Beautiful place, lovely outside views of sea and harbour. The sea food is really good but the number of options are very limited. Out of 15+ options only one dish which they did not cook in Beer. Even the fish and chips was cooked in beer. The taste and quality was really great, even the quinoa salad was so delicious.

Food was not bad. But I wasn’t sure which thing gave us the terrible diarrhea. Service was cold, not welcoming enough. Maybe they were just too tired, though I was expecting a better service for a lovely evening. Anyway, I don’t recommend this place for nice meals within this price range.

Waste of money. I asked for a Lobster 75 euro 500gr got tools to break the lobster claws not suitable for the purpose. After fighting with lobster for a few minutes I sent the lobster back to be broken down in the kitchen. It was sightly broken and the rest whole as before. I complaint for the second time and the waitress started ignoring our table.What's the point of paying for a meal that you can't eat? My friend asked for a meal that was 20 euro but charged more than 40. The cocktail I got was just wine and passion fruit juice together, home made style they didn't even used the mixer. Got food poisoning as well... My birthday was completely ruined. Terrible experience. Aqua Restaurant pretends to be posh but the service was clearly below average. Even a McDonald's in City center between 1 and 2pm has a better service.

Incredible views of the water from the restaurant. Fresh seafood with steak options too. The lobster was delicious. Definitely on the expensive side of things though. Worth the money I feel. My table had a great view of the sunset on the water.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend it. The food quality is excellent and the service is second to none. We had the fresh crab meat and the duck paté as starters and they are very tasty. We had the mussels and the lobster as mains. I would highly recommend the lobster as it was amazing. While Aqua is a fish restaurant, my parents decided to go for a Sirloin and Ribeye and the least we can say is that they weren’t disappointed. I will definitely come back!

Eight of us had lunch here on a Sat. We sat at a circular window in a corner with views on both sides. The service was attentive, my tuna was first class, the others were equally delighted with their meals. It was a special occasion, so we spent more than usual, but for what we got it was good value. This is a first class restaurant, well run.

Very Nice restaurant, great food, friendly service, amazing views of the Irish Sea 🌊 had the clam chowder and the grilled sea bream appetizer smaller size, and it was plenty. Fish and chips were great too!

There are marvellous views of the sea from Aqua restaurant in Howth and every now and then, wild harbour seals make an appearance. The sensational views were a huge bonus to the gorgeous seafood meal that we had and definitely appealed to the umami lovers among us. We decided to sample their early bird, daily specials and à la carte menus. To start, we had the crab claws with side salad and grilled scallops served with caviar and samphire. Every scallop that we had was wonderfully seared and seasoned and the tender samphire with caviar both impart a wonderful texture that went well with the delicious scallops. The crab claws were delectably buttery and with the lovely fresh salad, was a real pleasure to eat. For our mains, we ordered the seafood medley (monkfish, hake, salmon and scallops with super creamy mashed potato), whole grilled plaice, scampi and chips and the fish and chips. The scampi and the fish and chips were all crispy and tasty. The grilled plaice was succulent, fresh and simply divine. Of course, the star was the seafood medley and all of the seafood were excellently cooked, with the meaty monkfish being my favourite. A recurring theme as well was how lovely the presentation of each dish was and how attentive every single staff of member were. The last time we had seafood this gratifyingly exquisite was in Gozo and Aqua Restaurant are up there. A brilliant place to eat in Howth and in my humble opinion, definitely one of the best seafood restaurants in Dublin.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful with ocean view if you are looking for romantic place you need to go there and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious.

Great experience. Perfect location and attentive service. We had oysters and sole meuniere. Our friends opted for the calamari starter and halibut. We will go back whenever visiting Ireland again.

Unreal place! The lovely waitress asked the chef if they could make a different sauce for my mussels and they did! Amazing dish and great portion as well. The salmon was gorgeous too. They gave us some dessert on the house as it was our anniversary. Such a nice touch!!!! I cant find anything bad to say about Aqua! Definitely coming back. Thank you to all the lovely staff 💜

Amazing place, views and food! Very attentive and friendly staff too. Can highly recommend the pork belly for starters and Monk Fish for main. The crème brûlée is the best I ever had, same for the pork and fish!

Now we understand why Aqua Restaurant is the World's best seafood restaurant. First off the staff are exceptional very friendly. The atmosphere was tranquille and vibrant. Table spaces are present and the layout of the restaurant allows for this. The views are scenic the fishing boats taking fish off the boat coming port. The food 😋 was delicious and worth the price I would even go far and say undervalued. I got a lobster which roughly takes you between 40-50 minutes to finish completely, from clipping the legs an shells. We also got the wild Atlantic dish which was also delicious not as hardwork to finish of course. Dessert was also worthwhile so lovely and tasty. Our drinks were cocktails and were as tasty and delicious. I don't normally do restaurant reviews fyi but this is definitely called for and non sponsored fyi. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here. Just make sure you book online beforehand.

Great food and attentive service here. Cocktails are also very refreshing. We ordered the chowder, fresh oysters, scampi, sole, and scallops. All very delicious! Best seafood we’ve had in a long time. I only wish the seating was a little better, tables are very close together, too close to kitchen and you can easily hear others conversations so it’s a bit awkward to talk freely.

The view and service were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the prices were good for a place with such a view. Would recommend

Love this special little place in Howth , we had our first date here 15 years ago and have many superb meals with family ever since. The sea food is to die for especially the oysters and scallops . My boys love the fillet and ribeye . Thanks to Mark and team for looking after us for Pierces birthday xx

Very little place in the in the ground floor. Had to wait 30 mins to place an order. Loved the way calamari was cooked. Tried wings in Louisiana style but expected it to be more tastier. Chips 🍟 were were crispy. Food portions were generous.

This was my second time dine in Aqua restaurant. I have to say every time I experienced warm and friendly service. First time I had their lovely lunch food, and the second time was nice sunset dinner menu. Both lunch and dinner food were delicious and view was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place. The Cold seafood platter was really delicious, I loved every bit of it ❤️ Had “Whole Dover sole served on the bone” as my main dish. It was really good😊. Definitely coming back again.

This is the restaurant with an amazing view and just unbelievably delicious food! I would gladly be back here again and again. Best restaurant in Dublin I've been to so far. Consider to pre-book a table cause this is a very busy place. Tables are too small and can't fit comfortably more than one dish, as for me that is a big minus, but having a lunch dish-by-dish can be the solution. I've rated the service on maximum, but that is the good one maybe only by Irish standards, my opinion comparing to the other places in Dublin. But don't expect here a top quality professional service, it's maybe maximum 6 out of 10. But we aren't on Mediterranean here 😉 So I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a very delicious meal!

Good food as we had oyster as stater and lobster for main. Unfortunately our waiter was busy with everyone and his colleagues were able to look after us. Sunset was a bonus.

Everything was perfect! Parking place around there, good food and taste for who likes seafood! And good view through the window. Also a small surprise because my girlfriend and I were celebrating 2 years together. Very nice! I will be back again.

Beautiful and fresh fish and seafood! We went here per recommendation from the concierge from our hotel the Westbury and we did not regret it. Not only the view is stunning but the food was incredible! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Easily one of the nicest waterfront restaurants we've ever visited. The Oysters were as fresh as one could ever hope for and the menu offerings are robust and incredible combinations that are easily some of the best in the world. The espresso martini was exceptional. Just the right blend of perfect espresso and balance with the spirits. The town itself is an incredible discovery and then when you walk to the end of the waterway you'll find this hidden gem.

Went tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely out of this world.. so much attention to detail the chefs really know how to give their guests an experience we'll never forget.. everything was perfect, the staff were attentive without being overbearing in particular the young woman who was training she was brilliant..think the only downside was the 2 guests we were unfortunate enough to be beside for there age (45+) they were quite childish about staff and mocking how they interacted with them and how they spoke thankfully it didn't spoil our evening or experience and will definitely be back again...

Best sea food meal ever in Dublin. Super service, great view and kind staff. The lobster was AMAZING!!! I would suggest to go before the sunset as there is a better view and ask for a window table. Will definitely go again.

Great service, the view is expected to be lovely. Time it with a sunset. Lobster is really nice but so are other items on the menu. Service is also quick, you're never waiting to get served or get attention from the staff.
