room was simple and comfy. We used lobby bar, pool and they have self-parking garage. The location is nice, close to everything. Wish the room windows could open to let some fresh air in but it’s okay. Overall it was nice experience. Thank you

Booked far in advance to get connecting rooms. Their app even confirmed the connecting rooms as I booked direct. Come check-in time I get assigned 2 rooms on different floors! Explained that I had confirmed reservation for connecting rooms and was traveling with elderly parents and 2 children and could not be on different floors. Got a very aloof attitude from the check in person. After a long wait the only solution was 2 rooms across the hall which i grudgingly accepted. I asked that they should comp the $20 parking fee for all this trouble which drew a look of bewilderment from the staff. Needless to say to parking was not comped and of course the duty manager was not on-site to escalate to Having stayed in the Galleria are often, I will not be returning to this location. Check-in issues and room snafu aside, the guest rooms have paper thin walls and you can hear every conversation, toilet flush and shower sounds from adjoining rooms. To make matters worse there is construction abound in this hotel and overnight during our stay ALL the elevators stopped working which meant dragging all the luggage downstairs from the 5th floor at check out time Lastly while comparable hotels nearby offer a complimentary continental breakfast this place charges $15 / person for breakfast

The whole staff shows world class customer service. House keeping kept the room very clean. Also extra towels. I thank them as well. Great experience each time . The restaurant staff shows excellent customer service as well. Dale , and his crew . The only place I stay while visiting Houston.

This hotel was in a nice location. Close to alot of food options -some walkable but also an easy drive to a few other spots . Check in was quick and rooms were very clean ! Parking is 20.00 dollars a night and for some reason the wall would shake when the neighboring room would shut their door. Other than that the service , staff , and safety of this location was amazing. Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Strongly recommend.

This hotel is doing construction on every floor. It is loud all day & the dust and paint fumes are terrible. I would not stay here again, wait till they finish construction at least.

Upon arrival Isaiah was very helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we would enjoy our stay. Isaiah is the type of employee you want to keep around. The rooms were nice and located around plenty shopping and eateries. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My room smelled a little musty when I first arrived. And it was obvious that some air freshener was used as a poor attempt to cover it up. My room was against the elevators and the ice machine area (which was blocked off and under construction). After peeking behind the half detached plastic that was covering the doorway to the ice machine area, I saw that the wall adjacent to my room was being torn down and repaired from what i assume was a water leak, as the same smell from my room was present here, but much stronger. Why not fix the issue properly, or not rent out the room until its repaired? This was room 810 for anyone staying here soon.

The room is clean and tidy. The service is great. I reported a microwave issue and they got us a new one very soon! Great location with pool and parking. Will stay again soon!

Wow! I have never stayed at such a friendly and accommodating hotel. We booked a block of rooms for my daughter's wedding. Robert and Kim were a dream to work with! They were always available to answer questions and so helpful, keeping me updated throughout the process. The weekend of the event was made even more special by all of the staff's help! The newly renovated hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was very attentive and helpful and made sure we and our guests were treated special. We had a small gathering after the wedding in the lobby, which made the weekend even more perfect. Their lobby had ample space for all of our guests to meet and hang out. The hotel is situated n the heart of the Galleria and within walking distance to may restaurants and stores. I am so sad the weekend is over and looking for excuses to come back to this hotel.

The room I stayed in was near an exit door which people slammed every hour or so all night long. The room also overlooked the hotel's massive outdoor AC units that made a loud, continuous noise. Between the AC background noise and the door being slammed at regular intervals, I couldn't sleep at all and felt awful in the morning. When I checked out, no one asked about my stay - I guess no one really cared. $175/night.

Good experience, room was clean, there was hot water. Had a small issue but hotel staff took care of it. Would stay again! Parking was $20/day, better than other places around

Bed was pretty hard. Room service was spotty with towel replacement. The food is super good though. Still not a bad stay. The people were also really nice. $20 a night for parking is a bit much though. Could hear into the hallway quite clearly, which kinda sucked.

Great Stay! Great Staff! I'm only giving 3 stars because I didn't know the property was pet friendl. I could literally smell the pet odor in the rooms, hall etc.OMG! The staff was nice enough to move me to a new room but. No good. It's all over the hotel. All weekend my allergies had my eyes all swollen. 😔

Amazing experience. The room service staff were extremely kind and respectful. The front desk staff Zui was incredible in his customer service! We came late and he made the process extremely simple and stress free for us.

We stayed in this hotel last weekend, I have a 20 months old child and we were given a room with a shared door with the room next to us, of course the door was locked by still was not sound proof, our next door was very noisy during day and night and when I called the front desk to come to the room and see the situation I have been told that they are busy and they can come after 20-30 minutes and when I said I need someone right now, I have been told they will send someone from maintenance right away but no one showed up! I do not blame the next door for being noisy, because they also paid to stay and enjoy their time but the front desk should not give the room with a shared door to any other guests while the hotel was not even half full, or they should have let the guests like me know that what is the situation first. This was an unfortunate situation to be and I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel because of the very poor and not caring front desk staff.

We stayed for 5 nights abs our experience was absolutely amazing! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast crew fixed our kids Mickey Mouse pancakes every morning and the housekeeping staff left our kids stuffed animals hugging on the bed. It’s those little things that really make a stay go from good to GREAT! We highly recommend and will be staying exclusively at Hilton hotels from now on!
