We just finished a 3 day/2night Chisapani Nagarkot trek with Dinesh as our guide. It’s was amazing from start to finish. Great hiking, amazing views, excellent accommodations and beautiful Nepalese along the way. Dinesh was a great guide. He looked after us from start to finish. He is a wealth of information on the mountains, Nepalese culture and traditions. He really made the trip extra special. Not only is he a great hiking guide but he is a really genuine, good person. The organisation and communication prior to the trek was spot on. We dealt with Babu via e-mail. He was quick to reply and provided us with all the information we required. A pleasure to deal with. When we return to Nepal we will definitely book this company to do a longer trek and will request Dinesh as our guide. Thank you Dinesh and Babu for making our trip so memorable. We chose to go with the company for EBC, Chola Pass trek in 2017 after doing some research and the reviews by other users. Disclaimer : our research was done poorly, we should have demanded first aid accredited guides with a first aid kit. Little did we know and we went prepared with antibiotics and all things necessary to treat the Kumbhu cough and altitude sickness. They were really nice at the start. Until one of us got pretty sick. The guides would just push you to keep going even when there are clear signs you shouldn't. Things got a lot more unfriendly when one of us had to be flown down due to common health issues faced by many during the trek (pneumonia) The owner dealt with the ordeal poorly by being rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend if you want a safe trip up and DOWN. Response to owner's comment: Thank you for you comment and lying about not having us trek with you.

The ABC trek was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life thanks to the team at Great Adventure Himalaya. Our guide Dinesh is kind, hardworking and has very in-depth knowledge of the mountains. I felt very safe and glad having him there. Our porter Rajesh was helpful and polite and made a great team member. Babu is professional, very knowledgeable and was always happy to help with our questions, helping to organise our flights and even organised airport drop off for us. Will definitely book again in the future for another trek!

This is my 2nd adventure to the Himalaya’s of Nepal hosted by Babu & his team, both times they provided an outstanding level of service, anything you need they try there best to provide, I extended my plans last min and Babu was able to accommod .changes & permits needed. I had the pleasure of spending the trek in the company of guide & porter gokul & kumar who have much knowledge of Nepal and the surrounding mountains you will be seeing through out the treks. Tsum valley was amazing, rural, cultural, warm & welcoming Tibetan tea houses to accommodate in each village.

Highly recommend! Did a 7 days Annapurna Base Camp trek back in October 2022. Babu was very patient and accommodating with our questions and concerns regarding the trip. One of us got COVID and had to reschedule last minute, and he helped us with the changes of plans. The trek itself was fantastic; wonderful views, food, lodges and the porters were arranged to make the trip easier. And this is probably one of the most affordable tours out there. I am the most grateful to our guide, Tek, who had years of leading treks under his belt. He was very kind and is very respectful of each of our every needs & capacities. Some of us weren't that experienced in hiking and couldn't keep up the pace that we were supposed to maintain to make the trek in time, but he was very understanding & would encourage us to keep going in a way that didn't make us feel bad. He was really fluent in English, knowledgeable in Nepali culture & would share stories about the Himalayas, made the otherwise physically taxing trek much more bearable & memorable. We had a great time trekking to ABC. Shankar our guide spoke very good English which made everything from questions about the culture, the mountains food or lodging very easy. He set a steady and good pace for us. In the evening we got a briefing on the next day from him, which made it easier to prepare for. The landscape ist beautiful. But be prepared for occasional rain as well as hot and cold weather. We had a 6 day itinerary in early September.

Me and 17 Malaysian just completed 5 days Mardi Himal Trek and it was an incredible experience. The guides were not only knowledgeable about the terrain but also very attentive to the needs of the group. The accommodation and the overall service provided was top notch. Communication with Babu was always fast, clear and efficient. He was able to customize a trek in the Langtang valley to fit our group's (8 ppl) schedule. As a former porter and guide the depth of his knowledge was invaluable in the planning process. We were immensely satisfied with the professionalism, kindness and good natured spirit of the guide, Dinesh. Furthermore, Babu was able to help with a variety of other tasks in Kathmandu such as extending hotel bookings or arranging busses. My husband and I had a private trekking tour to Mardi Himal in Oct2023. We had a great time from start to finish. I first contacted Babu (owner of the company), he replied personally and promptly to all questions that I had. He gave honest opinion and not trying to sell his tours. Our guide was Krishna, very knowledgeable, genuine, kind, polite, and helpful. He took great care of us since day1 where we met in KTM, we asked him where we could buy trekking poles, jackets, etc he happily showed us around. He delivered great service and is always happy and positive. After the tour ends, he even checked on us to make sure we returned to town safely. Our porter was Rassem, a strong young man. He was always caring and making sure we were ok. He was there to help us with everything we needed, always smiling. Right before we reached the viewpoint I could not move any further, Rassem even helped carry me. Krishna and Rassem worked together so well. We are both beginners. This was our 1st trek. We had an amazing time trekking. Mardi was so beautiful and we had such a good team. In the end we became friends and hope to stay in touch. We plan to visit again in the near future. We will definitely use your service again! We found that the itinerary and the service we received far exceeded the price we paid. Highly recommend!

Although we experienced some health-related difficulties, we had an amazing experience on the Pikey Peak trekking - Narayan took great care of us! We are looking forward to our next experience in Nepal!

My girlfriend and I did the 6 day ABC trek with our guide Dinesh and Porter Rajesh. I found Babu to be very responsive, professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Dinesh is a fantastic guide, hard working, personable, knowledgeable, professional and accommodates your needs well. We found him to be an excellent guide. Rajesh our porter is polite and kind and was great addition to our trek. Unfortunately on day 4 my partner got severe altitude sickness and we required a rescue helicopter. Dinesh, Babu and Rajesh were so good - they organised everything , kept us safe , reassured and got us off the mountain safely. We are very grateful. The Owner of the Company, Babu was great in communication and sending us info. This was our first trip in Nepal but Babu was very clear in his details. Our Guide Krishna was awesome. While trekking for all 3 weeks, he was very helpful and always did the best with us in his mind. He has tremendous Knowledge of the Kumbu Valley and Solukhumbu District. His attention to every detail on the mountain and Passes was great. I will go with Adventure Great Himalaya Treks & Expedition and with ask for Krishna as a guide when I do it next time.

We are repeat(3rd) client with Babu. As usual the service and communication was excellent. Our usual guide Janak did a perfect job guiding the group to EBC and back. Fortunately Babu was able to book us to fly back to Kathmandu rather than Ramechhap. Will come back again!!!

The whole experience was great, babu and his team did a great job to make sure things were well organized. although there were changes from time to time because of the weather condition and flight status, they manage very well for the total experience. my porter-guide Rams was really responsible and always taking care of me throughout the trek. Did the Everest Base camp trek with the company and I am super happy about the hole experience. Very reliable, as we actually booked this trek before the pandemic and had to postpone for 2 years. Been in communication all the way and when we finally got to do the trek, the company really delivered. Perfect service was given as soon we landed in Kathmandu. Our guide Santosh meet us at the airport and brought us to the hotel. We had a nice meeting the owner Babu before heading of to the trek and was given all the information we needed. Both in Kathmandu and during the hike, they took care of everything and I feel we got a lot for a very reasonable price. Hotels, meals, guide, porters and everything arranged, made the demanding hike up to EBC a lot easier. Our guide Santosh spoke good English and we had a great time together during the trek. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the mountains, the culture and the religion. He arranged everything during the trek and was super helpful with all things. It was especially helpful to have a guide with he's knowledge in times when you didn't feel to good or where effected by the high altitude in other ways. I've done Poon Hill - Muktinath Trek with Adventure Great Himalaya in 2011 with a group, and I have return for EBC+Gokyo trek in 2012 alone with Adventure Great Himalaya. They have great team that manage everything for me that make my trip so much easier and relax. I even recommended Adventure Great Himalaya to my friends, and they are very satisfy with Adventure Great Himalaya service, and plan to return to Nepal again.
