You don't really see standalone shops that sell hot dogs other than the hot dog carts in central park. So coming across this no frills type of place that serves hot dogs and more hot dogs was personally a satisfying find. The menu isn't big and prices increase incrementally in a matrix depending on the type of sausage you order and the number of toppings you put on. I got a hot dog with the home made chili onion sauce, because you can't get that from the hot dog man in central park. The staff working the counter was super friendly and whipped up the hot dog really quickly (hot dogs were already cooked and being kept warm as expected). The hot dog sausage itself wasn't giant or super long, I'd call it a pretty average looking sausage. The bun itself was also pretty normal looking and tasting too. It wasn't stale and had the texture of a pretty standard bun that you'd get from one of those packs of six at the grocery store. What really sold this place to me was the chili onion sauce. If you really want to take your hot dog game to the next level, you'll really need to pair the hotdog with this sauce. The hints of chili mixed with the slightly sweet flavor dressed up what was an ordinary hotdog to be the A-list Hollywood star of all hotdogs. It looks like you can buy this sauce to go too! I am tempted to come back later this week just to buy this sauce that I can put on top of ordinary hotdogs that I'll make at home. Give this place a try for a pick me up, it won't disappoint!

Grew up in Jersey City, always had hot dogs from Boulevard Drinks, we pick a couple of hotdogs l, buns and chili to bring back to the Carolinas. Great service, I like their hot dogs with extra chili and mustard. You can’t go wrong.

In Jersey City there is only one spot to grab hot dogs and that's Boulevard Drinks, they have been around since 1937. The fresh off the grill dogs and chilli are the best. I always bring visitors to have the "best dogs" in New Jersey. Easy walk up window with a few sits inside, cash is preferred but I do believe they take other payment options.

A little pricey, but the dogs don't disappoint. They are griddle fried and come with standard toppings; I went for chili-onion and chili and cheese, washed down with an orange drink. Three more dogs followed these (I didn't have any breakfast and I was hungry... Still, worth it). There's maybe three stools inside and a counter to stand at. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

These are the best hot dogs around. Absolutely delicious. I recommend the hot dog with sauerkraut; drizzle some mustard on there and you are set! A plain hot dog is $3. One topping is $3.25. The piña colada drink is good, too.

Amazing hot dogs!!! So glad I stopped in because of recommendations on Hot Dog Nation. Sweet onion/chili toppings are a must. Delicious.

The best hot dogs in Jersey City! I’ve been going to hot dog restaurant all my life. I love their chili and cheese. The hot dogs are little pricier but it’s worth every penny. I normally get two hot dogs at front but their so I sometimes ask for a third hot dog. The homemade drinks are good too. I always get the grape flavor and fruit punch is good too. My one complaint about this restaurant I wish it took debit/ Credit Card.

Fantastic place for hot dogs. Almost a hole-in-the-wall place, there is limited seating however the food is amazing value; it has a real world, no nonsense vibe with nice staff

The chili hot dog is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to people who are looking for something quick to eat. The prices are very reasonable.

Went here for the first time this week and have to say that they have the BEST hot dogs I have ever had. I am used to the Manhattan hot dog - basically a sausage on a roll with a line of mustard or ketchup down it. Here you have a range of toppings to choose from which makes a huge difference to the end result. I will be back:)

Been going here over 25 years, good dogs, drinks and prices ....NOW Greed has won them over and covID losses... Hotdogs now $3.00 ...NOT worth it to me, no wonder it was empty, used to be Packed all day..oh well
