New owners are amazing!! Such a great vibe and a fun place to hang in Jersey City!

My partner and I moved to Jersey City two years ago and out of all the places we’ve gone we had one of the best experiences at Healy’s. Really great vibes and the staff were beyond nice and helpful with menu items and recommendations. We heard they’ve been under new ownership for about a year and have made a ton of great changes to the menu, staff, and did a big renovation to add an outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Can’t possibly begin to say enough about this place. Had a surprise party here and everything was perfect. The owners were kind, funny, charismatic, and excited for us. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was electric, and everyone had a great time. To every Healys employee- thank you for putting in the effort! It was GREAT

Great little bar with awesome food and cheap beers. It’s good to see places like this still thriving. It was my first time and will definitely go back when I’m in the area.

Amazing bar with the lowest prices, cheapest place in Jersey City to get a beer. $4 for a 16oz draft?? Insane. You can’t find that price in other Grove St locations. I love the atmosphere. As a bar hopper, I feel like there’s a homey environment where you’ll meet a lot of locals. Their firefighter crowd can be pretty fun. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a bar that feels like home. And again, you can’t beat the prices. The fact that I can get the priciest cocktail on the menu for $12. Name another place you can say that about in Jersey City. Charles is awesome, ask for him at the bar

We needed a last minute indoor location the day of a birthday party due to weather, and Healy’s came through for us! They reserved a couple tables for us and gave us catering prices for a large food order. Great prices, service, and atmosphere! Wish we had discovered this place sooner.

Bartenders are sociable. Beer is cold. Food is surprisingly good. Havent been there for the night crowd but I always stop for a beer when doing laundry. No complaints whatsoever

Hadn't been there in 5 years the Reuben was exceptional it's so nice having the seating outside again a really nice atmosphere and friendly as always Renny the bartender was a sweetheart thank God I only live steps away and I'm moving back to Jersey City now so it's going to be fantastic my go-to place

Healy’s Tavern has now operated under new ownership for ~1 year and continues to be an excellent local bar. The bartenders are great, the food is great, and the owners keep making welcomed additions to the bar (dart bar, renovated outdoor space).

Kind staff, tasty food and a variety of beers available. Love myself a Yuengling and some buffalo chicken tenders! Older crowd here is so refreshing for a mature, easygoing vibe. I’m 33 and will be coming here more often to catch a sports game or enjoy my break as opposed to being ignored for 5 minutes at a time at the overpriced hipster abominations for bars further downtown!

Love this place - really wish they’d add a bar pizza or flatbread…that’s all that’s missing!!! That and Mich ie Bud on tap haha Pizza would be great with those good Buffalo wings! Atmosphere is great and you can’t beat the local neighborhood prices. Especially great-ALL are welcome and made to feel comfortable Great people Support this place

This is a low key bar and feels like the one in the show Cheers. A place where friendly neighbors gather round the bar to hang out and keep super chill. It wasn’t loud. They have so many different tv screens with different games going on. Next time I will order their food.

Perfect bar to hit right after a show at white eagle hall. Drinks and pub food is perfect!

Great local Irish bar. Friendly people. Reasonably priced drinks. They don't have Nutrl, but hopefully they'll get it soon.

Love Healy’s. Great food especially the wings and fresh cut fries, try the Teriyaki wings. Mmm. Fresh cut fries are incredible.

Awesome bar with lots of TVs. Met a bartender by the name of Nolan who was super nice on a Sunday evening and he was super friendly to my hubby and I. He even offered advise on some local places to go for dinner since we're new to the area. Highly recommend you check this place out.

Great location and great food. All of the employees are awesome and very knowledgeable. I really enjoy coming here to watch sports, I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time

Best bar food I've tasted I'm a so called sheff and Been to some of the best restaurants and bars. Their food is 5 stars for me as far bar food bars I've been. It's a cozy place with great service.

Friendly neighborhood tavern with a few tap beers and a nice pub menu. The cheesesteaks with sliced ribeye and hand cut fries were excellent. A great place to grab drinks and dinner before shows at White Eagle Hall.

Lunch date with my husband. A hidden gem we keep forgetting. Our hungry was satisfied. Food and drinks were very delicious, only place in the city so far to warn us about a fee for using a card but it was only $1, cheapest so far.

The best bar in Jersey City. Hands down. No contest. Don't come here for craft beers and fancy cocktails. Come here for the hometown vibe, nicest bartenders in North Jersey, and a solid food menu. Everything is good. You should have come to Healy's in the first place...

A phenomenal experience, great food & great service. An establishment that is reminiscent of the true classic Jersey City experience. Cannot recommend highly enough
