Plate Tokyo is by far one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, period. Ayano-san, the owner, is a fantastically skilled and knowledgeable chef and sommelier who somehow manages to cook and present beautifully tasting and looking food while simultaneously merrily engaging with her guests throughout their entire stay at her restaurant. I could not recommend Plate Tokyo more.

You can most certainly have a really great time here!! Very cozy casual style inside, food is on point. My favorite was the cheese for dessert!

A definite must go if you like a fusion of French Cuisine with a Japanese touch, great selection of wine and a cozy atmosphere. Ayano (the chef) is very friendly and her dishes are very creative. Tastes you'll probably want to experience several times (I've been there twice already in a span of two weeks and going back soon ;). Last but not least, I gave this 5 stars, because the price and quality of food, rarely exist like this in Tokyo and Ayano's skills will not go unnoticed for sure! One word: Enjoy!:))

Plate Tokyo is kind of like dropping by your friend’s place for dinner. Except your friend is an incredible and friendly chef with a spontaneous menu - and an amazing wine collection. Modern fusion French, with Tokyo accents and inspirations. Definitely drop by!

Plate Tokyo is a French inspired restaurant, but what makes it very special is the warmth, connection and community that Ayano fosters. You will find that this humble space is the intersection of some of the greatest artists and designers, and architects in Tokyo, it's charactered walls are steeped with a creative spirit of that is so rare in the world today. It is an intersection, between what is Japanese and what is western.

Tokyo cuisine, french based, cool mood! I like Plate Tokyo, food is great, presentation is beautiful, flexible regarding health-food related customization. Prices are reasonable, and the chef Ayano san is the best at pairing food and wine! Must try, highly recommend!

We had the best meal here last week! The chef Gen is amazing and so kind to come explain the food. All the food was a hit, and impressive! Fresh, creative, and perfectly cooked. The owner is a gem, a social extrovert who’s built an impressive restaurant business. The atmosphere is casual and quirky but the food is elevated. The wine was great, some wonderful natural wine options. She was also very hospitable to our 11 month old baby! We’d love to return one day.

Awesome place and like walking into a friend’s house for dinner (or brunch). Owner is super friendly, and cute as a button. Plus she’ll sit down with you and drink, guaranteeing a new friend. She cares about your likes and dislikes, but tell her in advance - reservations also advisable, as she only opens when customers are coming in. Food isn’t quite French - more “contemp” fusion and/or whatever she feels like making.

Ayano the owner was a delightful host. We felt we were welcomed like part of the family. My wife and I were celebrating a special anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The environment is local and social, as if you're eating at the kitchen of a friend, but the food and service are top notch and elegant. One of the most rewarding culinary experiences you can have in Tokyo due to the way you can interact with the people who are there in addition to the excellent food being served.

Ayamo curates each dinner with gusto and panache. The wine selection is an absolute blast to experience and the food, which is unique nightly, is amazing. I can recommend this experience without reservations to anyone in town who wants good food and a personalized touch (PS, actual reservations recommend)

Amazing owner and chef. Food is absolutely delicious. We do a lot of takeout there and can order online. She will provide preparation instructions and orders can be picked up or shipped to you. Definitely an experience to have restaurant quality food at home!

10/10 totally worth the trip. It's far from the train but a quick cab ride will get you great food and be unlike any other place you try in Tokyo.

It was amazing dinner ever in Tokyo!! I drank wine from Torbreck was awesome! Wine & foods are perfect marriage. Restaurant is usually only course, but if the owner is good feeling, only drink the wine is also okay! It's up to your luck! BEST REOCOMMED!!
