Freshly made pupusas! I had the pupusa made out of spinach and cheese which was really delicious with the side dish of cabbage and red sauce to put on top. Customer service was great also mentioned that they will have more vegetarian dishes available.

My family and I are visiting from Phoenix, Az and we were glad we stopped to eat here. Service was great, staff was friendly, and food was so delicious we came twice and everything we ordered was great.

I love this place! The fish tacos are always immaculate! It's a really nice family-run restaurant. The art shows every month are stunning as well!

Food had great flavor and tasted homemade. The service was good and friendly. We ordered a few things to taste their menu, tacos, torta, pupusa and plate entrees.

This place is great! Very friendly and kind staff. The food was excellent! We loved the tacos, but all other dishes we've tried are wonderful. Both times we went, the owner/staff gave us some extra complimentary food to try. I'd highly recommend this place.

Everyone at Irma's is absolutely incredible. First of all I can attest to the magical healing properties of her homemade chicken soup! The hearty, generously packed soup has not only kept body and soul together when I was under the weather but has hit the spot in every conceivable way. What's more I'm feeling like I was just visited by an Angel as I think it might have been Irma that delivered this Manna from Heaven herself! Irma and her team not only went out of their way to serve only the best, most delicious food but they were incredibly generous also, adding extra items I hadn't even ordered. Can't thank them enough, and rest assured I'm looking forward to my next culinary delight from this wonderful establishment! Thanks everyone at 'Team Irma!' Food here is amazing, shout out big momma Irma. Haven’t ate anything I don’t like. The tall guy who used to work the register isn’t there which is great. The guys who work there now are super chill and friendly and always take my order quickly and efficiently. Just wish they didn’t charge so much for the food.

Irma's Cafe, The Best Fish Tacos in Jersey City, The Soups are Home Made and extraordinary. The Lunch Specials are very delicious and affordable.

We got pupusas and birria tacos. It was probably a fluke since there are so many positive reviews but all three of us got sick within a few hours of eating there. Aside from that, neither were that good unfortunately and I wouldn’t say there service was that great either.

I am lucky enough to live a block away from Irma’s Cafe, and I’ve had nothing but delicious meals and positive experiences there. The bean and cheese pupusas are my favorite, and the birria quesadilla is amazing!

I love Irma’s!!!! Food is always fresh and delicious. Big portions. Good prices. This combo you won’t find anywhere else in the heights! Plus great customer service!!! They used to use styrofoam for takeout but now use compostable containers so that’s just even better!!! This place also seems to be attuned to what vegetarians or vegans are and what they need and how to set your food straight which I appreciate! Because then everyone can enjoy Irma’s!!! Now they have elote and mangonada.. just in time for the summer. can’t wait to try!

The food at this restaurant is amazing! The steak dinner which comes with rice, beans, plantains, & potatoes were so good. The black beans, however were a bit salty. Other than that, the food is a 10/10. I highly recommend the pupusas and horchata. Good Customer service also

Such a nice experience stopping by and eating here. I’ve walked by this place a dozen times and decided today was the day and it’s so worth it! The cashier was a super sweet guy and made sure we got everything we wanted, our waiter was kind and courteous and also made sure everything was alright with our food which it definitely was :) and the food! we got milanesa sandwiches and flautas. soooo good! highly recommend coming by and grabbing a quick bite or sit down and enjoy the ambience!

Omg the pupusas here are seriously legit. I've ordered pupusas from every place imaginable in the union city/Jersey City area and they're all greasy AF. not these. They're perfectly cooked, not greasy and they give you sooo much slaw i love it. The queso y loroco one is the best. I think they use a different kind of cheese and it just has so much flavor

This was my first time at Irma’s Cafe. Such a great experience. I had the opportunity to be one of their artists for July and was so honored to visit this incredible small woman owned business near my apt. I had the burrito and it had such great flavor and sitting by the window was a great spot to draw and take in the neighborhood. I highly recommend stopping by😁
