Location is unbeatable, I stayed there 2 different times, and on my second arrival, i felt like i am coming back to my home. Staff welcomed me as their best friend. Good thing about beyoglu is you are not treated like a tourist there. which is nice to be one of the local people. I recommend everybody who needs a clean room and good place to stay :)

The hotel was on all sites as a wonderful place with great ratings. We stayed 3 days.. We took a deluxe suite and paid quite a bit. Following is the detailed review: Pros: - Large room with quite a lot of space and modern room design. - Very Helpful staff. They are always there to help. - Good location with Galata close by. Lots of eating options and shops open from 10 am -11 pm. - Mian bed is quite large. Cons: - No view at all. The images for the room on sites seemed to suggest that there was a Galata view from the room. However we got an empty office to look at. I had booked primarily with the view in mind and it was disappointing - Poor utilisation of space within the room. A small 4 seater dining table could have easily been fit in. Especially when a family is staying and getting take out, eating becomes inconvenient. - We had a separate single bed. However, no blankets were given with it. If you are calling it a bed, and a bed it was, bed linen should be provided. It did not even have a proper bed sheet. - No TV in a room being called a suite. This large a room will find takers from families and not having a TV is a huge disadvantage as kids need to be kept entertained all the time. TV's are non-negotiable. - The safe in the room was tiny. Only good for passports and phone. no laptop or tablet could be kept in it. - The bath only had a shower. No hand shower?!!! - Mini bar and toiletries were not replenished every day. We had the fruits on the first day and they remained like that for 3 days!!! The body wash also ran out midway and was not refilled. We could have asked but thats not how luxury works. - No full length mirror in the room - Getting to public transport was a 400m uphill / downhill climb. On the way back it was opposite. Effectively one 400 m uphill climb every time you chose to use public transport (not taxis). End of Istiklal or Karakoy was 400 m away. - Cafe on the ground floor only has cake and coffee options. - No lift, which is ok, but should be advertised prominently. All of the above shortcomings could be asked for but then how is it justified to call it a luxury boutique hotel.

Very kind staff, always willing to help you find your way. There isn’t an elevator to the fourth floor but they helped us get our bags up and down quickly and without asking for it. We stayed on the fourth floor. The location was perfect and if you stay here, I’d suggest getting private tours with transportation if you can manage it. It’s only a 20-30 minute walk (and very beautiful at that) to get to the heart of the walled city/old town. However, if you are not much for walking, you are a short distance from the T1 tramway that will take you all the way. Take advantage of being so close to Galata Tower. It offers the best views of the city. Go at 9am when they open.

This hotel was one of the best we’ve stayed in while in Istanbul. The owner/workers were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help. They rectified an issue with had immediately and then we found flowers in our room when we came back. Gorgeous toiletries in the bathroom and everything is clean. Would definitely come back 😊

We stayed here for three nights. While there isn’t an elevator, the staff will carry your luggage on arrival and on departure. There wasn’t a tv, but its Istanbul, so a tv wasn’t really a concern for us. Staff will go out of there way to help, in fact, was the best customer service we have had for a long time. Location is great. Can get busy, but again ,it’s Istanbul so it’s always busy. Would come back again.

I hardly ever write reviews but feel I must in this case. Quick summary - location 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, hospitality 10/10, overall 10/10. My husband and I just returned from Istanbul, and could not have been happier with our choice to stay at World House Boutique Hotel. This trip was very important to me for a number of reasons, so we cared a lot about making it as perfect and memorable as possible. To put it plainly, this hotel far exceeded our expectations and was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at any hotel anywhere in the world. From the beginning, Ant was incredibly accommodating. He helped us to find a solution when our flights were canceled, and made a stressful situation work out seamlessly. We ended up staying at this hotel two separate times during our trip abroad, so they arranged 4 separate airport transfers for us that were easy, safe, and comfortable. When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted and offered coffee and cakes from the hotel’s cafe while our bags were carried up to our room for us. The hotel is beautiful and brand new. The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean, and have ice cold AC. They even left us fruits, coffee, tea, and fresh flowers in our room along with the free mini bar. I don’t know how to describe the experience other than that it feels warm, friendly, and welcoming like you would expect from a bed and breakfast with the privacy of a hotel. The two people we spoke to the most throughout our stay were Kaan and Ergin who were at the front desk every day/night. Not only are they two of the nicest people we’ve met, but they’re such hard workers and so dedicated to making sure every guest is happy. We literally never saw them without a smile on their faces and they were there throughout our entire stay - all day and all night. They gave us great recommendations and helped us with everything we needed. They were also available via WhatsApp 24/7 if we ever needed anything while we were out. We left feeling so thankful that we had the opportunity to meet them. As far as location, we had originally looked at staying in Sultanahment (old city), and in the end decided to stay in Beyoglu instead. We’re so glad we stayed where we did. We only spent one day in Sultanahmet visiting the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bazaar, etc. and while it was beautiful, we would not have wanted to stay there for our entire trip as it was way too touristy. The hotel is located on Istiklal street, which is the heart of modern Istanbul and with one step out the door you’re in front of Galata tower surrounded by many bars, restaurants, boutiques, and live music venues. It is still within walking distance of the main tourist sites, and if you walk you will have a wonderful view of the mosques across the bridge. The shopping in the area of the hotel is much better than in Sultanahment as well, you’ll find similar things at a lower cost and people are generally not as pushy for sales. We never felt unsafe in the area, there were always people around at night on the street and it was well lit. You can walk around and find bars with live music. For anyone traveling to Istanbul for the first time, it is an incredibly modern city and there were many women walking around alone in the area of the hotel. There were a few times my husband was distracted in a shop and I wandered by myself, and I felt comfortable and like this area would have been good for solo travel. If you love coffee as much as I do, you’ll also be surrounded by some amazing 3rd wave coffee shops (including the cafe at the hotel which was great). If you’re reading all the reviews thinking this is too good to be true, so did we. All in all, we would never consider staying anywhere else in Istanbul now that we know how wonderful this hotel is. Truly above and beyond in every possible way, and one of the first times we’ve truly been amazed at how much better it all is in person. 5 star hotels around the world should start taking notes. :)

Highly recommend hotel for those who like to stay in active touristic areas. The hotel is very close to Galata Tower and its a re-innovative old building with amazing decoration. The place is very clean, safe and it’s so quite inside the hotel, the area around the hotel is very popular and its always active so you will hear noise from people on street during night which is expected considering the location. Room size was good for us (Two girls), not too big and not too small and its equipped with small fridge and hair dryer. No elevator in the hotel but the staff can help you with the luggage. I can say that our stay was amazing from Hi to Goodbye specially with the kindness we received from the staff, they were polite and nice, they provided recommendations for nice restaurants and supported us booking a taxi to the airport. Special thanks to Ozan & Ergin for their professional work and the nice hospitality.

Perfect cozy place with excellent coffee ☕️and pies at first floor. Hotel staff was as friendly as our friends, so it was really as at home. Nice interior design, great location. One of the most hospitable places I’ve ever been.

We had a great stay in this newly refurbished boutique hotel, centrally located in the buzzing streets surrounding the Galata Tower. Our room was well designed and laid out with fresh flowers in the room being a nice touch for our arrival. This is a charming place offering clean, smart, no-fuss hotel rooms ideally located to explore the Galata, Karakoy and Old Town areas of Istanbul. Although breakfast is not available, the Privato Cafe nearby serves an excellent traditional Turkish breakfast + there are many other options within a stones throw of the hotel. We would have marked our review as a 5 stars but for a few small areas we felt could use improvement or rethinking. The reception team were all incredibly helpful and keen to hear / act on our feedback and suggestions, with a genuine desire to make our stay a memorable one for all the right reasons. We certainly enjoyed our stay here - thank you to the team at World House.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Great rooms, good coffee downstairs, super friendly staff. Free soft drinks in minibar, welcome fruits. Chic cozy and located in a great area.

The rooms were gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. The only issue were that the location is hard to find and there is no elevator. But there is a lovely conservatory behind the reception desk, that was a great place to sit and relax.

There's no breakfast! But they tried to make up for it by providing complementary cold drinks, coffee, nuts and fruits in the room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms looks nice but they are not properly cleaned. You can find mosquito, ants and other flies. WiFi was really bad. It's not secure and very slow. The location is nice. And they have a nice cosy cafe for coffee and dessert.

Right in the Galata area, there are many eateries nearby (within walking distance). Room is clean and beautifully furnished. Especially love the interior of the hotel. The hotel manager was very kind to even provide us with his IstanbulKart when he learnt that we did not have one. He also very kindly chatted with us and told us the best timings to visit certain places. Highly recommended!

Lovely rooms though quite small. Even difficult to open a suitcase and not take the entire floor. No breakfast and a bit slow the checkin. No elevator and is not indicated. No TV but guess thats fine. The location depending on what you’re looking for: Very centric location BUT on a extremely noisy street. I asked in advance for a quiet room and was ignored by saying that windows were soundproof, which really is not enough for the level of noise from traffic, music and people screaming till very late at night Overall the “Luxury” seems to be self-proclaimed, not enough to have pretty pictures and not a service that goes along with

This is our second stay at World House Boutique. We stayed for 8 nights. The location cannot be any better than this place. But you will need to walk up hill to get to the hotel. So be prepared to get some exercise. The entire staff was professional and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Shout out to ÇAĞATAY who made us feel like we were friends. And a shout out to Samuel who upon arrival saw how exhausted we were and gave us a room immediately to rest. They were both so genuine and sincere. ÇAĞATAY gave us great suggestions around town. Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning our room every day and making sure all our toiletries and water were stocked. The cafe makes a great cup of coffee and make sure you try the San Sebastian cheesecake. Mr. Ant Tuncay should get an award for best training of his team members. Just 1 improvement...I need more closet space to hold clothes and store my luggage.

Truly great hotel in Istanbul - perfect and super friendly service , great design , super clean rooms ! Only 1 thing to consider - no elevator. Wasn’t an issue for us, but might me for someone. Will definitely stay again .

The rooms are old but the mattresses are clean .. It is a good place for those looking for cheap common rooms near the Galata Tower. Unfortunately, although I have booked this place several times, this time I met a man who was later known as the owner of the place. Unfortunately, someone with a bad tongue chanted some sentences that questioned our integrity. When I objected to repeating this talk, he said that the place was his place and we could cancel our booking and leave. I would have to say that my friend was coming with me to book a place for a group coming from Ukraine, for four days but he retreated after that, the rest of the staff were very nice and there was a cafe Wonderful .

Can't recommend this place enough. This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had over many years travelling. From start to finish, the manager and staff (particularly Aggy) could not do enough to help us. Location wise this is bang in the middle of the action in Karokoy, with loads of bars and restaurants around it, but peaceful inside and at night. We walked to Aya Sofya/the palace in around 20 minutes, so it's ideal for exploring that side of the river too. The loft room was beautiful and we loved sitting out on the little deck at the back in the evening. Coffee from the shop at the front is also really good! Will stay here next time we are in Istanbul for sure.

We had a perfect stay in this little but cute hotel. It is combined with a delicious coffee shop. Especially Firat helped us a lot. They were wheelchair friendly. The location is very central so you have a lot to see just Arround you. The rooms were always clean. I can recommend this place. Luggage can be locked.

Perfect place in the heart of Istanbul. Ideal starting point to explore the city, beautiful rooms, connected to an amazing little coffee shop to kick off the day. Most attentive and kind staff - special mention for Ozan - that will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Very much recommended if you enjoy a little individual place with personality.

Genuinely one of the best stays I’ve had at a hotel, and I live out of hotels for work. The hospitality was unbeatable, everyone who worked there, including the manager made us feel as if we were guests visiting their home. The location is the best in Istanbul—cannot recommend enough and will definitely be staying here during all future visits to the city.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, secure building. A safe, chill environment for a solo girl traveler like myself. Far enough off the beaten path but still close to sites and restaurants. Taksim is a wonderful neighborhood! Easily accessible by transit to both airports!!

Amazing close to Galata Tower, the place on the name of which they have a famous football club as well. The staff was good and really helpful. Maps and guides are available. And there's a Cat! The place is close to almost all modes of transportation. And you can easily get cabs around here as well. The streets nearby are always a happy and happening place as it is close to a famous spot for viewing whole of the city. Recommended for individuals who are backpackers and want to meet people from regions that you have never been to and get inspired.

I enjoyed staying at the property, but unfortunately after leaving and checking my account, I noticed that I had been CHARGED TWICE on my card. After contacting World House Hostel, I was first ensured they would look into it and correct the situation. Now after three months and several more contact attempts later I am giving up and leaving this review. So, don't use your card at this hostel..

Options of a room with private bathroom or dorm like rooms. Location is great. About 100m to the Istiklal Street and 30m to the Galata Tower. Streets are pretty busy with people mostly tourists. Cafes and restaurants are everywhere with price ranging from moderate to expensive. All are halal food.

Really great multi-lingual front desk people. I arrived quite late, like 2am. the taxi driver got lost . So they came & walked half a kilometer to show him where to go. STRATEGICALLY LOCATED near Galata tower so you just look up if you ever get turned around. Decent breakfast with tea included. Clean shared bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Very Clean Private rooms are available, I prefer the clean spacious coed dorm rooms. E Everyone i met was really nice and friendly from all over the world. Additionally, as I had mixed time jetlag I really enjoyed the lobby in the middle of the night. Everyone was super chill. VERY Economical & did I say ..friendly?? 😉😂🤣😂🤣🤣

We were walking by and the waitress stopped us and she kindly suggested us a very nice restaurant, so we came back for saying thank you and grab a drink and the owner mustafa once he heard we were italian he invited us for a coffee! He is a very nice person and I would definitely recommend this cafe. They have a hostel too and is perfectly located near the night time side of Istanbul and close to galata Tower!

Great little hostel right across the street from Galata tower. Not too big of a common space, but the people who were around including those working were very friendly. Some of the dorms even have a great view of the tower from the window!

World house hostel is a great place to stay. I booked the private room and since my flight was landing early morning, I wrote an email to them asking if early check in could be arranged. They responded promptly. On reaching the hostel, my room was not vacated yet, so I kept my bags at the hostel and went roaming around Istanbul. Rooms were clean. My room even had a great view of the Galata Tower! Breakfast was good.
