Best coffee shop in Jersey City! The owner and staff are so friendly and it’s clear they truly care about their drinks. Iced maple latte is my favorite and the ube babka they sell is also awesome. Great for dine in or take out.

Always a 5-star experience at this coffee shop! Evan, the owner, is truly amazing, and his warm personality makes you feel like family. He values his customers, and it's evident in the way he runs the shop. The entire team is equally fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The brioche French toast is hands down the best I've ever had! The cute decor adds to the overall charm of the place. It took a minute for the food although they did let us know when we ordered. Their take on avocado toast was interesting - I felt like it was missing something , maybe lemon and salt. The oat milk lavender latte was awesome . Everyone who worked there was very kind and friendly

I met someone for a business meeting. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious 😋 the cashier recommended the French Toast Latte 😋 which was tasty. I also had the Loaded Avocado 🥑 Toast w/bacon 🥓 it was heaven in my mouth 😋 😍 The staff was friendly and accommodating. I recommend that you stop by.

You can taste the love from this place in every bite. The coffee is phenomenal and the avocado toast is unique and delicious. They also have a great changing range of pastries that are made in house. You won’t regret coming here.

Amazing breakfast food with warm and caring staff. I can’t wait to come back here again and try more options from their menu. Their avocado toast was really yummy and the flavors were very well balanced where they avocado was still the star of the dish. Their crema was thick and not overly sweetened. The BEC sandwich was very tasty. Eggs are sometimes hard to get right for sandwiches but they did really well. There are also many coffee options to satisfy every palate.

This is the best coffee and breakfast spot in jersey city. I go there every week with my girlfriend and my dog. The owner Evan is always there talking to everyone and make they feel at home. You can see all of his hardworking and passion in that place. Highly recommend and love this spot!

Such a lovely place! Gives me a vibe of a small European-style coffee shop. Great coffee and excellent restaurant-level food. I tried an avocado toast and acai bowl. Very nice! It's a good place to sit and study or just to enjoy a cup of coffee. Also, the stuff is super friendly. I definitely recommend!

Amazing cafe. First, super cool decor and great music selection (not too loud). Most importantly, the food was SO good. I ordered a chocolate croissant and it was fresh, which is hard to find these days. The cappuccino (with whole milk) was smooth and wasn’t bitter, so I know the coffee used is good quality. The best part was the avocado toast was out of this world as it has both, sweet and spicy flavors. I added an egg and a bacon! Wow. Bonus, everyone was soo nice!

Second time coming here - first time I got avocado toast with bacon and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. This time I got their Belgian BEC and it was AMAZING too. Also some of the best coffee I’ve ever had (cold brew 1st time, 3 shot flat white this time) Can’t wait to come back - owner and staff are all very friendly!

First off, anyone reviewing this place less than 5 stars probably just can't be pleased. This little oasis tucked away just far enough from the city hustle and bustle is exactly where you need to start your morning. I went in for a coffee and ended up trying the avocado toast. The ambiance was comfortable with some hints of international café vibes blended in. Everyone working there was engaging and helpful. The coffee and toast were something you'd find at a high end boutique restaurant but with a much more reasonable price tag. Thanks so much for the great kickstart to my morning!

I’ve tried their coffee, oat latte, cappuccino, matcha, and turmeric latte, and they were excellent. I’m probably going to go down the list and just try all the drinks here. The staff was friendly too! But the wait times can be very very long.

Great coffee! Best avocado toast in town. The bacon egg and cheese Belgian waffle sandwich is my number one go-to. It's a "must-try"! The service is great and the owner is always there to greet you with a smile. Please show them some love and give them a try. You won't regret it.

Another small solid coffee spot in Jersey City neighborhood. Staff is friendly. I only ordered a simple toast with bacon on top, which was yum and buttery. My latte was good as well.

I am OBSESSED with Hybrid and anyone comes to visit, my husband and I immediately take them here. We legitimately get sad on Sunday when Hybrid is closed. The coffee is phenomenal, the flavors are phenomenal and the food is also phenomenal. The staff is so friendly, and the owner/manager is so attentive and kind. I have a speech disability that makes it hard to talk at times and he went above and beyond to help me order and make me feel comfortable. Just another reason to love Hybrid! A must try!! ❤️

I live in Manhattan and basically never come to JC but found myself in the area randomly one morning and stumbled upon this cafe. We were blown away by the food/coffee, the ambiance, and the warm and welcoming nature of the owner and his family who runs the cafe alongside him. We loved it and will now be making trips to JC just to come here in the future! We got the acai bowl and the avocado toast which were both amazing.

The oat milk latte is flawless, so enjoyable. Same comments go to the avocado toast which I have ordered twice, except for a small suggestion, that while I’m so impressed by the generous amount of avocado paste, they are really rich to a point that I have to take breaks or look for water hahaha. I can taste the chill sauce which helps but do hope the flavor of avocado paste can slide more into refreshing side. Maybe it’s just my personal preference, and it’s an awesome dish indeed!! Nice place, good vibes, nice staff. Requested for a mix of iced turmeric and matcha latte. They gave it and the mixture tasted nice. Also had chai latte and loaded avacado toast with egg. The loaded toast was good but very expensive. Was charged extra for the egg and the total came to $15 for just one loaded toast.

Food and drinks are amazing! We had the waffle and the avocado toast and both were perfect. Staff is super friendly, there is outdoor seating available and a dog bowl so our pup was happy too! Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I have had two really good experiences at Hybrid since it reopened downtown a few weeks ago. The food is delicious. I especially liked the Belgium waffle, bacon, egg, and cheese, but everything we’ve had so far has been fantastic. There is enough room out front for outdoor eating or just relaxing and having a coffee. Everyone working there is welcoming and nice. Also, had a great conversation with the owner Evan. Awesome addition to downtown JC!

Few thoughts: - The owner has deeply considered everything on the menu, coffee and food. I've tried multiple entrees and drinks, and each have been delicious and made with high quality ingredients. No throwaways for the sake of bulking up the menu. - The owner himself (as well as the employees) is an absolute gem who genuinely cares about people and the neighborhood. - The place is beautifully decorated and has an interesting color scheme (a bright, nearly highlighter yellow), but they've made it work well. - The outdoor seating area is quite nice, particularly since it's shaded by tall trees.

Awesome food. Really delicious and the owner knows exactly what he is doing. We will come back again, for sure.

This is probably one of my favorite places I've been. The coffee is good, the food is incredible, and the staff is so nice. When I went it was really busy and I had to wait but it was so nice out and I got a donut for the wait. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best cafe I have been to recently in the area. Food and coffee is exceptional. Great interior and atmosphere for a casual time for hangout, study or a chill time. Staff is very friendly and do the best at serving the customers. All the menu items are prepared as per the order. Will definitely come here again. Special mention to interior designer of the shop who has done thinking out side the box a true justice by giving a great interior design to the shop.

Pleasant place in the neighborhood for a coffee and some snacks. The coffee is excellent. They were brewing new batch when I came, so I got the freshest drink! Service is nice and friendly. One star discounted as I ordered one regular coffee and one mocha, they charged me for this. But when I got home I found out that they brewed for me two regular coffees. Guys, you should be more attentive to the orders. You have a nice place! Please keep this impression ☺️

Cozy, felling like at home coffee and kitchen shop. Welcoming and easy going staff. Coffee is great, also the pastry selection is delicious and has some season favorites.

Love this place! Service is so good and the owners/workers are so friendly! The one downside is that despite being really new to the neighborhood this place isn’t accessible to people in wheelchairs or other mobility issues. It would have been cool to see them smooth out the step and have it be a ramp instead so that everyone can access the cafe.
