Having been fortunate enough to stay at many luxury hotels in the recent past, I can confidently say that The Peninsula Istanbul ranks amongst the best hotels in the world. The expertly-designed rooms are complimented by extremely attentive staff. As an example, my wife’s luggage was lost by the airline and the staff, unprompted, delivered clothes and toiletries to tide us over until the bag was delivered three days later. Try your best to get a room facing the Bosphorous, as morning wake-ups to the red-hued sunrise over the water were magical. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say that if you’re thinking of staying at any of the other 5-star properties in Istanbul, do yourself a favor and book The Peninsula instead.

Our stay at The Peninsula was nothing short of spectacular. While the rooms and amenities are exceptional, The Peninsula staff truly standout. When we checked in late at night and our airline had lost our luggage, they proactively sent up a care basket with essentials (an assortment of personal care and femine products, change of clothes). Throughout our stay, concierge was always closely on hand (via whatsapp) helping us with restaurant reservations and status updates on our luggage. Each team member was welcoming, prompt, had exceptional attention to detail, and was always thinking one step ahead. The Peninsula Istanbul sets a new bar in hospitality.

Our stay at Peninsula Hotel Istanbul was truly remarkable, and I extend heartfelt thanks to Manager Jonathan Crook and his team for their impeccable attention to detail. The personalized anniversary amenities, including a picture in the room, enhanced our celebration. The quality of items in the room and the exceptional food further elevated our experience, creating an atmosphere of luxury and indulgence. The New Year's Eve gala, featuring a phenomenal 11-piece band from the UK, made for an unforgettable celebration. Thank you for ensuring our stay was filled with moments of joy and culinary delight. In addition, the spa facilities were excellent and the pool was fantastic, if not a little cold for our liking.

What a wonderful stay! The room was amazing, and the view magnificent. A lot of very handy equipment. It was my birthday and they got me a very delicious cake and a card signed by a few members of the staff, I thought it was a very delicate attention, it really touched me. Breakfast is good. The outside pool is a real treat, it's so nice to swim while admiring the city on the other side... and the other pool in the basement is very quiet and large. Not every hotel can boast having two 25meter long pools. There's nothing bad to say about this hotel. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a superb hotel with amazing rooms. The breakfast is out of this world and highly recommended. Did I mention that they have heated floors in the bathrooms of the hotel? Just amazing! The menu at the rooftop restaurant doesn't give the food justice, it's really really good. I recommend everything here!

Luxury experience from the second you walk through the door. Every staff member was very welcoming and helpful. The decor for the winter festive season was beautiful.

The ideal way for my wife and me to mark the New Year's Eve was sharing breathtaking 12 hours at this fabulous hotel, barely 11 days ago. Its exceptional standards mystified us with the food variety and prompt services, making the patronage the best obtainable in Istanbul. For all those touring Istanbul, or sections jacketed by the surrounding vicinities within Istanbul, I prompt you to award yourself the chance to experience this magical realm of excellence, given how enriched our glimpse was.

So disappointing. It feels more like a prison with these high fences and so many security measures. They even blocked the walk line along the seaside. Maybe it will be more useful to go outside and see the real city, not just the lux under the glass ceiling…
