Went here for brunch and enjoyed the food a lot (although it took quite some time to come). Definitely recommend their hummus + tahini :) I also really like their interior!

Frankie is MY FAVORITE place in Jersey City, or anywhere for that matter, my fiance and I come here several times a week, we love it so much we got engaged here. The food is incredible and fresh, the ambiance and vibe is top notch, and the staff/service is really the best part. Great wine and cocktails too! Some of our favorites are the kimchi fried chicken, seafood or veggie curry, broccolini salad, and a really good double cheeseburger, but we have loved almost everything on the menu. Some of our favorite cocktails are the Lovely Creature and Above the Clouds! We also love their orange wine selection too. Trust me, this place is awesome.

We visited for dinner and liked the taste of food here. Both the dishes we ordered, Coconut green curry (veggie ok option) and whole branzino was yummy. Though I did expect a higher quantity of food given the prices of the menu. They have outdoor seating, which is nice even in fall season. There are vegetarian options. Kids food options are available on request. The service was friendly.

I really looked forward to coming here, but the service tonight left so much to be desired. We saw as our waiter checked on all the other tables that they had in our section but us. Honestly, we felt quite neglected. Especially as we saw another waiter be attentive to his tables near our section. We understand that the place was busy, but the level of service that we were provided felt very out of place. In addition, what you pay for your meal does not seem in line with what you get in quantity or quality of food. We really don't mind paying a good chunk of money for great food, but the price did not match the value received. We do want to shout out the waiter named Dakota for showing us genuine hospitality and getting us our check after our waiter basically ignored us. My partner seemed to have a more enjoyable meal than I did and Dakota was nice so I'm giving Frankie a 2 ⭐ review rather than just one. Perhaps this restaurant is better for brunch or lunch, but I don't see myself coming here ever again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown JC. For appetizers, we liked Muhammara (hummus with flatbread). The bread was hearty and grilled perfectly. Kimchi fried chicken was crispy and flavorful but a bit too salty for me. For entrees, we loved the Whole Grilled Branzino. They had changed their recipes from red curry sauce to nam Jim & sesame sauce. Both versions were great. The Branzino was grilled to perfection with crispy skin. The herbs, spice, and nuts on top the fish bursted with delicious flavors. We also tried the Bolognese Pappardelle. Though the taste was good, the portion size was a bit small.

Great ambiance. The food was amazing! Apps and sides definitely get to share. While the mains are really filling for one person would recommend doing tapas style. Cocktails could be a bit better. Service was attentive. A place for both day time and night time.

We went for dinner on a weekday. Fun night, not crowded, got a good seat. The fish is so well done, interesting flavor, Asian fusion style. Not really spicy but very impressive spice mixed sauce, can’t name it. My first Australian restaurant and it made me want to try more Australian food.

Nice vibes, went in on Saturday evening, got a reservation one hour prior for a table of 3. Got the flower in the sun non alcoholic drink, it tasted nice. For food got hummus and flatbread, that was okay. Got kimchi fried chicken, tastes too tangy after a while. The veggie burger was simple and nice. Overall a good place.

Food was good, but small portions. I ordered a crab omelette and it was all bread and eggs almost no crab, my husband ordered the salmon avocado, also a very small portion. All the dishes came with a lot of bread, I guess to compensate the tiny portions. Thanks to the pancakes were weren’t starving after we finished. I wish I liked this place better because it is really cute and the staff is nice!

First time here for brunch and sat at the bar. Nice interior atmosphere. Had a latte and CBD infused beet/OJ/ginger juice called Nico’s song that was very refreshing. Ordered the hummus & tahini dish that was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back and try some other food.

Came here around 4:10pm on a Sunday with my bf and was seated immediately in their outdoor seating. We had no idea who was suppose to be our waiter and had to flag someone down to get our orders in. The iced tea came out quick and then the waiting game began. The outdoor seating wasn’t full house and inside was basically empty so I was really confused what caused the slow service? 30 mins later, our ‘small plate’ dish of Kimchi Fried Chicken finally arrived. It was really delicious!! Another 20 mins have passed and a new waiter came out maskless with our main dishes!! (On the bottoms right of their menu, they even asked people to wear a mask when ordering.) I had the Fish n’ Chips and the presentation was sad. The fish was good but the fries were alright, with one that was super burnt. My bf had the Steak & Onion Pie and he enjoyed the pie. Overall, the food was good but the service was not there. We had 4 different employees during our meal, it’s not like they were under staffed or some finished their shift, I saw all of them by the time we left. Also I notice they do not sanitize or wipe the tables after they are cleared and even seated new people… Only saw a few tables getting cleaned when we were about to leave, which have been empty for over 40 minutes.

Dinner with friends is perfect at Frankie’s. Their food is delicious, and their atmosphere is totally fun. The best part of our meal was the appetizers. We had the labneh, which is a must-have. The lamb sausage roll was another highlight and a perfect dish to split. For dinner, my girlfriend raved about the fish and chips, saying it was one of the best she’s ever had. One of the best parts of Frankie’s was their hospitable host and waiter. They were nice, attentive and helpful. We got hot sitting outside during our meal and they moved us inside without any fuss. 10/10! I’m definitely bringing friends here again.

Amazing vibes, great food and drinks and happy hour deals. Probably the nicest looking space I’ve been in Jersey City! It’s so nice that they seem to change their menu pretty often - the spring risotto was incredible so I’m sad it’s gone though! The burger was really good flavor-wise but it was a two thin patty medium-well done burger (I generally prefer a thick medium rare!)

Went for dinner. Grilled Branzino was impressive! Love the hummus with flatbread. Seasoning for the wings were a little heavy. Overall, taste great but little overpriced for the food portion.

Throughout my time there, I had a pleasant experience. I love the pink walls, the green plants, and the unique art. I enjoyed the food. The Full English breakfast I had was very filling and tasty. My drink of choice was a tumeric latter, which was lightly sweet and complemented my meal well. It was their donuts that surprised me. My boyfriend and I still had some room for dessert after our meal, so we ordered donuts. It blew my mind when I tasted the donuts. Served warm, it had chocolate sauce running down the sides. It has a soft, spongy dough. The sweetness is just right, but not overwhelming like Dunkin' Donuts. Despite everything else, I'd come back just for the donut!

Tasty offerings and creative non-alcoholic cocktails. Was a bit overwhelmed by the choice of food, but everything we ended up ordering was great. Husband's hard to please when it comes to ordering fish and was very pleasantly surprised by the Branzino. He actually had to compliment after every few bites!

If you're a fan of burrata, this Jersey City restaurant is an absolute must-visit! I had the pleasure of trying their burrata, and it was hands down the best I've ever tasted. Creamy, fresh, and bursting with flavor, it left me wanting more. The overall dining experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional cuisine. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in Jersey City!

The place is totally welcoming with its city beach interior, totally gives Australian vibes. The Welsh rarebit (bruschetta) was the perfect way to start the dinner as it is creamy , cheese sprinkled with hot spices. The pea dumplings were good but the peas were a bit under cooked, I’m sure if the filling was a bit more softer and pasty it would have been awesome, and the last incredible meal was the kimchi fried chicken that melted in my mouth. I rarely eat meat as I am mainly pescatarian but that chicken was incredibly good. Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu.

This restaurant is extremely busy over the weekends. Please plan to reserve a table if you plan on going. The food was good with small portions. The waiter was so forgetful that he missed bringing us the sides we ordered after reminding him twice.

Had happy hour drinks and small plates here. Happy hour cocktails were actually incredibly delicious and I would come again just for those cocktails. I loved the small plates, very tasty, but definitely I left hungry for dinner afterwards. I loved the chic and trendy interior, can’t wait to come back for a date or girls night.

We were first introduced to frankies in 2020 via takeout. This was our first time dining in and decided to expire a little more of the menu beyond what we normally order (aka the veggie burger and fries). This time we tried the chive dumplings, hummus, and seafood curry! All were absolutely amazing! We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Went here on a Saturday evening with a seat reservation. Good ambience, pretty spacious and closer to the PATH station. Cocktails were pretty good. Ordered the burrata and muhammara with the flatbreads to start off, which was good. I found the portions a bit less. The frankie burger was well done, with balanced flavors but the fries could have been better. Shrimps were flavorful but nothing too special. Overall decent food and drinks, good ambience and service.

Nothing short of incredible! I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the USA and now living in New York I found my favorite restaurant of the country in Jersey City. The menu is subtle and yet complex with table pleasers for any audience. The wine list is one of the best on the east coast. Foodies and families seamlessly dine side-by-side in a beautiful atmosphere that has been created by a warm and friendly interior design that complements the impeccable menu. A must visit!

Portions a way too small. We ordered the hummus & tahini bowl and the eggs with salmon, bowl came with literally two spoons of quinoa in it... Salmon plate was shockingly small too. We also got charged for extra bread which is not ok in general and even more when meals are sized for kids. The two stars only got here because the vibe is very nice and decoration super cute. I would definitely come here to grab a coffee. But never again for food!!

5/5 ambience, they make it really cozy and there's so much going on but it feels so comfortable. 3.5/5 for the food. I enjoyed my Bolognese but their fish and chips were very underwhelming (fries were hot but not crispy, fish was severely underseasoned). The lamb sausage roll contained a lot of spices but maybe too many spices. The drinks weren't too bad but sitting at their bar, it kinda felt like the bar was all over the place. They got drinks out fine so I might not know what I'm talking about but their movements did not inspire confidence lol Overall, this place is quite pricy and I probably would not take someone new to try it but I might go to give them a second chance.

I love the ambiance here and their food is great. Sometimes the food is a hit or miss here, depending on how busy they are. But their cocktails are always delicious.

Very nice brunch place. The restaurant is beautiful and it feels like in Australia. I arrived there before the opening time but the server allowed me to sit inside and have a coffee. Very nice people and good food. Thanks!

Generally the food was good. I especially loved their jasmine rice served with vegetarian green curry. Although the green curry too sweet for my taste I dont mind to return for the rice sake, and I am not even a rice person. Waiters and said are friendly. A place you should go for dinner
