Good place for a night, nice view. Has all the basics but don’t expect much service. Self service check in. You can park luggage if not able to check in yet. Siren can be quite noisy if you are a light sleeper. Pillow wasn’t the greatest, woke up with neck pain. Room size is small so if you have lots of luggage you may not be able to move. We only had bag packs so we were ok. Conveniently located at Kobe Sannomiya station.

It's a business hotel that looks upmarket. Don't expect a 4 star+ service, you do get what you pay for which is a decent sleep, decent breakfast, great location and ok service. Still some issues to be sorted out like the smoothness of using alternate payment methods such as Union Pay (银联). Annoyances like the UI/UX of the check-in touchscreen terminal.

Checkin was the worst experience since the work load overwhelmed the staff at Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan. Last time, at least it was reasonable as it was new years eve and the lobby was packed with people for hours, but this time it was just us vs 4 hotel staff. I asked for checkin but mentioning my name was useless and I had to use a touch screen terminal to search my booking. The UI was not very responsive and after I typed my name one letter after another using a touch pen, I got the merciless “not found”. I tried and the result was always the same, again and again. I asked the staff and the solution was I had to wait them to do something after the input! Then the magic happened and I could go to the next page, which is a form about address etc of us, supposed to be filled with the same brilliantly efficient touch-pen-one-letter-a-time method. After all these process there was the payment method selection screen. I selected, and replied to the staff’s question about what I have selected multiple times, and they tried to charge with a wrong method. What is the point of that lovely screen? After all these, congratulations, the card key is ready. Explanation about breakfast location? time? checkout procedures? of course no. Then another confusing moment, one is expected to choose only one free amenity from a shelf of goodies, strictly one piece per head count. Then a few meters away there is another shelf of goodies one can take as many as it is needed! So in summary if your name is longer than a single letter, or your address is longer than a city name, or, well you don’t enjoy hassle, you have every reason to avoid this hotel. And if you found there are more than 4 people waiting to checkin before you, treat your self to a full course meal because you just got maybe 2 hours to wait! The proximity of the hotel to the station allured us to book, but after this unforgettable experience we will never stay in this hotel and of course any of the Hankyu group hotels as we had enough of this innovative stress test.

It’s a quite new hotel located just few hundred meters away from the Sannomiya JR Station West Exit. My room is on 23 floor and the view was great. There is even a massage chair in the room. Quite happy with it.

Very good place to stay for travel or just having a leisure time. The restaurant at top is also one of the best view in kobe. But it comes with a price. Having table facing window side cost extra 3000yen for the table alone.

A Good Bang for the buck. The hotel is directly connected to Sanomiya station and 3-5 min. walk to Limousine bus stops to and from KIX. You can find lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars around the hotel. The room is compact but clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel staff don’t really speak good English. I needed to get some ice and asked one of the staff at the lobby if there was any place where I could get some ice, but he wasn’t able to understand my questions and couldn’t give me any helpful answers. Despite the minor communication issue, all in all, I had a real nice stay at Remm Plus Kobe and I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Extremely convenient location as it’s near all the train lines. The room is small but functional with enough space and shelves to put things. I like that the room has huge window that gave us natural sunlight and a great view of Kobe! The room was also very clean and towels were changed daily. We had a very comfortable stay and I’ll choose this hotel again the next time!

Superb location in the central Sannomiya (the heart of Kobe) where you can walk to all 3 main stations (Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya, Hanshin Kobe-Sannnomiya and JR Sannomiya station) within 3 mins!! The bed was spacious and comfortable and the shower room was very clean (see the pictures) although the room is a bit small for those who want to work in the room but you can enjoy the massage chair! You can choose 3 options for the breakfast (western style breakfast - scrambled/fried eggs with bread, omelet or curry), all of which were very nice (I tried them all). The view from the restaurant is fantastic :)

My room at 24th floor has an amazing view. Specially at night, the city looks beautiful and special lights on surrounding mountains look spectacular! The hotel is located next to the train station. So the overall travel was easy!

All good: location is great, good views from the room, smooth checkin and checkout, friendly staff, good room cleaning, nicely designed compact rooms. On the expensive side but worth the money.

Highly recommend if you are visiting Kobe. Easy access to Sannomiya train station. Plenty of cafes and restaurants with good food. There is a super market directly under the hotel. Although the room was small, it was very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed 6 nights. My three year old also enjoyed the stay.
