My favorite spot in Yutenji for a charming vegetable-forward lunch. Delicious food, aesthetic interior, and kind service from the owner/chef who runs the restaurant herself. The only downside is the long wait on weekends — recommend coming on a weekday if possible. There was a short wait even on a Tuesday at 2pm. Best for groups of 1-2 people. Recommend the vegetable plate (pictured, large size comes w soup and cheese bread).

This place is so so cute, the atmosphere is super cozy. The food is also great. I order buttermilk squash and it was delicious, so was the grilled cheese toast. The owner is also a very nice lady. I will definitely come back♥️♥️♥️

This place deserves a Michelin star! Each dish in the deli plate had a noteworthy and individual delicious texture and flavour. The vegetables had a charcoal grilled touch which was wonderful, yet not overbearing. The roast potatoes were perfect with a light crisp and soft center with buttery overtones. The Blueberry cheesecake tart and the lemon cake were so good, that each bite was a journey into flavour. In short, this place is excellent. Five stars!

Amazing restaurant!! The food was divine, and very well presented. We had the quiche (asparagus and lentils), the soramame cold soup and the cheese bread. Absolutely everything was delightful. And the lemonade was the same. Be sure to arrive on time or a bit earlier as there are only 4 tables and it gets packed early.

This place is run by a lovely lady who makes you feel very welcome into her kitchen and dining room. Simple but delicious menu. The bread she uses is an excellent accompaniment to her food.

Amazing lunch place! The cauliflower soup was a perfect balance of salty and savory and the bread had amazing cheese melted on top- not the cheap gross time typically sold in Japan. Like actual cheese that was amazing! At around 1000yen, definitely not bad either. Plus the ambiance is like a little French place. Will definitely be coming here again.

My favorite place for a hearty, healthy lunch. The interior is so cute! Everything I've tried are delicious. Vegetarians are well-catered here with the soup/bread fish, quiche (usually legumes quiche), and the veggie plate. Don't forget the fromage tart with fruits on top!

Cute cafe/brunch place near the Yutenji station. It is run by a single lady and has almost always a waiting queue during the lunch time. The restaurant has 4-5 large tables and I am never able to understand why the owner doesn't separate into smaller tables to accommodate more customers as most of the customers are either couples or a pair of women. The menu offers set meals with a vegetarian option of grilled vegetables, soup, bread and quiche, worth 1700 yen. Expect the preparation time to be atleast 15-20 minutes as there is just 1 lady working on all orders. They only accept cash for payment, so please be careful.

I’ve stayed a few times in Yutenji but this was my first time trying this restaurant as we’re usually out all day. We did have to wait about half an hour as there’s only 3 tables inside. It was worth the wait! The food was excellent and it seems like everything is run by one woman which is amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area.

Simply the best brunch you can find in the area. When Naomi had her shop in Yutenji, I used to go at least once a week. I just can’t get enough of that proper, REAL French food taste. Give it a try, I will pay myself for your meal if you are not satisfied :)
