The rooms and kitchen were clean and two bed rooms are useful for the family, but they were small and dark. The pool was small and patio was not comfortable because of insects and noise. This hotel doesn't provide breakfast and lunch. We have to go outside and wait in a line. I chose this hotel because I expected some delicacy for the guest service but there were not. The staff making Mohito in poolside didn't look hygienic and the other staff on lobby didn't provide detailed information about hotel services. Definitely it was not worth the price.

Book this hotel now. If there is a bad review on in here it's because there is another hotel with a similar name that's not good. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Matilda greets you and you instantly know you're at the best key west spot. Totally modern and so clean you could eat off the floor. All have beautiful kitchens and 2 bedrooms. Pool area is perfect. Towels that fit the chairs! From the outdoor furniture and privacy of each unit to the nightly door delivery of muffins and ice cream bars...this place ROCKS. Don't stay anywhere else.

The place is beautiful. Great ambiance, and nice staff. BUT… Beds are extremely small. Not only that but the couch was infested with bed bugs, so I am now covered head to toe with bites. Extremely disgusting & disturbing. The free beach they offer is a block over from hotel & sits in front of a restaurant so no relaxation will be involved fyi. Completely uncomfortable most of the time as people watch you. Good luck…

This place was excellent. They staff and service was beyond our expectations. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location was great as well. They had beautiful gardens with flowers and orchids everywhere and palm trees. There are two saltwater pools and an outside bar. This place was very well kept and had beautiful surroundings. My kids enjoyed seeing all the lizards and iguanas and butterflies throughout the resort. They also have an excellent turndown service and house keeping. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you all for an exceptional time in Key West😘

These suites are outstanding! Clean and modern, spacious and comfortable. We had a pool facing 2nd floor suite with balcony. We sat on the balcony for hours everyday. The pool area is relaxing, with a tropical island landscape, plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and fun music playing as you relax in the Key West sun. Poolside frozen drinks and waters are free, and you can charge alcoholic drinks to your room account. There's a free happy hour that we didn't experience, but staff were enthusiastic about making sure everyone knew. Turndown service at 6pm includes muffins and tiny ice cream bars. The staff is friendly as can be, from the reception, to pool-side staff, and the grounds keepers and house keepers. This is a modern hotel. AC works amazing, which we needed after hot days exploring the island. There's a ton of plugs everywhere in these rooms: no need to fight for space to charge your devices. There's a convenience store and restaurant across the street, and places that have evening live music outdoors. The restaurant attached to this hotel was actually the best dining we experienced on the island. Pricey, but 100% with it. The beach is about 1 block away, and so location is ideal to be steps away from the fun, but just outside the heavy crowded path. Somehow the last 2 days, housekeeping didn't come while we were out, but we called down to the desk and asked for refills on the coffee pods, creamers and towels, and they brought them right up.

we did extensive research before booking in key west, family of 4 w/ 2 young kids. this is the place to go. the location is fantastic you are 2 blocks from S-most point and duval if you want to do that. room was spotless with large well appointed kitchen. service was awesome. beautiful, clean, quiet pool right outside your room w/ bar service. front desk staff are friendly and helpful. there have been a few reviews posted here about lack of cleanliness - i have no idea what they are talking about you could eat off our floor or the pool deck. bonus info: there's an e-cart rental place across the street that has been great, we rented for the week and they have just let us park the cart there overnight for free. only negatives i would say are small pool (but everything in KW is small) and if you are really trying to be in the party action (we aren't) it's a bit far south for that would be my guess.

Very modern suites. 2 bedroom suites with own bathroom upstairs. Fully stocked kitchen with a wine cooler. Very comfortable seating and balcony. Everything look new or very recently updated. Roomy comfortable space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The only bummer is the beach this hotel has access to is smelly and unpleasant. Nothing at the hotel’s fault though. It’s the seaweed gathered from the Atlantic this time of year

My family and I had an amazing stay at Santa Maria. It was our first time in Key West and we hope to be back soon. We loved the layout of the suites (we stayed in a bi-level one), the view from the multiple balconies, and the amount of amenities included. The kitchen had all the essentials and the complimentary water, muffins, and ice cream bars were a nice add on. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and resourceful. The location is also in a great spot - close to the beach and local shops.

We booked a 2 bedrooms apartment, we were given the number 18 which is along the street. I asked for a quieter room and they gave us the number 20 which was perfect. We loved the muffins, the furnished kitchen, the decoration, the mattress. If there is just one thing to improve I would say that the music at the pool is not needed. Otherwise I will advise it to anyone

Our stay was a condo separately owned within the resort, but not directly affiliated with them. We’ve loved staying here! The staff keep the grounds very well manicured and the pool is in great shape. Easy access to Duval street with good parking options (one space in the lot, free street parking nearby). I can’t speak to the lobby or resort staff, but everything has been great.

Wow! This hotel is awesome. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. We loved every bit! I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a comfortable hotel to stay in. Although the prices were high, you could see your money paying off. Look no further if you are trying to find the right hotel. This is it!

Santa Maria suites resort was a great place to stay. From checkin to checkout, everything was smooth, easy, and helpful. Our suite was clean and comfortable, the pool area was excellent, the turn down service was top notch. It was in a great location, very walkable to restaurants, bars, museums, and the beach. Would love to visit here again!

wonderful experience all around at the Santa Maria. Great location, extremely clean and comfortable, staff was great and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. From fresh muffins, chocolates, water, to storing your bags before and after check in/out- they pull out all the stops to make your vacation great! Will definitely be back!

We had the most amazing stay at the Santa Maria Suites Resort and would definitely stay there again. The room was absolutely beautiful and the staff were delightful and couldn't be more helpful. The location was excellent and the pool was great too! If you are visiting Key West, this is the best place to stay!

Amazing service. Great concierge. The pool experience is fun and relaxing. Complementary water, fruit and slushes at the pool bar. Very clean. Comfortable beds, pillows and rooms. Very nice kitchen! Turn down service is phenomenal and really special.

Book this place now. It's a small property with excellent features: the pool, pool bar, trees and atmosphere, great parking, and a staff that goes above and beyond. The suites are comfortable and loaded with everything you'll need. They feel private with the pool steps away. It's close to Duvall Street but far enough away to be relaxing. There's a deli/convenience store and liquor store across the street. I'll definitely be returning. The picture is from our balcony.

Absolutely hands down the most relaxing spot in Key West. We’ve stayed in several “luxury” spots near the “action” but nothing compares to this hidden gem. Such a personal spot, privacy, relaxing and beautiful. Every detail is thought of- turn down, muffins, waters, etc. Pool bartender is absolutely amazing, she’s the best! We found an amazing Italian restaurant 2 blocks down, the tipsy rooster across the street is phenomenal as well as the Cuban grocery store with supplies and incredible food. We will 100% be back. Super impressed !

We could not have been more satisfied except if we found this place sooner! Traveling as a family with young adults creates a unique situation, and these units allowed us to spread out comfortably AND have enough beds while still being together. The grounds surrounding the pool/courtyard are stunning. Individual units are impeccably kept. The extra pool & night turndown services were a delightful surprise! We will be back and will recommend it to our extended family. Great location for walking the town sites. Bravo to the staff Dina and Nino were lovely to chat with.

Great hotel. Full relaxation and awesome air conditioning in the Villas. Fully equipped and really good cleaning services. Pool area is cozy and sun protected. Free slush drinks for the kids and towel service. Walking distance to the southernmost point of the USA.

Beautifully decorated suites. It's very quiet like community that is in walking distance from many restaurants, bars & the beach. All employees had amazing customer service & I absolutely loved the garden view. They even have a complementary bar during happy hour. If youre considering Booking a room here you will not be disappointed!

From the time we got there and met Matilda at the front we knew we were going to have a good experience. She is so lovely! The bartender by the pool gives good vibes and is so much fun! The room is beautiful and the hotel is in the perfect location.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at this place. Room was spotless and our family of 4 had plenty of space to spread out. Service was top notch!! I’m talking Disney-like service:…this place is worth EVERY PENNY!! Matilda was incredibly helpful - helped us book a sunset cruise with snorkeling and kayaking. Hotel location is superb. A quick walk to Duval Street for all the action, but the hotel is nice and quiet - so peaceful. The pool area, bartenders, etc. we’re amazing- such a fun and relaxing time. We are on the way home and are already planning our next stay at Santa Maria Suites!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place in Key West!

Stayed in 2 villa suites with 2.5 bathrooms. Rooms upstairs, each with their own bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with bar seating. Living area with adequate seating and a patio. Television in each bedroom and living area. Also had a washer and dryer. Laundry detergent provided. Keurig coffee maker with coffee, creamer, and sugar provided. Amenities include pool and workout room, but we were too busy with outside activities. Muffins and dove ice cream bars provided in the evenings.. They also had a happy hour at the pool daily. Onsite parking is available, but I did not use it. We used the Duval Bus Loop at no cost. Stops nearby. The staff, especially Matilda, were amazing and very helpful in scheduling outside activities and provided cost savings on excursions. Please use your housekeeping sign, so they are aware you're in the suite. Wonderful experience. Santa Maria felt more like a condo experience with some hotel amenities. Restaurants are close by for meals.
