I’m new to trying vegan food and so far this was my tastiest experience. I had the sloppy sandwich with V-beef. The sauce on it was teriyaki style, it was so delicious. I would honestly prefer that “meat” alone bc it was very difficult and sloppy trying to eat it as a sandwich. The sauce had drench the bottom bun. Fries and lemonade were delicious. I def recommend and would return. The owner was cool.

They had a good range of options on their menu and they were decently priced. Usually a lot of vegan spots are very pricey so it was a good change of pace to have a spot that served good food at good prices. I would suggest calling ahead for your order because it does take a few minutes but it really isn't a long wait.

I was looking for a vegan spot in the Jersey City area and came across this spot. They had quite a few options so I called in the beyond mac and cheese burger with fries. When I arrived I had to search for parking for a little because parking in this area is tough. When I finally parked and walked over I liked the decor of the restaurant, it was very eclectic. I was greeted by the lady behind the counter and I told her my name. My meal came to $14.93 for everything. When I got home I dug in. There were a lot of fries and the burger was very hefty, it was hard to finish. The fries weren't bad and the sandwich was pretty good. I liked how they layered the bun then mac then beyond meat then they filled it with lettuce, tomato and onions amd more mac. This meal was very filling and I will definitely be back to try more.

Fantastic new spot in town! The service is very, very friendly and impeccable, and the food menu is super unique and delicious. We had a wonderful time. The wife and I are going to have this place as a regular for date nights!

I mean, everything about this food (Brunch #2) was delish! Being a newbie in Jersey City, I didn’t really know much places to explore until this lazy morning I was struck by their unique name- VeganAF! I would highly recommend this place to any vegans out there. Their ingredients were fresh, the food was just so heavenly and extremely filling. Certainly coming back!

My family loved their food and it looked great! I wasn’t too fond of the nacho cheese, but it still was good. The restaurant was clean and the staff were nice.

This was my first time dining in & I must say super yummy food. I ordered the double stack burger with the homemade patty, empanada v-eef, & Blueberry smootie with banana and Mango in almond milk . Yum yum yum My non-Vegans friend rated it 7/10 for a meat eater. I'll definitely be back. 🙌🏾

This is a great convenient vegan restaurant in the heights. We did dine in around 6 when it didn't seem busy yet but by the time we left around 7 it was pretty packed with dine in but mostly takeout orders. There's a lot of options on the menu we got the bacon and cheese burger, veef loaded fries, and the mexican dog. All were amazing, the veef on the fries was sooo good and it looked like it was mostly made from vegetables which was surprising because it had a "meaty" texture I am definitely coming back here again to try out there other items.

I love taking beautiful photos but sometimes the food is so good, I take the quickest shot possible. So, here goes: food is impeccable, staff is very friendly, the environment is very mellow and GROOVY. But the parking is horrendous. So I suggest that you hit the side blocks if you can't locate a spot on the main Avenue.

The food wasn’t worth the price at all my partner order the brunch #1 it was just meat big pieces of potatoes spinach beans and bread No flavor at alllllll!!!! The tacos were dry! The smoothies tasted like nothing at all. Then they had a dog in the back like eww not worth ever going back. Oh we got the spinach and cheese empanadas it was air it was raw spinach with a sprinkle of cheese just awful. Didn’t wast my time taking pictures of this food it wasn’t worth it at all!

I absolutely love VeganAF. I found them a couple years ago when I was going to a church near by and went through I've moved about 45 minutes away, I still take the trip about once a week. I Love their Teriyaki à la carte and their tofu tacos. I have to venture out more but usually when I find items that I like I pretty much stick to them with the owners are amazing. A beautiful couple and I recommend it to anyone who is vegan and who isn't we vegan. Plus they are friendly to my daughter.

Easily one of the BEST VEGAN restaurants in Jersey City. Will be ordering from here from now on. Food is always DELICIOUS and FRESH. I almost can’t believe they are Vegan. Thank You. Keeps up the great work. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

I’ve been Plant-based for about 6 years & this is hands down the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. William is so friendly & personable the the experience was elevated just by his personality alone! There is a lot of love that goes in to the plant based food here & you can tell they really care about quality as well as their customers. I learned that their impossible patty isn’t just the standard impossible meat, they actually mix it with theirs own seasonings & ingredients to elevate the flavor & that definitely showed. I order the cheeseburger it comes with fries that are free! Special shout-out to the mac & cheese burger & buffalo drumsticks, they were stars on their own. Thanks so much William for your kindness & generosity. My partner & I will be back! Kayla+Milan

The food here is really good. I love the many vegan meat substitutes that they offer. The food is flavorful and they make an amazing sauce that pretty much tastes great with everything they make. If you want to indulge, this is a great place to do so. I would recommend for non-vegans as well because the food they make will not make you miss meat at all.

Made a stop on a Sunday morning on my way to Pennsylvania for a short vacation. Let me tell you, it was TOTALLY worth it!!!!! The wife and I walked in right after they opened (10am) and we were greeted immediately and pleasantly. Unsure of what to order (my wife got the tofu scramble with "bacon" and vegan cheese), I asked for a recommendation. The woman behind the counter recommended the Taylor "ham" and Just Egg wrap with vegan cheese, said it's very popular and now I know why. It was fantastic!!!!! Not a huge meal but perfect for a breakfast. I wish I lived closer, but it may be worth the trip on a quiet Sunday morning in the future..... We will be back. Thank you Vegan AF, your food is excellent!

This place was gooood! Its a challenge to find great cheese on a burger at times, but the burger at Vegan AF was poppin and filling to the point my friend and I shared! Definitely will be back to enjoy one of their signature drinks and another meal ;)

Didn’t have a lot of expectations at first because I am generally not a fan of vegan food but this was really delicious. All the dish names are visible on the boxes. The burger and quesadilla was really yummy. The nachos, not so much. The paintings are something unique so they add an eccentric touch to the place.

While they have some great vegan dishes, we were AMAZED by their coffee's! First, we got a dirty chai latte and it was so delicious! And then, in being very particular with my lattes, they were pleased to make it my way and still kindly give their recommendations! Best latte I’ve had in a long time, the espresso was so bold, rich, and flavorful! While I don’t live all that close to the shop, I will certainly be making the drive for those lattes! Very kind staff which made the experience all the better!

Service- they only offer take out but they were very helpful in explaining everything. Food - I've eaten other vegan food but for some reason everything seemed little dry. Taste was fine but I expected more for the price I was paying. I ordered soft and hard tacos (both tasted great). Classic burger was good too. Machos nachos were very dry I couldn't finish them. Burrito was good too. Overall food was good would try again!

Great food. Highly recommended. Our favorite so far has to be the spicy burrito. The tacos are also really good. The mac and cheese fell short a little on flavor. I will definitely be back.

First time here ! I enjoyed the loaded avocado tos-tone . Very filling and the smoothies were great, i had the strawberry banana. The prices were affordable too. I got two smoothies and the app and it came out to $20. Def would come back !!

Food was yummy... gets soggy very quickly. Service not so hot from the young man that worked there. The lady was pleasant. I guess I just expect more from a vegan restaurant. We traveled far and were waiting for an experience.

This place is absolutely underrated, although I have only tried the vegan beef teriyaki burrito, I highly recommend it. It is the best burrito I’ve personally ever had and the meat is very realistic. I always recommend coming here with my friends and coworkers and they all loved it. Although the price isn’t cheap but not unaffordable the quality and taste justifies it. Although I only went here twice so I don’t know too much about but that burrito smacked. This place can easily be overlooked because it’s such a small restaurant. Service was great and no problems!
