We stayed at this awesome property very centrally located on a quiet soi 16, with lots of very nice restaurants and convenient stores. This property was for us home away from home. The staff here is very courteous all the way from bell boys, front desk, housekeeping etc…We would certainly recommend this place for anyone looking for a short or a long stay in Bangkok.

I have traveled to more than 50 countries and have not found anything worse than this hotel. They asked me for two thousand insurance value only because they knew that I had paid in advance. The bathroom does not have a lock, the kitchen sink does not drain the water, the service is really bad and it is not worth paying 10 baht for it, just run away

Thank you Jannie, Atip, Kik, Punch for a lovely two months aty at the Shama Asoke. Both me and my husband, Balljeet Singh Grewal had a lovely time at your serviced suite. The view from the terrace was fabulous and it felt like home. Your entire staff, may of whose names I cannot recollect at the moment made it so much easier and smoother for us to stay in a foreign land especially in the covid times. A big shout out to management and GM from the two of us for such fabulous and fantastic service. We look forward to staying with you soon again, in the land of smiles. Thank you. Thank you.Thankyou.

Very good hotel for family and very helpful staffs! I have been here many times and always want to come back again. I’m pleasant with everything the hotel provided me. The room was so big and clean. The staffs are so friendly, helpful and always ready to support you when anything has gone wrong. There is also a 24/7 gym and a swimming pool. Plus, there is lawson, which is a convenient store, in the hotel. Highly recommended for a family to stay here!

It is a cozy service apartment suitable for the long-term stay. A hotel facilitated almost everything we need, kitchenette、laundromat. Our room is the 3 rooms with nice view balcony enjoying the fleshing lake view, 120 square feet. All the staff here is supportive, especially the IT department, the IT manager even change the TV for us to satisfy our TV watching! I The management might influenced by the policy of Japanese “JR KYUSHU GROUP”. Thanks! ขอบคุณมากนะคะ🙏

This hotel’s facility is a bit old and outdated and doesn’t look like their pictures. It’s located 13 mins from the BTS so a pretty long walk. The staff were friendly and helpful but that’s about it. The most problem we have is the AC, one of the AC duct is located right in front of the bed and it blast AC onto our head the whole night which caused us to get sick for 2 days now with congested nose and sore throat (hence not COVID cause we tested). Also the room was not very clean, there were stains on our headboard still. The cleaning protocol is def questionable. It’s a blow to our vacation and brought down our energy level, it’s a shame that the stay there wasn’t pleasant at all probably the worse experience we had with all our stays in Thailand

The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are very friendly and supportive. Overall, everything here is perfect for me. It is also close to the train station and you can use the shuttle service from the hotel to the train station for free!

An amazing hotel in a good location. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the room was. They also can to clean the room everyday and gave us water and towels. The food at the hotel restaurant was the best- great value for money! I enjoyed the pool area, spacious gym, yoga room and ping pong table. There are many good restaurants in the area, as well some supermarkets and the lake with a park is across the street! I went there for walks and it was so calming.

This place is mainly for families who would like to have a space with kitchen facility. It was a good choice for us as we were a big family with 4 kids in total to enjoy the space together. My observations are: - I stayed in tower B which the corridor was smelly. - Very difficult to talk to the staff and explain things, their English is basic. - 10 mins walk to terminal 21 mall, but the good thing is they provide free shuttle service by a golf car to an area close to Asoke station, and sometimes is full. - Everyday I have to remind them regarding cleaning the room to ensure to get the service plus provide 3 towels not 2 as we were 2 adults and a kid. - Free WiFi but not good in my apartment, tower B. - One night the tissue box was finished when I came back they left the box empty, they even didn’t replace it until I request! - There are a grocery store attached to the lobby and open 24 hours. - The coffee club cafe is located in the lobby. - 3 massage places opposite the hotel, which is convenient to massage before going to bed.

I accidentally need a place to sleep for a night as i forgot home key at my office🤣. I was very impressed with this hotel serviced apartment. I stayed in the studio room with large space, fully furnished and equipped room. This hotel apartment is modern design and good for family. The price is good not that expensive like hotel in Nana area.

The hotel and serviced apartments are very well run and located near the MRT, BTS and Benjakitti Park. Rooms are excellently serviced by friendly staff. Suits long-term stayers in particular. The only downside is the invasion of Middle Eastern families each year (June, July, August) who allow their children to run wild throughout the hotel and scream at the top of their lungs in the pool area until midnight. Every. Single. Day. Forget about an early night's sleep if you are in one of the (more expensive) rooms facing the pool! Otherwise, the majority of residents and guests are very quiet and respectful.

Room: Tower A is better than B. Tower B rooms quite run down Service: Actually quite helpful and cheerful Location: A good 15 min to BTS, not enjoyable but not that bad. Gym: is good size but machines are old not not very well kept. Value for money I'd give it a 2.5 to 3 out of 5 stars.

We stayed for a week during an official trip. Was put up in a studio room in tower B on 21st floor. The view was great. The room service was slow though. However the cleaning services were spot on. The hotel has a decent gym and a cosy playroom for kids which my 3 year old son enjoyed a lot. There is a 24*7 convenience store of Lawson's in the hotel which is helpful. The hotel has 2 restaurants to choose from which have a standard Thai and American cuisine for its customers

Convenience, location, a spectrum of accommodations (to meet most budgets), and a great staff make this place a very good choice. Beautiful rooms (at the higher end) a great gym/pool area, 2 good restaurants and a very useful Lawson convenience store all combine to make this Shama one of the best places in town. Pet friendly too!

The staff were very strict and they were not very nice. Specially, with kids. The kids club locked everything especially a supervisor it contains only broken big toys and on their website they said all kids out of work come under seven years old. They charge me for each blanket. They charge me for the bed and all my kids were under 10 years old.

Excellent hotel. Loved the gym, pool, and spa amenities. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. Truly the best. Special shout out to Mossy for her sweet vibes and Don for helping me with everything. Some rooms do face the street with traffic noise so if you want a quieter room dont be afraid to ask. My upgraded room was fabulous and I extended another night! The location is not near the main sights but it’s still easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

Shama Lakeview Asoke is a hidden oasis in the bustling city of Bangkok. We were impressed by the level of service and hospitality provided by the staff. They took care of our every need and provided valuable local tips for exploring the city. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and offered stunning views of the lake. The hotel's location is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. We appreciated the peaceful ambiance around the pool area after a long day of sightseeing. We can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel on our next trip to Bangkok!" We loved the peaceful ambiance and beautiful city views from our room. Without a doubt, this hotel stands out as one of the best places we've stayed in Bangkok. Highly recommended!"

An amazing Hotel at the busy centre. The Hotel rooms are outstanding and very well maintained. The amenities offered is exceptional as well. The rooms are large with king bed. I had a room on the 27th floor and the view of city and the lake. At night it looked spectacular with city lights. There is an in room kitchen area, wash area , fridge, bathtub, shower, sofa, wardrobe, TV unit, umbrella, iron, shoe rack, safe, dining table, kitchen sets etc.. & ofcourse free WiFi The staff is very polite and helpful. Ms. Carrot at reception was very helpful, she allowed me to check-in early. The room service was very nice. Asok (BTS) and Sukhumvit (blue line) are the closest railway stations with 15 min walk. Food is very tasty. It has a cafe near lobby area, and couple of 7 eleven grocery stores are stone throw away. There are Indian restaurants nearby as well. I will definitely visit here again! Thank you

I recently had a highly disappointing experience during my stay at Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok, and I feel compelled to share my negative review for potential future guests. There were three major issues that marred my experience at this establishment: 1. **Lack of Communication Regarding Extension:** One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay at Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok was the complete lack of communication regarding extending my stay. As a long-term guest, I expected that the hotel would approach me in a timely manner to inquire about my interest in extending my reservation for another month. To my shock and dismay, I was informed that my room had been given away without any prior consultation. This abrupt eviction left me feeling disrespected and unvalued as a customer. 2. **Delayed Deposit Return:** Another glaring issue I encountered was the delay in returning my deposit upon checking out. Typically, hotels are expected to refund the deposit on the date of check-out, provided there are no damages or additional charges to be assessed. However, Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok informed me that my deposit would be returned after one month. This lack of transparency and untimely refund process left me feeling financially inconvenienced and concerned about the hotel's integrity. 3. **Unsanitary Dining Utensils:** Perhaps one of the most disturbing aspects of my stay was the consistently unsatisfactory condition of the plates and cutlery provided by the hotel. These dining utensils were frequently dirty and stained, with marks that suggested a complete disregard for proper hygiene standards. Such conditions are not only unappetizing but also pose a serious health risk to guests who rely on these items for their meals. It was clear that the hotel's housekeeping and kitchen staff were neglecting their responsibilities in maintaining basic cleanliness and sanitation. In conclusion, my experience at Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok was marred by a series of disappointments that made me question the hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction and overall standards of service. From their mishandling of long-term guests to their delayed deposit refund policy and unacceptable hygiene standards in the dining area, I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay at this establishment. My experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I would advise seeking accommodations elsewhere for a more pleasant and stress-free stay.

Location is great with less crowd and everything of importance nearby. The staff is great. We were assisted by the most cheerful front office staff Mink, Mild and lily. They were always very helpful and extended our checkout times. The 2 bedroom apartment curtains were not great and it was difficult to sleep as it get very bright in the room during early morning.

We were a family of 8, and we just arrived from the airport after a very long trip. We had a reservation, when we arrived at the hotel we faced aggressive behavior coming with the staff of the hotel. They kept on delaying our check in timings, and had the worst attitude. We believe that a hotel rated this highly, and we did not expect such cheap behavior coming from a manager. However, after a while a nice lady called June helped us out and apologized on her behalf. I will not be staying here again, and I’m writing this review to warn those who are considering this hotel.

Had the most wonderful experience at the Hotel. From the second we arrived we were thoroughly impressed with the hospitality, cleanliness, and romantic ambiance. Koy and Mink provided a lovely experience and made sure our birthday celebration was extraordinary! We cannot thank them enough and look forward to visiting again soon

In our relocation journey to Thailand, we stayed there for one full month, with our cat. Overall good experience with a special attention for our daughter birthday. Just a pity we had been charged 8000 baths, due to the cat presence, for cleaning the apartment, non refundable, whereas it was in a perfect shape when we left it… some crew members are less customer centric than the others, but let’s admit it is the case everywhere…

My flight was early and I was just thinking to drop ff our bags and leaves some places until check in time. However the staff at the reception was very kind enough for us to do an early check in. It’s a very good start of a trip for me and just made our Bangkok stay starting with a nice experience. I would especially like to thank staff, Bim, Carrot and Chom, for making it happen. Looks like they have some events also planning for people staying here to be able to join. So very nice and cozy place to stay!

This place is very welcoming and they keep the hotels clean. The front desk lady , carrot , gave us an upgrade from regular room to suite with kitchen and hall. She even help to talk to a restaurant and booked a reservation upon requesting . Mind , kay and others were very helpful as well. One thing that bothered us was the bed was hard and bothered a bit while sleeping.

Lovely clean hotel that is close to lots of bars and restaurants. We found the rooms big and clean and guest services reliable. The breakfast buffet was apparently pretty average, so we decided to go to the a la carte coffee place in the hotel which was solid. Overall a pleasant experience

I spent 3 months at this fine establishment and can say that I had the most fantastic time. The staff were some of the loveliest and most gracious people I have ever met. They were always available and ready to assist with any issues I may have had and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for their friendship and kindness over that period. I was never dissatisfied with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Bangkok or any other locations where the Shama exists. Khun Paul became a very close friend of mine and I will cherish his friendship forever. He is a great example of why this company will continue to flourish in the future as he has proven to be one of the most hardworking, smart, gentle and warm people to grace our presence. Well done Shama Lakeview Asoke and well done Khun Paul. Thank you all. 10/10

This place was absolutely amazing! However as wonderful as the hotel was the service was even more amazing. The staff always greeted me by name and they taught me a few Thai phrases to use as I walked around the area. The cleaning staff was hard working, kind and courtesy. On my last day the manager gave me a bottle of wine. He was awesome. I will definitely return. Please tell Carrot and the tall young lady I said, "Hello!"

Revised down from a previous review. Room not ready at 530 pm. Funny I heard them take 1500 baht from another client for late check out at the time. They asked me to sit down and wait but didn’t tell me the room wasn’t ready. After asking a few times over 20 minutes sitting in the lobby with family they finally admitted the room wasn’t ready. After I got angry they offered to comp me 1000 baht at the restaurant nearby ( a good profit for them if the previous customer is the one who left me room). Room was finally ready around 630 to 700. But of course they rushed the cleaning so didn’t finish the job. I asked for supplies to finish the job. ( they brought me one cloth). And they didn’t bother to move my bags to the room. Maybe I was unlucky but not sure that 1000 baht dinner was worth the aggravation. If you are travelling with family and value your time go to a hotel that also values your time. Incidentally they connected me to an onyx app so I could chat with them. But no one answers it. Room is ok. Furniture is a bit old but it has everything you need. But lots of hotels have that and also respect their clients. No explanation of the hotel or facilities given. Somehow in that 1.5 hours they didn’t manage to tell me about the gym, pool, shuttle etc…. It’s just not well run

Extremely pleasant stay with service staff (notably Kevin) who went the extra mile in ensuring comfort convenience and customer satisfaction. I requested for a late check out of 6PM and was allowed to upon knowing that I have a late flight and a meeting to attend to. Kevin was extremely forthcoming and made my stay here a very pleasant one of which i will recommend my friends/peers if they were to stay in BKK. Overall, Location, service, value were all top notch and exceeding expectations. Will come back again!

Nice place to stay in which is close by yet far enough from the chaotic Sukhumvit street. We spent 3 nights here and were very happy with the room, amenities and the hotel in general. We were in a rather large studio apartment on the 20th floor of Tower B. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the views from the room were great. There are some restaurants in the hotel lobby and a few along the street where the hotel is located. The hotel provides a shuttle which drops you off very close to Terminal 21 mall. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Bangkok.
