We really liked the food here. The pizza was really rustic, had an authentic taste. The fish and the grilled vegetables were tasty. The lemonade contains real fruit. The place was busy because the also had a private event. We had to wait quite long for the food but we weren't in a hurry. The waiter tried to help out. The papanași is also on point. There is a restroom and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Was just passing by and stopped for dinner and it was the best choice ever. Great food, brilliant serving. Thank you. Definitely will stop again if passing by

After a day spent at the Castle, one gets hungry so we came here and it was simply delicious and we left satisfied and very full! The ciorba de Burta was light and not fatty like some other restaurants and the bread was also the best we’ve had! Yum! I ordered salmon which came with grilled veggies and a garlic light sauce/dressing and some potatoes but honestly the salmon with the legumes was enough and didn’t need the potatoes so you can go without! It does fill you up! The mamaliga was delicious and paired perfectly after eating the traditional soup! We also ordered the lava cake with ice cream and I honestly would do without. Didn’t like the texture- very spongey/soft in my opinion. Ample space inside and out( the garden is beautiful!) Also, when doing to the Womens restroom, I saw a baby changing table and thought that was very thoughtful for moms who need that extra! Family friendly in every way! Adelina, our server, was amazing and def deserves a raise! 🙌🏼 Thank you for the pleasant atmosphere and good food!

The place is definitely not worth the starts it has. The crew is not at all professional. They write your order and then mess it up, bringing you something else. So what's the point of writing it down? The meat on the plateau is not tasty, not well cooked and you can tell right away it is low quality meat. I ordered chicken wings. The wings had almost no meat on them, just skin and bones. The wings were very dry and not tasty. Do not recommend this place. Stay away from it, there are way better restaurants in the area.

Amazingly delicious Romanian food and excellent service in a charming setting. Highly recommend the ciorbă de burtă and the sarmale, and the papanași is the cherry on top of the cake.

Really nice restaurant offering an extensive menu with traditional Romanian, Italian, and western dishes. Great atmosphere on the terrace, the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The menu is in Romanian, but our lovely waiter spoke perfect English and is eager to get to know your taste and recommend or translate. The service is fast. I ordered the Beef Breast and Parmesan potatoes. Soft succulant cuts of beef with a very taste marinade. As a side, I ordered the Country potatoes, cooked with bacon and in Beef stock. Delicious. It was a lovely experience and walking distance from Castle Corvinus.

food quality-price = very good ratio I was pleasantly surprised to see how energized the waiters were, they were laughing and making jokes to entertain the children at the tables. I guess (and hope) they are treated right as employees that they have that much energy to put in every order. I would recommand for the music to be a little louder as the atmosphere was more like a dining canteen rather than a restaurant.

Very tasty food. Nicely cooked. I tried the chicken breast with apple sauce. Quite special, fresh sour-sweet taste. The lava cake desert was ok flavour-wise. Could use some improvement on the texture.

A really nice place. The food is excellent. And the service really makes you comfortable. Especially including the atmosphere.Would really recommend for any person.

5 stars for the food itself and the waiters, who were very nice and helpfull. But we ended up is discontent because the menus indicate a certain weight for each dish and in reality the amount of food is HUGE. We wasted food and money, not being able to finish one main course and a desert per person! (around 500 grams on menu, probably over 1 kg in reality...)

There is no menu in english or any other language except for romanian. The pizza is 3/4 cheese.

We had a daily menu here for lunch, the food was simple, traditional and very good. Staff was friendly. The highlight was the bread - we went back next day to buy some :)

Nice cosy restaurant near Hunedoara city centre. The food was great. We visited the restaurant on 31.12.2022. We didn’t have much choices as most of the restaurants were closed. This one was open a we are glad we ended up here.

Been there 3 yrs ago while visiting Hunedoara, and decided to go back again. Best decision...food was amazing, and the staff very helpful. Definitely going back next time I'm visiting Hunedoara.

The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. The service though... the restaurant was half empty, we asked three times for a coffee that never was served. After 40 minutes waiting for that coffee, we asked for the bill. In less than 4 minutes we had paid and left. They weren't that busy after all.

One of my favorite restaurants in Romania, which I always eat at while in the area. Nothing has changed since I've last been here five years ago: large portions, reasonable prices and tasty food (especially the tochitura and papanași). A must if in the area.

Good Food for reasonable prices. We had two Ciorba and shared Papanasi and this was enough for lunch. The restaurant was quite busy because there was a bigger group inside but still they managed to serve the food in time.

Good food and quick service. Prices could be cheaper for being in Hunedoara. The restaurante inside could smell better.

Decent prices and tasty food. From outside you would never guess that the inside + the terrace are so big :) Great lemonade!!! Keep up the good service.
