Update:
Now
open
for
dine-in,
although
still
feels
like
a
soft
opening.
Favorite
ever:
sweet
and
sour
pork
ribs.
Lunch
set
is
worth
it
because
the
side
potato
is
delicious.
Beware
if
you
order
to
eat
there
and
pay
with
credit
card,
there's
a
small
charge
of
$1.20
(or
could
be
proportional
to
the
bill)
tagged
as
a
"cash
discount",
except
rather
than
a
discount,
it
gets
added
if
you
pay
by
card.
I
understand
that
a
small
business,
specially
a
new
one,
needs
to
do
what
it
can
to
make
money
and
become
profitable.
I
really
want
Salt&Ginger
to
succeed
in
the
long
term
because
I
really
enjoy
their
sweet
&
sour
ribs
and
I
want
them
to
be
open
for
as
long
as
I
live
in
NJ!
But
please
let
people
know
before
charging
extra
fees,
we
also
need
to
make
our
money
by
hard
work
and
deserve
to
know
upfront
what
we
will
be
paying
for
our
meal.
$1.20
is
not
a
lot,
but
knowing
this,
I'll
make
sure
to
bring
cash
in
the
future
when
I
dine
here.
Got
the
short
ribs
and
beef
noodle
soup.
This
restaurant
is
Shanghainese
cuisine,
and
sweet&sour
short
ribs
is
one
of
my
top3
favorite
Chinese
dishes
as
I
grew
up
eating
it.
I
loved
the
taste
of
it
and
the
amount
was
very
decent.
Some
of
the
meatier
pieces
were
slightly
tougher
but
nothing
I
couldn't
eat,
whereas
the
bonier
pieces
were
heaven
in
a
mouthful.
-----------------------------
The
beef
noodle
soup
was
different
from
what
my
husband
expected
since
he
usually
eats
either
the
Sichuan
style
or
the
taiwanese
style;
at
first
when
we
saw
the
broth
we
thought
they
gave
us
a
different
soup
by
mistake.
However,
he
said
it
tasted
balanced
and
good,
and
while
he
probably
would
order
beef
noodle
soup
elsewhere
and
order
smth
else
here,
he
still
enjoyed
it.
Their
signature
dish
seems
to
be
the
stewed
pig
feet,
which
I'm
generally
not
into,
but
it's
definitely
a
more
authentic
Chinese
dish
than
most
other
restaurants
I've
seen
in
JC.
If
you're
feeling
adventurous
(or
if
you
already
ate
pig
feet
to
start
with)
definitely
try
it!
We
were
told
that
the
restaurant
would
soon
open
indoor
dining
and
start
selling
soup
dumplings
(another
favorite
of
mine)
and
rice
cake
(Shanghai
niangao,
on
of
my
husband's
favorite
Shanghainese
dishes),
so
we
are
very
looking
forward
to
it!
One
additional
note
is
that
they
only
accept
physical
cards
and
cash
right
now.
We
were
coming
from
the
gym
for
a
quick
take-out,
so
we
only
had
our
digital
cards
on
our
phones
and
it
took
us
a
very
long
time
to
figure
out
how
to
make
the
payment,
which
was
a
bit
inconvenient.
We've
more
recently
also
tried
the
lunch
sets
and
the
side
potatoes
are
delicious
and
very
authentic
too!
Love
the
sets
(with
sweet
&
sour
ribs
or
beef
broccoli)
