Inaugurated in 2019 it proves that even small cities can have something glorious around Probably all tourists coming here are interested in the Huniady Castle but it's nice to be rewarded with this gem as well

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 😊

Well, the pedestrian area in Hunedoara is what it is: a pedestrian area. Some water games (the ones for children got fenced in the meantime 🙄), buildings and shops are stuck 30 years back...

nice walk, very much like the rest of the city: full of contrasts, a new walk way, borderd by falling apartament buildings.. with few meal options, mostly pizza.

Nice place, central city promenade. It can be seen that they have almost fixed it. We sat in a cafe with good beer and coffee. The staff is friendly. It's a bit sad because you are in the vicinity of buildings that remain from the time when Hunedoara was a mining town. The remains of that hard, poor life can be seen everywhere.

It is OK to walk here. There are no cars and only a few bikes.
